A Night To Remember

Previous Chapter

Cameron's alarm clock woke him up again and he slammed on it. He laid his head back down on the pillow and looked at Rose. She yawned then opened her eyes and stared into Cameron's. She smiled brightly and Cameron raised a brow. "Know what day it is?" She asked. Cameron shook his head. "It's Friday!" She shouted with glee. She got up from the bed and rushed towards the closet. Cameron sat up and stretched his arms out with a yawn.

"And... ugh... why is that so great? I mean yeah its Friday but, I don't know why you're so excited." He replied.

"Because! It's our night out!" She replied. Cameron's day just turned upside down. Ah, fuck me..." He thought. He got up from the bed and walked over to Rose who was rushing back and forth between the closet and the bathroom seeing what she wanted to wear. She rushed past him and Cameron grabbed her arm, she looked at him with worry. "What?" She asked.

"Look, I know it's our night out but-"

"Oh my gosh, you're not canceling it are you?" She asked.

"No. Hell no. But, I just don't see the point of being so excited." He replied.

"Well it's our first night out with friends, and I just wanted it to be special!" She said.

"I guess that makes sense..." Cameron mumbled. Rose giggle and tapped him on the nose while walking into the bathroom. She closed the door behind her and locked it and turned on the shower. Cameron shrugged and sat down at the desk and turned on the laptop. He messed around on the internet until Rose was finished. He heard her turn off the shower and step out. He heard her grunt a few times and then sigh in frustration.

"Cameron! Could help you me?" She called. Cameron's eyes narrowed and darted in every direction.

"Uh! With what?!" He called back.

"I need help with my bra!" Cameron's eyes widened.

"So you're telling me you can't put on a bra anymore?" He asked.

"Just help me please!" She shouted. Cameron sighed and stood up then walked over to the door. He put his hand on the doorknob and turned it slowly.

"This better not be some sorta trick." He said walking in slowly. He saw Rose with a towel around her holding it close to her chest. She looked at him and handed him the bra.

"Don't worry silly. Just help me." She replied. Cameron walked behind her and Rose let the towel drop to the floor revealing her luscious body. Cameron blushed deeply then quickly looked away. He heard Rose giggle and he began to put the bra on. Once the bra covered her breasts he turned towards the mirror.

"So... uh... This seems... awkward..." Cameron said nervously.

"Hardly. Remember last time?" She asked.

"Yeeeaaahhhh- don't remind me." He replied. Rose laughed and backed into him causing him to gasp. She gasped also and quickly moved forward.

"Sorry..." She said innocently. Cameron stayed silent for the rest of this moment. He finished putting her bra on and quickly walked out of the room, and Rose sighed then closed the door behind him. Rose finished putting on her clothes and walked out of the bathroom. Cameron glanced at her once, then twice, then got lost in her. She was wearing a red dress that had a skirt that covered her legs and she had a rose just above her left breast, she let her long red beautiful hair flow down her body. Cameron sighed at her and Rose blushed lightly. Cameron stood up and walked over to her slowly.

"Well don't you look gorgeous..." He sighed. Rose's blush deepened and she looked away.

"Oh, shut up and get in the shower so we can go already!" She shouted jokingly. Cameron chuckled and walked into the bathroom. He finished his shower quickly and put on a plain white Button Up shirt and a casual black coat with some old dress shoes and dress pants. He let his hair grow out over time so it was longer than before. He just combed his hair straight and walked out of the bathroom. Rose looked at him and giggled. "Well don't you look handsome!" She shouted teasingly.

"Oh, be quiet you and lets go already!" He shouted back laughing.

They both walked out of the dorm room and down to the Green Forest Cafe where Bon-Bon and Lyra would meet them. They turned the corner and saw them standing there waiting for them. Bon-Bon saw Cameron and waved lightly while blushing slightly. Cameron waved back with his own little blush and Bon-Bon giggled.

"Hey!" Lyra shouted.

"Whats up!" Cameron shouted back. They walked over to each other and they all exchanged hugs. "So, wheres our transportation?" He asked. Just at that moment a limo pulled up around the corner and the driver quickly got out and opened the door for them. "You gotta be shitting me..."

