Prologue. Reboot.
"Look at this, Ryan. This is the place."
"Do you think so, John?"
The two boys got in the arcade with the huge neon lights in the roof that spelled "Flynn's". They have learned about it from their fathers, who always spoke about the good ages of the arcades.
Once inside, they started to inspect the old and dusty arcades in order to see if only one of those kept working after all those years. Sam Flynn leaved this place years ago, abandoning it to the atmospheric conditions. The rain made a hole in the roof. Therefore, a huge lake was in the center of the arcade.
Two hours later, the two boys had checked upon almost all the arcades on it.
"Sorry, John. I gotta go. Have some business to attend to."
"Alright. Thank you for helping me with this, bro."
"See you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow."
Ryan got out of the arcade, leaving John all alone to check upon the last arcade. The name TRON was on the top, flashing with neon lights on it. John made his way through all the water in order to see it. It was working, even with the water at the height of John's ankles. When he was about to use a coin to prove it, a light movement on the water took his attention. It seemed that water was flushing out from a small hole in the ground.
John saw the floor he was in with extreme curiosity. It seemed like it could move with a circular movement. John pushed the side of the arcade, revealing some stairs that went beneath the arcade. John went in, getting pretty wet from the water flushing in.
After a few moments, he reached a door. Sealed with an old padlock. Too old that with a simple hit, it broke up, revealing a small room on it, with a simple desk on the center of it.
John's curiosity went at the top, obligating him to inspect the desk closely. A small button was on the top. John pushed it, revealing a screen in the top of the desk. He pushed a few words on it. Typical of a programmer, he hacked the main operative system in order to enter. The name Kevin Flynn showed in the screen, revealing to him what they was searching for: a way to make easy money with the stolen stuff.
However, a list of commands was showed up in the screen, empathizing the command "laser".
Too curious was his nature, for him to set the command to work.
The worst error in his life.
