Chapter 1: Rude Awakening
Clop, clop, clop... The sound of hooves running down the street echoed throughout all of Ponyville. Twilight tossed and turned in her bed, nightmares filling her dreams. Light filled up the dusty old library as a dark silhouette filled the open doorway, as the door creaked open. The silhouette approached the sleeping alicorn.
"TWILIGHT! TWILIGHT, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!"
The purple mare shot up, her wings POMF-ing and she jumped up, dangling from the ceiling like a cat.
"Twilig- woah... You okay?"
"BANI WHAT THE BUCK?! I WAS SLEEPING! YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!" Twilight fluttered down from the wooden stump of a ceiling which now had cracks running through. She sighs and continues: "Bani? What was sooo important that you had to come here in the middle of the night to possible come sand TELL ME!?"
The silhouette pulled down her black hoodie, her spikey aqua mane poking through. Her sea foam green eyes shone through the darkness her shadow.
"Sorry Twilight, I was just- uh... Look, I came here because I sensed something was wrong."
"....What?"
The white mare put a hoof on Twilight's shoulder. "Twilight, something isn't right... and I need you to help.
"B-Bani, I don't... I mean.... -huh? My help?" she stammered.
Bani Iceheart took Twilight's hoof. "C'mon Twi, use those wings of your's and let's go!" Taking off, Twilight dragged behind, surprised by the sudden flight.
"Woah! BANI!" she stumbled and soon got the hang of her wings, she now flew side by side with the Pegasus.
Bani.... what is the problem, and what are you hiding?....
