Twilight Sparkle and her friends all receive an anonymous invitation to a private ball held in Canterlot. Rarity, eager for the chance to mingle with the upper class ponies, insists they all attend.

But when Fleur de Lis is found dead in her suite, the seemingly uneventful night is tossed from a tedious soiree into a ruthless game of who-done-it. It is up to Twilight Sparkle and her friends to solve this tale of lust and murder.
