Humans have gained amazing intellect in technology, and figured out how to open a portal to another universe. This one was full of cartoon-like ponies, and it wasn't long before they entered our world. Now, the ponies roam all over the planet, controlling the weather and casting magical spells that put the expression of awe on peoples' faces. Many people love the ponies and give them carrots or other snacks regularly. Some even groom the ponies' soft fur or decorate their manes. But some people don't like their new company. They find the myth-like equines a nuisance, and try with all their might to ignore and avoid them. But soon, a company builds a factory. A giant, unstoppable factory. Many people find the ponies' pelts beautiful and soft, and wish that they could have shawls, scarves, or other pieces of clothing made from their fur. So the company took these wishes into consideration and fulfilled them. The fur factory soon reaches the news, and all of ponykind realize that they are in great danger. Many ponies try to cast spells to recreate the portal that brought them to Earth, but it's impossible for their magic to have as much power as the human machines do. Many ponies are getting captured, and in the factory, unspeakable horrors are forced upon them. They can only scream and struggle as their horns are sliced off, their wings are brutally ripped from their bodies, and they are hung upside-down and skinned alive. Most ponies cannot escape the wrath of the factory. But, four ponies can. These ponies are...The Shadow Ponies.

Good God, some of you guys are SO CRITICAL. Be nice, it's only my first story. If any of you post any nasty comments, I'll either delete them or, if it's REALLY nasty and offends me or this story personally, I'll reply exactly the way you commented: nasty.
