Godzilla Returns

A large roar followed out as a giant squid like animal, with legs attacked the town. He sniffed the air, wanting to have his favorite food; tar. He growled in happiness as he found a fresh batch, and started to feed on. He then sniffed the air again, and roared, going back into the ocean, disappearing.

A large dragon like reptile followed, it's dark purple scales and green spines making him look fierce. It suddenly changed it's color to blue, and roared at the water, enraged it couldn't follow it's target. "DAMMIT!"

Suddenly, the large, Godzilla like creature turned away, then ran into the suburban jungle, changing it's scales and spines to match the buildings as it escaped.

"Sir, we found the creature! It's somewhere near Manehatten, when it was first spotted. But, this one could change it's colors, and it didn't damage anything unless you count the foot prints on the ground." A royal guard said, then, a unicorn with a blue mane smashed his fist on the table in anger.

"Alright, inform Celestia. There's more than one of these creatures. And, how do we explain the tar going missing? These creatures wouldn't need to use tar, why is it missing though?" The unicorn said, his name was Shining Armor.

"Well, one of the creatures was found eating tar. It was squid like, but it had two legs, the had split jaw, which shows the evidence of a squid mutation." The commander said, then, Shining sighed in annoyance.

"How come when I want a vacation, something shitty happens?" Shining asked himself.

"Don't know sir. When should we head out?"

"Tomorrow, we'll go tomorrow. We should look for the creature then. Right now, I need to rest, Celestia damn mutations giving me a headache." Shining replied, muttering some curses under his breath.

Meanwhile, somewhere near Ponyville.

A large three toed clawed foot hit the ground, causing some trees to be flattened. He then returned to his regular form, his purple scales standing out from every part of the Everfree Forest.

He then walked out, smiling as his fangs glistened. "Hopefully Twi doesn't know I'm gone."

Behind him, though, a large reptile followed underground.

Zilla got up from the ground, sniffing the air. She was big, compared to ponies, but not big enough to show under the cover of the trees. Her large spike like sails scraping across the highest branches of some trees, while sometimes they just broke off lower branches.

She growled in curiosity once she caught a dragon's scent, and started to follow, her tail whipping around, hitting some trees behind her. She's been following this scent all the way from Manehatten, and found her target.

She knew that she wouldn't be able to follow his scent through any populated areas, less she frighten the strange creatures here.

"He smells familiar." Zilla said, seeing Spike walk out of the Everfree forest, and towards a town populated by the strange human like creatures. "I'll find out what he is later. Right now though, I need to rest." Zilla said, digging her way underground.

A large squid like creature came out of the shadows, and snarled, seeing the populated town, and started to head towards it.
