When i woke, I was lying on a stone floor. When I got up off the ground, I noticed that it was not just the floor that was stone. But also the walls and the ceiling.
There was a door on one of the walls. But it was made of bars. There was a bunk bed built into the wall. Along with a sink and a toilet.
"So your finally awake." A voice said from the far corner. I turned the direction of voice. It was dark in the corner so I couldn't make out the figure.
"W-who's there?" I asked, trying not to sound scared.
"I think you already know who I am." The figure said. Out of the shadows stepped scootaloo. But she looked nothing like she did in the show. She was older. At least a teenager by how ponies look.
Also her hair laid flat and she had a huge scare crossing her left eye and and continuing diagonally across her nose and ending at her upper lip.
The eye that the scare covered was a bleak gray color. Meaning that she could no longer see out of it. I took a step back, shocked by what I saw. "Sc-scootaloo?" I asked. She gave me a little smile.
"Hey there. Hows it going?" She said with a weak voice. I stepped closer to her. It was in fact her.
"W-where am I?" I asked her. Her smile slowly fell.
"Equestria or, at least, whats left of it." She told me.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I slowly started to get a grip of my surroundings. She explained to me that the show that I watch was actually taped years and years ago.
It was on air to get attention to this world. Once this world did look like in the show, but since then it had turned into a living hell. Princess Celestia had gotten sick in the mind and had caused war with the other races.
She won the war, but the cost was grave. Hundreds of thousands of ponies had died in the war and something had to be done. So twilight and the other elements came together and killed Celestia.
It was the only way to put a stop to her. Everyone thought that after she was gone everything would go back to normal.
If only that was the case. I was told that after she was killed, the elements decided to take all of that power and rule Equestria themselves. Luna tried to stop them, but she was no match for all 6 of them.
Discord was nowhere to be found. Some believe that he fled the castle so that the girls could not take his powers as well.
All I know is this is not the Equestria I dreamed of. Not even close to any fanfic I've ever read. "Well, your here. I don't know for what reason, but here you are. I've never heard of a human coming here." She told me.
I sat on the floor and looked at the ground. All of this sounded like a bad dream.
But there was no way this could be a dream, right? "It's strange though." She said. I looked up at her.
"What is it?" I asked.
"In all of the time I've been here, never once have i had a cellmate." She explained. She came over and sat next to me. "So, I never caught your name." She said.
"I-I'm......." I thought about it, but I couldn't remember my name.
"I don't know." I told her.
"Amnesia huh? That will clear up." She said. I looked at her.
"Why are you here?" I asked her. She stared at the wall across from her.
"It's a long story." She told me.
"I understand." I said. She got up and went over to the bunk. She picked up a set of clothing and brought them to me.
"Here, you'll need these."
She told while handing me them. When I looked closer at the clothes, I noticed that they were prison clothes. "The guards brought these in with you." She explained. She handed them to me. "Put these on." She told me.
I stood up. I took off my sweatshirt which had apparently gotten cut up. I took my shirt off and threw it on the ground. I put on the prison top. It didn't really fit to my body.
I took my shoes and pants off. I looked over to scoot to see her looking away. At least the prison pants fit in the waist area. I put my shoes back on.
40 years ago if you would have told me that I would soon be dragged into a horrible version Equestria and thrown into a prison to be bunked with scootaloo who had been tortured a time or two, I would have thought you crazy and walked away.
Now, not so much.
I put my shoes back on and sat against the wall. Scoot came over and sat next to me. "You must have done something really bad." She said.
"Whys that?" I asked.
She grinned. "This cell block that we are in isn't a normal one like the rest. This block is reserved for the prisoners that the warden see's as a threat to the rule of Equestria." She told me.
"Then why are you in here?" I asked. Her face showed no expression.
"I cant trust you to tell you." She told me. I sighed.
"I guess that's true since we just met and all." I said. Suddenly, the cell door opened and a pony wearing a guard uniform stood in the door way.
"Human! The warden wants to see you." He said. Scoot placed a hoof on my shoulder.
She smiled. "You'll be fine." She reassured me.
"Ya." I told her. I got to my feet and walked over to the guard.
