Godzilla Returns

Spike woke up, giving a groan of pain. Cold stone met his back, making him shiver, He opened his eyes, slowly adjusting to the darkness. His head pounded, making him slowly get up. His emerald eyes finally adjusted, seeing the a skull in front of him. He gasped, backing away, bumping into something scaly.

He froze, hearing loud gusts of wind from behind him, slowly turning to see a creature of legend; the Trot Ness Monster. It had yellow scales, it's rhythmic breathing indicating it was sleeping. He slowly backed away, then looked around, seeing he was in a massive cave, stalagmites hung from the ceiling like fangs. He looked towards where the skull was, seeing old bones, humanoid, and a old, broken submarine. Rust covered it, half of it was buried in stone.

Spike saw a large pool of water at the end of the cave, a broken egg near it. He started to head towards it, before a long tail curled around him, making him stop, a soft growl sounding off behind him. He turned around to see the marine reptile was awakened, giving him a curious look. She circled around him, sniffing him, Spike frozen in fear.

She opened her mouth, making him twitch, but she licked him, giving a rumbling purr from her chest. She gave a snort, slowly slithering away to go into the water. Her tail disappeared with her, Spike giving a curious glance. He gave one last look, before diving into the water. His gills opened up, starting to swim through the underwater cavern.

Foals giggled as they rode the bus. Japony was lively, stallions and mares walking the busy streets. Small thumps hit the ground, but no one noticed them. A little foal was playing with a saurian creature. Large, white, maple leaf like spinal plates ran down it's neck to the tip of it's tail, white fangs out it's mouth. It had brown eyes, four clawed hands, and scales, as black as the night.

The filly played with it, giggling, making it battle a turtle of the same size. She made roaring sounds, making the dinosaur and turtle crash into each other. Suddenly, the ground shook, making a few glasses rattle. She shrugged off the shaking, then another followed, then another. She looked outside, still holding the saurian, when the shaking stopped. She opened her mouth, filling her lungs with air. She then released it.

"SHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!"

The filly gave a confused look, her own play roar muted by the real one. She looked outside, then gasped in surprise; there stood the saurian. It's eyes, however, were filled with red and yellow. It gave an inhale, then opened it's snake look maw, releasing another shriek of rage. It moved forward, standing at 278 feet tall, it's tail raised off the ground a little, before it slammed into a bus, crushing it.

It's red eyes started to glow blue, it opening it's jaws, a bright light appearing in it's jaws. It's spinal plates spurred to life, glowing neon blue, before it gave a long exhale, radiation exploding out, hitting multiple buildings, burning them, melting all the metal and making a few explode. It gave another shriek, before explosions hit it's side, making it give an annoyed growl. It's eyes glowed blue again, it's spinal plates doing the same, before letting the blue 'flames' flow from its jaws.

Once the tanks were destroyed, it started it's slow walk forward, crushing cars and buildings underneath it. The small filly was taken away by here two mothers, the city evacuating. The large saurian punched a skyscraper in front of it, giving a loud roar as it did so. Soldiers fired their weapons at it, but it did no damage, only aiding the creature's fury.

It swept it's tail, taking lives of the soldiers. It raised it's maw to the sky and let loose a roar of rage. This creature was familiar, however, it was smaller, had rows of serrated teeth like a shark, and was a little clumsy and slow.

"SREEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNK!"

Three, large, black spinal plates cut through the ocean's waves easily, the owner not caring. The large dinosaur suddenly stopped, raising his head from the water. A giant, bear like maw opened a little, giving a growl of anger, gills decorating his neck. Grey scaled decorated his thousand ton body, large arms, like a primates, held four clawed fingers, it's legs thick, like a tree stump. A large tail swished around behind his, raising from the water for a moment.

Eyes, which were emerald green, now slowly turned to yellow, held eons of knowledge and wisdom, as well as anger, and pain. However, protectiveness flared out the most, making him give a loud growl. He shook some water off, his muscles and scale shifting a little. In his massive mind, he held off his old objective, replacing it with a new one. Find IT.

He gave a snort, fumes of radiation exploding from it's nostrils, giving a look of anger. IT had returned. IT was destroying the things he was protecting. IT was making him angry. IT would feel the fury of a God. IT would meet Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.

He inhaled deeply, air filling his large lungs. Large scale on his chest were shown, before his yellow eyes glared towards a random direction. It then opened it's bear like maw, shaking the very heavens, being able to be heard for miles.

"SHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGNGNGNGNGNGNGNNNNNNNNNNN!"

Pinkie Pie suddenly shivered, bouncing for a moment, before returning to normal. Applejack noticed it, giving a curious look. "What it is, Pinkie?"

Pinkie shrugged, giving her usual grin. "Dunno, must be really big though."

Pinkie suddenly followed the group, Applejack following behind. twilight's mind was filled with worry and doubt, having seen Spike's change. She gave a shudder, seeing the massive saurian he'd turn into. He wasn't a dragon, that was for certain, or, at least not fully a dragon. That creature he turned into...it looked like a mix of a Tyrannosaurus, Iguanadon, Stegosaurus, and a bear. It stood upwards, maybe stand at 70 feet or more, and gave a look of pure anger.

Suddenly, a gasp was given, catching her attention. Twilight looked over to see Rarity, glaring at the kilts some stallions were wearing.

"Why are you all wearing skirts?" She asked, making one of the stallions growl unhappily.

"Lass, we be wearing kilts, not tha Equestrian skirt. Thought ya'd figure it out, and it took ya this long. And they say we be tha drunk ones." the other stallions laughed, the thick, Prottish accent clearly showing.

While they were distracted, three rows of emerald green spikes emerged from the water, in clear view, had any of them paid attention. It suddenly started to swim towards the forest, though, Fluttershy noticed the spinal plates. She didn't say anything though, thinking she was seeing things.