They walked over to the limo and entered. It was all fancy inside and it had wine with the leather seats. The driver closed the door and walked back over to the drivers seat and started the car. It took a little while for them to reach that fancy place that they were going to. They pulled up in front of it and exited the limo. The limo driver walked over to them and Cameron stopped in front of him.

"Hey, uh you don't happen to havey an business cards or something do ya? I could use those for an emergency." Cameron asked. The driver nodded and pulled a card out of his right breast pocket and handed it to him. Cameron nodded while wiping a bit of dust off the driver's shoulder in respect then walking off.

They entered the building then got their reservations, a man escorted them to a table where they all took a seat. They ordered their food and the waiter walked off with their menu. Cameron sat there bored out of his mind playing games on his phone while hiding his hands and phone under the table. He sighed and closed his phone.

So, who's paying?" He asked. The girls looked at each other and then at Cameron. "Well fuck..." He sighed. He then heard a crashing sound and food fell all over him. The waitress gasped.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry I just didn't know what happened." She said.

"Nah, it's okay. Shit happens, right?" Cameron asked holding in a ear splitting scream for there was a baked potato baking his right knee. He stood up and looked at his shirt. "Do you know where the bathroom is?" Cameron asked, "I need to get this steak sauce off of me."

"Yes, down that was and then make a left and it will be right there." The waitress replied.

"Thanks." Cameron said looking at the waitress. She had blonde hair with golden eyes, but her eyes had a certain, "derp" expression. Cameron nodded then walked off towards the bathroom. He grabbed a paper towel and put water on it then tried to scrub the steak sauce off. "Gah, this stain's a bigger bitch than I thought." He mumbled. He threw the paper towel away then fixed his coat while walking out of the bathroom. He walked past the kitchen but heard someone being screamed at. He looked through the two circular windows to see the same waitress being yelled by who appeared to be the manager.

"THAT IS THE LAST STRAW, CUSTOMERS ARE LEAVING BECAUSE OF YOUR CLUMSINESS!!!" He boomed.

"I'm so sorry sir, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong." She cried.

"SORRY?!?! YOU REALLY ARE A BITCH AREN'T YOU?!?!" He insulted her. Cameron felt a rush of rage through his body. "I SHOULD FIRE YOU RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!!!"

"No! Please sir I need this job! I don't know what I would do if you fired me."

"YOU CAN GO OFF TO THE STREETS, THAT'S WHAT YOU CAN DO!!!" He yelled. He then raised is arm and there was loud slapping sound throughout the kitchen. All of the chefs turned to see the waitress on the floor crying her eyes out.

"That's IT!" Cameron growled. The manager raised his arms to smack her again. He jerked his hand, but it didn't move. He turned to see Cameron with his arm firmly grasped around his arm. "I think that's enough..." He said coldly.

"WHO ARE YOU?!?! ARE YOU STUPID?!?! THE SIGN SPECIFICALLY SAID, "EMPLOYEES ONLY", DID YOU NOT NOTICE IT?!?!" He shouted.

"I think I did, I'm not fucking blind asswipe." Cameron replied coldly.

The manager ripped his hand from Cameron's grasp and turned his body towards him. "YOU THINK YOU CAN COME IN HERE AND INSULT ME?!?! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!" He boomed.

"An asshole." Cameron replied with a smirk. The manager raised his hand and balled it up to punch Cameron in the face. He jabbed at Cameron, but Cameron was quick and dodged it. The manager's fist went flying into the oven where he burned his arm. He screamed in pain and fell on the floor grasping is arm. Cameron tsked. He knelt down to the manger's level and sighed. "Didn't your dad teach you how to pick your fights?" He asked then walked over to the waitress. She still sat there crying. She looked up at Cameron who was holding his hand out. She took his hand and he pulled her up.

"Thank you." She aid wrapping him in a tight hug.

"It was nothing really." Cameron replied. The waitress released him and stepped back. Then they both heard a clapping sound. They looked to their right to see a man in an a REALLY expensive suit and a monocle clapping at the doorway. He stepped inside still clapping then stopped. He put a hand on Cameron's shoulder.

"Well done. The name's Bruce, but everyone just calls me, "Fancy-Pants". He said with a smirk.