"Start walking." He told me, stepping to the side. I took one last look at scoot, then I stepped out of the door and into the hallway.
Author's Note
If you read this far i would just like to thank all of you for giving this story a chance. I hope to be releasing the next one within a few days or so.
Again, thank all of you for reading. If you have ideas for the story then let me know and ill take them into consideration.
Outside of the cell was is what you'd think a prison block usually looks like. The only difference was that unlike others, this one was only one floor.
The room was a long rectangular shape with at least 20 cells on each of the longer sides. On the shorter sides were doors.
However, These were unlike any I've ever seen before. They were large steel doors with no key hole in sight. Instead, there was a small hole in the center.
There were guards stationed all over the room. At most there were 15 or so. The guard pushed me from behind.
"Get moving prisoner." He told me. Only then had i noticed that he was carrying a spear. The spear was wrapped around an orange . He pointed towards the door.
It was the only one in the entire room that lead out of here. I walked towards the door.
As i walked, I stole some glances at some of the other prisoners. There weren't just ponies in here. I saw some griffons, diamond dogs, even some changelings.
I noticed that they had collars around there necks. People like to put off little details like this. But in this tale, even the littlest detail can be important.
When we reached the door the guard put his horn into the hole and twisted his head. The door let out a *Clunk* sound. The door swung open a few seconds later. The guard once again pushed me forward. Through the door was a set of stairs leading upwards.
We walked up those stairs for a good 5 minutes before we reached the top of them. At the top was another door. This one, however, was different. Unlike the last one, it had two mechanisms.
This one took a guard on each side to open it. The guard next to me put his horn in the slot and twisted like before. Only, the door didn't swing open.
Then another guard from the other side did the same as my guard. At least, that's what I thought until the door make that sound and it swung open.
At that point I had noticed that the other side had a wing slot were you would lay your wing on it. I walked through the door. In front of me, like some sort of trend, was another door.
Only, it was just a regular door. No slots, no complicated mechanism. Just a wooden door with a knob and a key hole. To the left and right of the door were to guards. Earth ponies. The saw us and opened the door. We walked through that one as well.
A lot of questions raced through my head. However, one of the only ones that kept was why all of this secrecy? What was so dangerous about the ones locked down where i was? On the other side of the door was what a prison should look like.
It had 3 levels all with cells on them. "Keep moving." The guard growled. I kept walking forward. As i looked at the cells i noticed that there were only ponies in these ones.
That caught me as strange. But shit, what didn't when you suddenly wake up in a prison somewhere in a fucked up Equestria.
We walked to the middle of the room on the far right wall. We came to a bared door. The guard opened it and pushed me through. He shut the door behind me. In front of me was a long hall way with doors on all both sides. Suddenly my wrists move against my will to behind my back and locked together.
"What the-" But before i could finish my sentence, I was stuck in the back of the head. I don't know what was with ponies, but they must love to hit others in the back of the head.
Now, i don't know how long i was out but what i did know is that i woke up with one of the worst headache I've ever had.
When I next opened my eyes, i surveyed the room. To tell the truth, i may have been panicking. It looked to be an office. A desk sat in front of me.
A leather chair was at the desk turned around. There were pictures on the walls of the main 6 and the wonderbolts. But the picture that threw me off was against the back wall past the desk.
It was a large portrait of rainbow dash and scootaloo. Suddenly the chair turned around. Fully turned, i gasp at who is sitting in the chair.
She smiled at me. "Hello there." Rainbow dash said.
Chapter 5
My heart stopped for a split second when i saw her. That time, however, felt like years. I tried to move, but i found that my arms were still bound together. My legs strapped to the chair legs with leather restraints. Rope was wrapped around my chest.
"There's no use in trying to move. I made sure of it." She told me, smirking. She got up out of her chair and walked over to me.
"W-what do you want?" I asked her, a hint of fear in my voice. Without hesitation, she turned and bucked me right in the chest. Pain engulfed my whole body as all the air left my lungs. I choked trying to get more air. My vision blurred as i spit up what looked to be blood. She must have broken at least four ribs if i remember correctly.
"You do not talk unless i tell you you can talk." She told me. I nodded, finally grasping air in my lungs. She lifted my chin up with her hoof. Smirked at me. "So, you're a human huh?" She asked.
