The Everfree Saga

Explorer, treasure hunter, and curator Daring Do has been holed in a small office in Manehattan's history museum for months, fussing with boring paperwork and sometimes wandering around the museum, telling her stories to anypony that would listen. And being herself, that means everypony wants to listen. But when the princess herself contacts the famous adventurer, telling of some ancient powerful magic emanating from the Everfree forest that makes it's inhabitants go wild, she sends off to Ponyville to track down whatever relics may be causing all this chaos.
However, what the princess didn't tell her is that a rainbow-haired fan and some excitable newcomers wouldn't be able to pass up going on an adventure with a legend such as herself.