"Thanks. And the name's Cameron, everyone USED to call me "Little Susie" when I was young because of my long hair." Cameron replied with a smirk of his own. Bruce laughed then took his monocle off his eye and he grabbed a handkerchief from his right breast pocket and cleaned off the monocle then placed it on his eye again. He looked down to the manager who was lying there in pain.

"Arlington." He said.

"Yes Bruce?" He asked standing up immediately.

"You're fired. Now get out of my restaurant." He stated coldly.

"But sir-"

"Now, Arlington." Arlington sighed then walked out of the kitchen. "By the way. I own the place." Bruce stated to Cameron.

"Cool." He replied.

"Thank you for helping out my waitress, but now; I've got work to do." Bruce said walking off.

"The name's Ditzy by the way." The waitress said. Cameron looked at her and smiled lightly.

"Well, your welcome Ditzy." He said walking out of the kitchen. He walked back to the table and saw Lyra stand up and look at him.

"What took ya so long?" She asked with a slur to her voice. Cameron raised a brow and then noticed the empty wine glass in her right hand.

Makes sense. He thought. "Sorry, the stain wouldn't come off." He lied.

"Well come on lets go I'm ready to go." Bon-Bon said standing up. Everyone but Cameron and Rose stumbled out of the building. Cameron was walking towards the entrance when he felt someone pinching his let shoulder. He turned to see Ditzy standing there.

"Hi. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to repay you." She said.

"Nah, it's nothing really. But thanks though." He replied.

"But there has to some way I could." She persisted.

"Really, no thanks, I was just-" Cameron's eyes widened as he saw Ditzy quickly press her lips against Cameron's. She pulled away then blushed lightly and walked away with a giddy smile on her face. Cameron stood there wondering what the fuck just happened.

"Having a nice little chat with the waitress there? I mean seriously whats with you and waitresses?" Rose asked glaring at Cameron. He looked at her then sighed.

"Rose it's not what it looked like, she was trying to repay me, i said no and she just, took me by surprise." He replied. Rose sighed and looked away shamefully.

"Just admit it Cameron. You'd never get with me." She said sitting on the steps. Now it was Cameron's time to glare.

"Now don't you think that, not even for a second." He replied putting a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at him with a few tears rolling down her cheeks. Cameron pulled her up and brought her face to his. Cameron wrapped his arms around her hips and leaned in and pressed his lips against Rose's. Rose's eyes closed as she placed her hands on Cameron's shoulders and returned the kiss. Cameron pulled away and took Rose's hand in his. They caught up with Bon-Bon and Lyra and walked down the sidewalk. Just then a scruffy looking man bumped into Cameron.

"Hey! Watch where you're go-" Cameron then gasped as he felt around in his pockets to feel that his wallet was no longer there. "Hey! Get back here!" He shouted. The man took off running and booked it down the street. "Aw, HELL NO!!!" Cameron shouted sprinting down the street after the man. Cameron took track for 3 years in middle school and high school, so he was guaranteed to catch up. The scruffy man - thinking he had escaped - looked through the wallet until her heard, Tap-tap-tap-Tap-TAP-TAP!!! He looked behind him to see Cameron coming at him as a blur.

"OH SHI- AUGH!!!" He shouted as he was tackled to the ground. Cameron grabbed his wallet and looked up to see another scruffy looking man with a bat in his hands approaching Cameron. Cameron raised his arms to defend himself but his vision became a blur. His vision returned shortly but then he didn't know what happened. One second his was pushing himself up, the next he had his arms wrapped around his head trying to defend himself as two more men began beating him up. One of them pulled a gun and pointed it at Cameron. Everything went blank. Cameron didn't feel anything.

Maybe he missed me... Cameron thought. He opened his eyes to see red and blue lights flashing as the men were being handcuffed. One of the police officers walked up to Cameron and rolled him over on his back.

"Shit- hang on man just a little longer." He said. "GET A MEDIC!" He shouted. Cameron coughed up a bit of blood and turned his head to the right to see Rose, Lyra and Bon-Bon looking at Cameron in horror as the police officers held them back from the crime scene. Then he passed out.