I nodded, fearing another kick. She let my chin drop as she moved her hoof away. "Do you know why you're here?" She asked me. I quickly shook my head.
"Well, that makes two of us then." Rainbow dash sighed. I looked up at her. So not even she knows why i'm here. "Whatever the reason, you're here and that's all there is to it." She walked back to her desk and leaned against it.
"To be honest, I'm not to happy about your being here. It just gives me more work to do. But let me make one thing clear, don't get too close to scootaloo. There's a reason she's down there." She told me. Then at that moment, the door opened and two ponies walked in.
One was a guard like the others. The other one however, struck fear into me the moment i saw her. She wore a lab coat and horn that was stained with, as far as I could tell, was blood. Her hair was a mess and she had bloodshot eyes.
"Good, you're here. Take this one to the room for his mark." She told them. The guard came forward and undid my bindings. He put cuffs back on me and pushed me towards the door. The mare examined me while I was be escorted out of the room. She trotted beside me as we walked.
She looked me over with her eyes many times. Must have been her lucky day to get to examine a species unknown to pony kind. To myself, however, it was terrifying. Here I was inside the long hallway again. We walked down to the 6th door.
The guard opened the door and pushed me in. It was dark inside the room with only a single light hung above. The light came on and the room lit up. The was no furniture but instead a table with restraints. Before I could ponder further, I was pick up with magic. No matter how much I struggled, I couldn't do a damn thing.
I looked over to see the crazy doctor was doing it. She hovered me over to the table and slammed me onto it. It hurt, but not as much as what was going to come next. The guard strapped my arms and legs to the table. It was a little weird since i'm taller than a pony. After he was done, the doctor came over to me.
She examined my body. She traced over my chest with her hoof. She turned my head left and right, probably testing my joints and muscles. She opened my mouth using magic. She looked inside and mumbled to herself. Meanwhile, the guard was behind me doing something. I couldn't see what, but whatever he was doing was emanating heat. After a few minutes, the guard came out from behind me, holding something with his teeth. Only then could I see what he was up to. He was holding the handle to a branding tool, now heated.
I started to sob at the sight of it. I'd seen videos of branding, but to think it would happen to me is unreal. The doctor's magic tore the prison top off of my body. The guard brought the brand next to my revealed upper arm. Tears ran down my face as I felt the heat. Then, in one swift movement, he pressed the smoldering metal onto my arm and held it there. I screamed in pain as my flesh was burnt. The smell it gave off was revolting. It was too much. My vision blacked and the pain was gone.
Those mother fuckers! Using brands on us prisoners. They think they can do this with no consequence. Oh but don't you worry, they get what's comin to 'em. Just you wait. I'm still not sure how long I was out. A day? A week? A month? Who knows. What I do know is my next sight was one of.......surprise? If I remember correctly, I woke up in my cell. The light in the room hurt my eyes. For some reason, my left side was warm.
I turned my head to see scootaloo snuggling up to me. Her body was pressed up against mine. I couldn't see it, but I bet my face was lit up bright red. With every exhale, her breath hit my neck. She had one of her back legs laying across my lower torso. I had always had dreams about something like this, but for it to happen? Crazy. Yet here it is. I would have loved to go farther, but I needed to know what happened. Trying to move, I woke her. Her eyes opened slowly.
I looked into her eyes. They were clouded by something dark. Must have been something in her past. She put on a fake smile. "Good morning." She told me. I tried to sit up, but my injuries were still there. "I wouldn't try to get up yet." Scoot told me. She reached around herself and grabbed a piece of bread. "Here, eat." She said, bringing the food to my mouth. I took a bite and ate it.
I couldn't remember the last time I had eaten, so it was great to have it. Next came some water. So refreshing. She helped me sit up against the wall. "Thank you scoot." I told her. She ripped a piece of cloth from of my old shirt and wrapped it around my wound. I winced at the pain. "Just bear with it a little longer." She told me, finishing up.
The pain was intense, but It was nothing compared to the pain I would inflict to the ones that put me in here. Suddenly, she wrapped her hooves around my neck. "I'm glad you're alright. They brought you back and just threw your body on the ground. Just laughing at your pain." She told me. I felt tears hit the back of my neck.
