Shining sighed, paperwork on his desk. He was a king of the Crystal Empire. Doesn't mean he's not the captain of the guard. He looked at the pictures, when a knock interrupted his thoughts.

"Come in." Shining said, and the door opened, to show a male Drake.

"Sir." The red dragon saluted.

"At ease. What is it?" Shining asked, impatient.

"Some strange dragoness said there's a big problem." The Drake said, looking at the file in his hand.

"How big?" Shining asked, looking at the Drake. He heard a whisper. "Speak up, Garble! How big?"

Garble looked the captain straight in the eye. Shining had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"Big enough to level half of Manehatten in one night."

Shining rushed to his meeting, fists clenched.

'What in the world is BIG or STRONG enough to level half of one of the biggest cities on Equis?'

"Captain, nice to see you." A voice rang.

Shining realized he was standing in front of the briefing room. A female dragon smiled at him.

"You can go in." She said, inclining her M16 to the door.

"Thank you, Jewel." Shining armor said, making the dragoness smile.

She had light purple scales. Her baby blue eyes and slitted irises showed joy. Her forest green spikes and underbelly reminded Shining of his brother, Spike. She had a athletic figure, making her stand out from the normal dragonesses.

Shining entered through the doors to see another dragoness. Her white scales, and light blue spikes were normal. Her eyes, however, stood out from her body.

They were dark red.

"Nice to see you captain." The strange draconian said, smiling.

Shining grunted, and sat down. Leaders ranging from dragons to Buffalo stood at the table.

"What you're about to hear will shock you. This is a even bigger threat than this 'Zilla' you speak of."

A few leaders shifted uncomfortably.

The female dragon cleared her throat. A projection showed strange spikes coming out of the water.

"Around the 1940's, dragons and ponies made a public announcement that they're using uninhibited islands for nuclear and magical tests. This was a lie."

Suddenly, a few of the veterans felt the gaze of the confused leaders. The dragoness cleared her throat again, gaining their attention.

"They awoken something...and tried to kill it." The dragoness paused, staring at the leaders. "We have thought that we controlled nature, bent it around our hands. Never, have we thought the other way around."

"That's impossible! We have the best weapons in the history of everyone, and you're saying 'Nature' has made a powerful weapon? Something doesn't add up." A Minotaur exclaimed, making some others nod.

"Maybe something destroyed half of the city?" A voice suggested.

Suddenly, a fist slammed against the table, scaring everyone in the room. Shining, glad that he interrupted the argue meant got up.

"You're not convincing anybody." He spoke, looking at all of them.

"You're lying." Another leader challenged. A Zebra this time.

"This wasn't a earthquake, this wasn't a typhoon! Whatever is out there is going to send us back to the stone ages!"

Everyone was silent, looking at Shining Armor. He sighed, then saw the projection show what the creature looked like.

"Sweet Celestia." Shining muttered, seeing the picture of the animal now.

"I was right."

All the leaders turned to him.

"It will send us back to the stone ages if we don't do anything about it."

---Manehatten---

A paper flittered around some rubble. A building, barely standing, had large claw marks on it. Other buildings fell, the metal groaning as they tried to hold up with what little strength they had.

A figure, wearing a cloak, stood on some rubble. It looked around, before glancing at the buildings.

A large growl came from the figure. Suddenly, a large gust hit the figure, to show a Zebra, female, staring at a new smoke cloud.

Suddenly, something massive moved, it's shadowy form giving the female shivers. A clawed hand moved through the cloud, spikes showing as well. The large beast turned slowly, and looked to the air. It opened it's maw, the dust clouding all the details but the outline.

"SHREEEEEEEEEEEENNNNGGGGGGGG!"

Zilla opened her eyes, lifting her head.

"Something wrong?" Spike asked, leaning against her side.

"I don't know. Something feels...off." Zilla said, her eyes staring ahead. She suddenly shifted, and looked at Spike. "You may continue you're story."

Spike smiled, and opened his mouth, ready to continue, when a scream interrupted them.

A pink blur shot by, landing on Zilla's snout. "Hiya, I'm Pinkie Pie."

Zilla flinched, but growled softly. "Why are you here little one?"

"My Pinkie Sense is going crazy, so I was like-" A cough interrupted her.

"Pinks, mind giving her some personal space?"

Pinkie giggled, but hopped off.
