The Way of the Demonby Daddle_ButtsChaptersChapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 1Chapter 2Twilight Sparkle took a deep breath. "I'm going out." Cries of protest, confusion, and anger broke out after two seconds. Twilight closed her eyes and listened to their desperate pleas. "I SAID I'M GOING OUT!" She yelled suddenly. All fell into an eerie silence. "I need to talk to her. She obviously killed somepony or something, I need to find out and report her to Princess Celestia at once. Murder is not tolerated lightly, especially if it's a scary new addition to Ponyville like her!" Applejack put her hat to her chest, " Suppose you're right, sugarcube." Rainbow Dash, on the other hand, still persisted further. "WHAT?! She's obviously dangerous if she's a murderer!" She yelled at Twilight. The lavender unicorn grimaced, "As right as you may be, Dashie, even if she takes my own life... I will die if it means reporting her to justice and saving thousands of other lives." That immediately shut Dash up. Twilight Sparkle headed to the door, then paused for a moment. "You girls are my sisters, you all know that, right?" And with that, she trotted out, slamming the door behind her. -- Shadowsmiles stood up and shook her fur. Her earrings jingled and jangled. She took off her beret to reveal a white, broken horn. She squinted as her horn sparked and levitated some of the plates up, but barely. Her levitation skills were extremely rusty and her magic skills were sloppy and she had, if not none at all, very little knowledge of magic. She grimaced at the sight of her old and worn cape and made the grave decision of throwing it out. She slipped on her beret and set off to find a water hole of some sort to wash her plates and return the dishes she borrowed from.. Blossomforth, now was it? She noticed a purple pony following her. Shadowsmiles guess that the young unicorn was trying to be stealthy, but she was clearly failing. So Shadowsmiles pretended like she didn't notice and kept on walking until she found a water hole. She washed the dishes until they were sparkling and outstretched her wings, preparing to fly to Blossomforth's house- She was cut off as the unicorn ran to her screaming, " DON'T MOVE, MURDERER!" Chapter 3Shadowsmiles was surprised to see the lavender unicorn lunge at her and tackle her. Shadowsmiles was shocked that the pony would actually make the decision of trying to fight her, but couldn't do anything, because it all happened so quickly. Now, the little purple unicorn was a great deal smaller than Shadowsmiles, but her magic was powerful. Not as powerful as Shadowsmiles' vectors, though. Shadowsmiles was forced onto the ground and kept there by a magic restraint around her chest, belly, and hooves. "What do you want?" She said calmly. Twilight stared at her, puzzled. She would have thought this mare would be begging for mercy, struggling to get out and screaming and crying, but she was simply staring up her? "W-Well, as you should know, murder is NOT tolerated lightly in Equestria." Twilight tried to speak without fear. Though Shadowsmiles only nodded and said, "And?" Twilight's jaw dropped. Could this pony really be so ignorant to the law? Was it even possible? To be so oblivious to what your penalties would be? "A-And you.. you are going to go to P-Princess Celes..tia.. and face the charges of death, even!" Twilight stuttered angrily. "That should intrigue me, how? I do not fear the Princesses." Shadowsmiles spoke with a remarkably steady voice. "YOU SHOULD FEAR THE PRINCESSES!" Twilight yelled suddenly, releasing the magic restraint by accident. Shadowsmiles wasted no time pinning her down. After all, Shadowsmiles was a great deal bigger than Twilight, and she had her vectors. "Do not test my patience, you little unicorn." She said with a rather blank expression. It was as if she had no emotion whatsoever. Twilight panicked and used her teleportation spell to get at least four feet away from her. "Who did you kill?" Twilight gasped with fear. Shadowsmiles shrugged. "It was a bear or something, I dunno." Twilight screamed, "HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHAT YOU KILLED?!" Shadowsmiles stared at her blankly. There was an eerily long silence between them, other than Twilight's raspy breathing and gasping. Shadowsmiles had such an empty emotion that it was creepier than the Everfree forest, practically. Twilight took a step back, then another, then another. "Don't hurt me," Twilight said, wishing she could do something to save herself from what this pony might do. Chapter 1Equestria was perfect and happy. Sunshine and rainbows with not a single white cloud in the sky to be seen. Everyone loved each other, cared for each other and helped each other out. It was the good life. Or so it seemed. No one knew of Equestria's dark secrets and past; no one knew of the Demon Realm, hundreds of feet underground. They never knew that the land that they trotted on could be the roof of a Demon pony. Demon ponies are simple to describe; large bat wings with an average wingspan of eight to fourteen feet, and vectors of intense heat the colors of either their eyes or their manes, they are feared creatures. They have urges to kill and when enraged, their vectors release without warning. There have been wars between the demon ponies and the ponies from above, but the earth ponies were able to prevail and banished the demon ponies underground for all eternity. Few had survived and they reproduced quickly. They now number somewhere in the 700,000 range. -- Ponyville was bright and full of sunshine and a rainbow conquered the sky. But no pony was outside, except for one white mare with a burgundy and cyan colored mane and tail. She wore a red beret atop her head and a red worn and torn cape, which in this case, she used as a picnic blanket. Her eyes were a bright crimson and as were the tips of her hooves. Batlike wings spread out to block sunlight from hitting her. Apparently, she was enjoying a nice little lunch of some kind of unknown meat and a variety of cheeses. The putrid, metallic smell of blood stained the air. Ponies cowered in their houses, Ponyville was silent. Ponyville was scared, it seemed, of their new visitor. And their new visitor was a murderer.