"It's been so long since I've had someone to talk to. I don't want to lose another." She wept. Then I heard anger in her voice. "It's all Rainbow's fault too! She convinced her friends to take the power that ended up corrupting them. I hate her." She told me, her words speaking true.
I grabbed her hoof and squeezed it. "Don't you worry scootaloo. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." I said. She laughed a bit. "I suppose that's true. We'll both be here for the rest of our lives." She said, a little sad. But that's when the idea came to me. "Hey Scootaloo?" I asked her.
"What is it?" She replied. "Has anyone tried to escape before? From the prison?" She just looked at me with crazed eyes. "E...scape?" She asked, as if what I had said was a foreign concept. "Ya, you know, bust out of here?" I said again. Her face scrunched up as she thought. "I don't believe so. I've been here since a little after the completion of the prison and no one has ever tried." She said. After a little bit of an effort, I stand up.
That was it then. I had seen enough prison break movies to have an idea of how to do it too. It was going to take time. Even years! However, that's all I had. Time.
I've still got plenty of story to tell so I'm gonna skip ahead. Let's start at the day before the prison break. This took place on my 6 year anniversary in prison. Those six years were spent planning, gathering, getting into shape, and waiting for the right time. And the time had come. The warden herself had come down with a bad flu and most of the guards had been out sick.
The warden had locked herself in her office, the guards' numbers were few to none, and Scootaloo and I had what we needed to execute the plan. And there was one thing we both agreed on. Rainbow Dash had to die. Afterwards, we would team up and find a way to take out the rest of the six.
The plan played out just as I wanted it to. "Help! Help! He's dieing! Somepony do something!" Scootaloo screamed from our cell. I was laying on the ground pretending to have a seizure. As if planned, a guard come to our cell and opens the door. It was as I suspected. A newbie. Perfect. He came over to inspect me. When he got close enough, Scootaloo pounced.
She locked her hooves around his neck and started to choke to. I quickly jumped to my feet and grabbed the spear he had dropped. Scootaloo let go of him just as I thrusted the spear into his stomach. It went clean through. I then proceeded to disembowel him. His guts spilled onto the ground. Gruesome, but necessary. We grabbed his keys and left our cell.
None of the other guards had seen us yet, so we decided to take advantage of the situation. She had on her a handmade shank I had made for her. I took my spear and rushed one of the other guards. By the time he noticed me, it was already too late. Straight through his throat it went, like a hot knife going through butter. He dropped to the ground and I looked over to see scootaloo finished with a guard as well.
I looked to the lower level and spotted three more guards. I looked down at the corpse. The item I needed was the horn. I brought my foot up and slammed down on the horn. A loud snap was the result. The guards definitely heard that. So without hesitation, I jumped over the railing.
The guard closest to me turned and stumbled back. I took that opportunity and threw my spear at him. I traveled through the air until it reached its destination. His eye. I ran up and dislodged my spear from his skull. Scootaloo had gone ahead and taken out the other one. Only one guard left. I looked over to see a dagger flying my way. I tried to dodge it, but I was grazed on the chest.
The guard tried to run to the alarm, but scootaloo was too quick. She cut him off and sunk her shank into his skull. He dropped to the ground and the room was silent. I took a deep breath and looked to scootaloo. "That went as planed." I said smiling. She came over to me and kissed me. "That's only step one darling. On to the next one." She told me, moving to the other cells.
Step one, take out the guards. Step two, assemble our team. We walked over to the cell holding the changeling. Her cold eyes caught me off guard. "Hey there." I said. The changeling looked me up and down. "Yes?" She asked. I grinned. Things were about to get interesting. If I had to rate the event, I'd say it's on my top 5 favorite moments in Equestria. I mean, who doesn't love a prison break?
Anyway, back to the story. I explained the situation to the changeling. She was quiet for a while, but finally spoke up. "I'm in." So we unlocked her cell used the unicorn horn to take her collar off. "I'm princess crysle." She tells us, flipping her short green mane. We introduced ourselves and told crysle our plan.
