Vektor had had enough. For days he had been the target of a harmless joke.
Harmless to everypony else at least. Nopony had noticed how he felt about it. They hadn't noticed his angry glances toward them when he overheard them talking about it. Or his frowns when he saw that the joke had spread even farther the next day.
Now, this joke. It was harmless. Completely harmless. Simply it was a sexual joke referencing a couch in the main room of Vektor's school that went like this, "What's the difference between the couch and Vektor? The couch pulls out."
Nopony else would have taken it the way Vektor did. He shouldn't have even taken it the way he did. He knew this, but he couldn't fight it. He couldn't deny how he felt. He got irritated and angry. Small jokes like this had angered him all his life. But usually they would die down and he would be able to calm down before it got out of hand.
But this joke had been going on for days.
After a while, people thought this actually to be true. Vektor was a virgin. He had never done anything like that. But, no one would listen and would continue to mock him with their ridiculous joke.
Their harmless little joke.
Tonight, the original creator of the joke, Last Will, was going to be at a program after school along with some of his fan girls who were the main ponies who spread it.
And Vektor would be there too.
Vektor planned to get back at them. All of them. And he would make sure they wouldn't live to see the next day.
He knew this was crazy. He knew he was taking it too far. But, Vektor had gone insane. The constant mocking had caused him to go completely insane. And he knew this. He knew was insane, but he couldn't fight it. He planned horrible things... which he knew was wrong and horrid, but he didn't fight it. He would go through with it.
He walked toward the building where the program was held, holding a pouch on his back. Inside was a knife and a rope. The only things he would need.
When he got to the door, he took a deep breath. Slowly, he opened the door and walked inside.
He walked down a small hallway, before coming to the main meeting room.
This program was simply a hangout spot for teens, and so a small group of mares sat in a cluster around a table
As Vektor walked in, they noticed him.
"Oh, hey Vektor.", Called a brown Earth Pony from the cluster.
"Vektor? Oh the couch kid?! Haha!" Said an uppity looking Unicorn. As she said this, the rest of the group laughed.
They laughed and laughed.
Vektor slowly became irate.
"Where's Last Will?" Vektor asked through clenched teeth,
He just needed them to answer, then he could rid Equestria of these filthy mares once and for all.
"Upstairs, why 'pull out'? Haha!" Said the Unicorn again.
Vektor stared at her.
The group noticed this and became silent, all wondering what Vektor was doing.
Then, in the blink of an eye, he pulled the knife from his satchel and chucked it toward the Unicorn.
Ironically, it was her eye who blinked, as a knife was forced through it.
It stuck in her skull, the tip exposing itself out the back of her head.
She fell to the ground, dying instantly, spraying blood all over her friends.
They screamed and started to run.
Vektor didn't wait another second, flying lightning quick toward his knife, punching a mare in the face on the way, knocking her unconscious. He pulled the knife from the Unicorn's eye, and threw it again, hitting another Unicorn in the back of her knee. She fell, screaming in pain.
The other ponies ran outside and away. Vektor was mad that some had gotten away, but was happy he caught at least half of them.
He flew to the pony he had hit in the knee, pulling the knife from her knee, and then turning her on her back.
She screamed and screamed.
Vektor stood over the downed pony and then started cutting and slashing wildly, spraying blood to all sides of her. She yelled and screamed, but nopony came. The Unicorn's entrails started to show themselves, pushing through the several gashes and cuts and spilling out the sides of her stomach. With one hard lunge, Vektor stuck the knife through this ponies eye also, then pulled it back up and stabbed again and again rapidly, killing the mare.
He stood up, looking toward the Pegasus he knocked out from before.
He slowly walked toward her.
Vektor held the knife close to her throat, then whispered in her ear.
"What's the difference between me and you? I'll be waking up tomorrow morning..."
Then she opened her eyes, and just as she did, Vektor slit her throat. She put her hoof up to her bleeding neck, and gasped for air. Crimson blood poured and spilled from the incision and pooled on the tiled floor.
Vektor left the pony there to die, as he walked up the stairs to find his true target.
After ascending the stairs, he spotted Last Will, sitting on a couch watching television in a room to the left of the stairway.
Quietly, Vektor pulled the rope from his satchel and walked behind the couch.
Last Will didn't notice him there, as he was paying attention to his TV show.
Suddenly, Vektor wrapped the rope around Last Will's neck, and then to a leg on the back of the couch, making sure to be quick and tying it as tight as he could.
He had succeeded. He could see Last Will thrashing and struggling. He could barely breath, and was completely bound just by his neck to the couch.
Vektor walked in front of Last Will, in plain view.
Last Will's eyes grew wide and he stopped struggling.
"Hey there, Will...", Vektor said with a grimace.
"I've got a joke... Haha, it's actually pretty funny...", Vektor held the knife in one hoof and rubbed the blade in the other, wiping the blood from the other ponies off.
"So, what is the difference between you and cheese..."
Vektor didn't wait for a response, he didn't expect one.
"It doesn't scream when I..."
Then, he cut a huge gash in Last Will's face.
"...cut it..."
And, right on cue, Last Will screamed as loud as he could in his condition, which wasn't very loud at all.
Then, Vektor pulled another rope from his pack, and bound Last Will's legs together and then to the bottom of the front of the couch, also making sure this was rope was bound tight.
Vektor took the knife and cut a deep ridge horizontally across Last Will's stomach.
Blood seeped from the gash, and down the scarred pony's body.
He yelled gagged screams.
"Just think of this as... sort of a... guiding trail..."
"To make sure you split just right..."
Vektor said maniacally.
Then he turned around, facing his back to Last Will.
"Now, how did that joke of yours go again...?"
Vektor walked to the side of the couch, next to a lever.
"Oh yes, what's the difference between a couch and I?"
"Would you like to tell me, Will?"
Last Will gurgled and spit, and then finally got a few words out.
"Vek...ter...stop...plea- ackh!"
He couldn't speak any longer, the rope was too tight.
"Would you like to know the difference, Will?!"
"The couch..."
Vektor set his hoof on the lever, and then smiled wickedly.
"...pulls out."
Then, he slammed his hoof down.
A bed sprung with great force out of the couch, severing the pony bound to it in two.
Blood splattered across the whole room, the TV, the walls, even the ceiling.
Guts and pieces of intestine stuck to everything, including Vektor.
Blood spewed from Last Will's mouth, and he made guttural sounds, before finally dying.
Vektor walked down the stairs and back outside, happy with what he had accomplished today. He was on his way to to his marefriend, Strawberry Fizzy's, house. She would be happy to see him one last time, before someone found out what he had done.
He had left the knife in Will's chest after all.
And he had done it on purpose.
