My name is Sparkling Autumn. I am the only child of Celestia. Although, between you and me, she's wanting another child, perferably a stallion. Joy.

I am a pegasus. Might surprise you, since Celestia's an alicorn. Our theory is that you must earn your wings our horn. That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Why? Because I am to be the next princess of the sun. Pretty far fetched, huh?

Taking the advice of Princess Twilight, I decided to learn what friendship is by moving to Ponyville. Who knows? I may find the true magic of friendship!

I looked over the edge of the golden chariot I was riding on. I could see the splendid view of blooming wildlife. A forest full with creatures from predator, to prey. I smiled, and thought about what Mother had taught me. "Wildlife is what makes Equestria bloom. It holds our hearts with the thought that there are creatures just like us, except a different species," she would say. I brushed my wild orange mane back when it came into my face. The annoying things about wind.

You may be wondering who I am. My name is Sparkling Autumn. I am a mare with wavy orange hair (sometimes it has yellow streaks in it). My body is like my mother's, being as white as a swan. Who is my mother? My mother is the grace of all ponies. The one who does what's best for them. Princess Celestia. I only call her that when I'm really mad. It does happen.

I turned over to my pet. He sat there with his head held high. He was enjoying the wind in his fur. I smiled.

"You silly little ocelot. You must be excited to finally get out of the castle!" I laughed. My ocelot nodded before returning to his enjoyment. I stretched out my wings. I could just mess around and fly overhead the chariot. But the drivers, two royal guards, would freak out and they may loss my pet. So I was forced to keep my ground. We were to arrive in ten minutes. Ten minutes of waiting with my wings tucked in. The only entertainment for me was the glorious view.