"That just might work." She says. I walked over to a corpse and grinned. "Will this one work?" I ask her. She cracked her neck. "Only one way to find out." Her crooked horn started to glow green. Then, after a flash, in her place stood the dead guard from before. I was impressed. "Good job. How about the voice?" I asked.
"I think we're good to go." Crystal told to me, smiling. "Almost." Scootaloo said. I thought about it for a minute. "Oh, right. The muscle." I said outloud. I looked around and found my target. "The dragon." I said. A few cells away was a 6 and a half foot blue dragon strapped up and muzzled. "We need him." I told the two.
I walked over and looked him in the eyes. "Seeing as you can't speak, I'm going to ask you some questions and you can either nod or shake your head. Does that sound alright?" I asked him. He cocked his head to one side and nodded. "Alright. We're planning to escape from this place and we need some muscle. Do you want out?" I asked him, hoping he would say yes. But thankfully he nodded his head right away.
"I'm glad you said so." I take the key and opened the cell. Then, using the spear, I cut his restraints off. He threw them to the ground and then ripped off his muzzle off. He grinned from ear to ear and looked down at me. "I must thank you for freeing me." He said, kneeling. "From this day on, I shall be a loyal dragon to you and only you."
I patted him on the shoulder. "Alright then. Rise um....."
"Slasher. Call me slasher."
"Slasher it is then." I hand him a spear. "Now let's go pay the warden a visit." I tell my team. We make our way out of the block and up the stairs to the first door. "Now, there's no guards at this first door. All we'll have to do is insert the horn and twist. The door will open and we'll make our way to the next one." It's just as I said. No guards anywhere. Only one door. Just as I remembered it. One small step to our major goal.
"This next one is going to be a bit tougher. Crystle, I need you to morph into the guard from before. The stallion on the other side is named terris. Act normal and get us through. I'll act to be dead, and that'll give him a reason to let you in. Use this horn." I explained to crysle, handing her the horn. "Got it." She said in a deep voice. "Slasher, you and scoot will be waiting for the signal. When you hear it, strike." With those orders, We set the plan into motion.
I layed on crysle's back and played dead. She approached the door. "What's wrong with that one?" The guard asked through a slot. "Dead. The cell mate called for help but was long gone by the time we got there. One part of the job I hate." Crysle told the stallion, acting her part. The stallion laughed. "I get that. Dragging around dead prisoners is always a bore. Here, let's get you through." He told her. Crysle bent her head down and carefully put the horn in the slot and turned it.
The door slid open slowly. I counted down from 5. I looked at his hoof and saw something. 4. It was something familiar. 3. It was a hidden blade. 2. I want it. 1. I lept from crysle's back and attacked the pegasi. He fell back. I curled up my fist and landed one clean punch to the throat. I removed the weapon while the guard was struggling to breath.
Scootaloo and slasher rush to me. "Slasher, finish him." I said. He cracked his knuckles. "My pleasure." Slasher said, grabbing the guard's head. Then, with one swift motion, he crushes the head. "Jesus fuckin' christ. That was brutal." I told him happily. I strapped the hidden blade onto my wrist. "This should make things go more smoothly. Keep the spear Slasher." I said outloud. "Okay team, huddle up."
The others came in close. "Here's the deal. There is only one door left in our way. Nothing fancy this time. It's a plain wooden door with a keyhole. We won't need the key though. Slasher, I'll need you to focus on taking out that door. Scootaloo and I will fight the guards. Crysle morph into the pegasi. That'll make the guards think they have back up. Then," I said, handing her the dagger from earlier. "You take them out from behind." I finished. They nodded their heads. I grinned.
"Then let's go team." I told them. I'm just going to skip ahead a bit. We got past the last door with relative ease. I had a bit of trouble trying to use the hidden blade. I had to try to figure out how exactly to use it. I did it though. So we got through the door, left a trail of bodies behind us, and we were making our way to Rainbow dash's office. I led my group to her office, killing all the guards we came across.
Eventually, we came to the hallway. No alarms have gone off yet so I guessed that no one had discovered us yet. That worked for me. On the way to the end, I spotted a familiar mare. One I had wanted to get a hand on for 6 years. In one of the rooms sat the crazed doctor. "Hold on. I need to do something." I told them. I looked at slasher and pointed at the door. Without hesitation, he rammed the door down. The doctor turned around and saw us.
She smiled. "Ah. The human. I guess I'll have that chance to dissect you now." She laughed. I activated my blade. "As if." I said. I ran forward and took a slash at her. Once again, she used her magic on me to lift me to the air. Only, that didn't last long. Scootaloo tackled her. I fell from the air towards the doctor. I aimed my shot and landed right on her horn. It snapped right off. She tried to scream, but crysle stuffed her mouth. Slasher held her still on the ground. The room was the same one as I was branded in 6 years ago.
"Slasher. Strap her to the table." I commanded. He nodded and did as I asked. I looked around and spotted the item in question. The branding iron. "She's all strapped down." Slasher told me. I patted his shoulder. "Good work. Now I need you to heat this up." I told him, picking up the brand. He took in a deep breath and blew out fire. The iron turned bright white.
I walked over to the table and looked deep into the doctor's eyes. Fear. I could see the fear in her eyes. It was such a lovely sight. "Oh don't you worry doctor. I'm not going to lay one hand on you." I told her, smiling. A wicked grin crossed my face. "Scootaloo on the other hand, has a bone to pick with you." I said. The doctor's eyes widened and I laughed as tears start to flow.
I saw scootaloo coming towards me. I handed her the branding tool and stood beside her. "You. You took away the only thing that I've ever been proud of. It took me years and the help of someone I've come to love, but here I am. About to exact my revenge." She hatefully said. Tears began to run down her face. "You disabled my wings! I-I'll never be able to fly again! After so many years of doubting myself, I was finally able to fly like a true pegasis! But you. You took that from me! So now, I'm gonna take your life."
Scootaloo's eyes had the look of ferocity. She wanted the kill, and I wanted to give that to her. "End her." I whispered to scootaloo. She brought the brander up and slammed it down on her face. The sight was horrid. The flesh started to melt. It oozed and burnt as time passed. The smell in the room is one of the worst I've ever smelt up to this day. Crysle threw up a few feet away.
I went over to check on her. "Hey, crysle. You alright?" I asked her. She wiped her mouth. "Y-ya. I-I'm fine." She told me. She looked at me and smiled. "Thank you for caring." She said. I rustled her hair. "No problem." I told her. I turned back to see scootaloo on the ground crying. I saw the face of the freshly burned mare and gagged. To this day, it is one of the worst sights I can think of.
I grabbed scootaloo and helped her to her feet. "Are you alright my dear?" I asked her. She wiped the tears from her eyes and hugged me. "Thank you. You helped me get my revenge." She told me. I hugged her back to signify that she was welcome. We left the room and made our way to the true goal.
Rainbow Dash.
This is where shit gets intense. At the very end of the hall stood the only wooden door in this entire hallway. "If my sources are correct, then the warden should be in her office recovering from her sickness. She'll be sick and in no shape to fight back. Follow my lead but keep an eye out." I warned them. Walking down that hallway brought back all of those memories from six years ago.
When we reached the door, I had Crysle knock while in guard form. "What is it? I thought I told you all not to- ACHOO. Bother me." She said weakly. "Forgive me, but we have a problem that I need to discuss with you." Crysle told her, her voice deep and commanding. "A problem? Now? Just my luck. Enter." She said. I turned to Slasher and nodded. He popped his fingers and kicked the door down.
I walked in the room to find a weak and terrified Rainbow Dash. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen warden." I said, laughing. "Slasher, hold her down and keep her quiet. Crysle, go through the drawers and any hidden safes. I'd check behind that huge portrait." I ordered them. They both went to work. I turned to Scootaloo. "This is it. Our last stop before we make it out of here." I told her.
That made her smile. "After so many years, it's finally over." She told me. I embraced her in a loving kiss. "You know what they say. It takes two to tango." I said, spinning her. "You better come look at this." Crysle said to me, waving me over. She did like I told her. She checked behind the giant painting and did find a safe.
"Good job Crysle! Now to get the thing open." I said outloud. There was no combination on the front, but a wing slot like the door from earlier. "I see. Scootaloo, would Rainbow's wing get this open?" I asked the mare, pondering my thoughts. "I....believe so. But she's a fighter. She'll never let us get her wing anywhere close to it." She explained to me.
I turned to the mare in question and walked over to her position, which was 5 feet away pushed down on her stomach. Slasher had stuffed her mouth with anything he could find. "If she won't do it herself, then I suppose we'll just "relieve" her of her wings." I said with a wicked smile, directing it at the warden. Her eyes opened wide at my words. She began to shake her head.
"Oh, what's wrong? The big bad warden doesn't want me to rip her wings off? Is that it?" I asked her, talking to her like a child. She shook her head. I turn to my partner in crime. "What do you say my dear?" I asked scootaloo, already aware of her answer. Afterall, it WAS Rainbow Dash who ordered the surgery Scootaloo went through. She looked her former role model in the eyes. It was an icy and distant glare.
"Off With her wings." My dear Scootaloo said, turning away. I cracked my knuckles and mounted Rainbow. I grasped the bases of her wings and began to pull. I ordered Slasher to push her body down as I pulled. As I pulled, I could hear tendons snap and flesh tear. Tears streamed down her face as I slowly tore her pride and joy away from her.
"And one final pull." I said to myself. I stepped on Rainbows back. Her once cyan coat was now tainted with blood and piss. I pulled as hard as I could. That was the ticket. Her wings finally gave in and were free of her body. I looked down and saw two bloody holes on her back. "That was thrilling!" I shouted, laughing hysterically. Rainbow didn't even budge after that.
She died in a puddle of her own blood and urine. I handed the wings to Scootaloo. "The honor is yours." I declared. She then placed one of the wings in the slot. A lock was heard. Seconds later, the door to the safe opened. The contents included some paperwork that Scootaloo took, prisoner profiles, a map with markings, and a giant envelope with one word written on it. Human.
I grabbed the envelope along with the map. I opened the envelope and took out the contents. I read through all of the papers inside. Studies, photos, x-rays, and a report. All of it, about me. For the past 6 years, they had been documenting me. It was all interesting, but the thing that caught me off guard was the name they filled in for me.
Zen
"Zen huh? Not a bad name." I said to myself. I opened the map next. It was a map of Equestria. There were 7 places circled in red on the map. Scootaloo grabbed my shoulder. "It's time to go." She told me. I folded the map and shoved it in my pocket. "Right. Just one last thing I need to do." I said. I walked to Rainbow's body and and lifted her head.
"Slasher, if you would?" I asked him. I came over and cleaved her head off with his claws. I took my shirt off and wrapped her head in it. "Good to go now." So we made our way out of the prison. We ended up killing all of the guards too. The final door was a gigantic iron gate. "Well, this is going to be fun." I said sarcastically.
Slasher stepped up. "Don't worry sir. I've got this." He told me, matter of factly. He grabbed one of the giant doors. His muscles bulged as he pulled at the door. I doubted him at first, but that was before I noticed the iron behemoth begin to bend. Before I knew it, he had torn the massive gate from its hinges.
I stood there shocked. It's not everyday that you see one person tear down a 20 foot iron door. I slapped his back. "Remind me not to get on your bad side." I told him honestly. On the other side of the door is Equestria. Well, different Equestria than what I predicted. Scootaloo told me how it had changed, but to what extent I had never known.
The once green grass and blue skies were gone. In their place stood dead grass and black clouded skies. The trees that were once tall and strong had been chopped and only black stumps remained. "No way...." I trailed off, having all of my dreams smashed at once. I fell to my knees. "So this is Equestria." I asked to no one in particular. "What's left of it." Scootaloo said, right behind me.
I got off of my knees and stood. After I dusted myself off, I turned to the others. "Welcome to freedom." I congratulated them. "So, what is our next move?" Crysle asked me, looking to me for guidance. Before I could answer, I felt something stick into my neck. I checked the area with my hand and felt a dart.
I ripped it out and looked to see the others falling to the ground. I rushed and grabbed Scootaloo, as an attempt to shield her. Shortly after, I fainted. It was all going so smoothly too. But maybe that's the reason this happened. Nothing like that should ever go that smoothly. Which means someone had been watching the prison closely. I was so happy about getting out that I didn't survey my surroundings.
