The Derpy Games: Catching Muffins

My mom tells me the story of when I was born.

"Ok sweetie! The day you were born your dad came downstairs and asked me why I was groaning so much!" (Flash back.)

"Sweetie could you quiet down! I am working!" he said as he keeps working. Then I groans again. I keeps groaning until finally her water breaks.

"Uh honey!" I yells. He flies downstairs and he looks at me. I am sweating like crazy. He get's me on a bus and he tells the stallion to drive. He then pays him extra. Time and I are sitting in the back until the bus stops at a hospital.

"Nurse we need an emergency room stat!" says Time. The nurse brings me into an emergency room and gives me the shot in my back.

"Ok sweetie this may hurt for the first couple seconds!" says the nurse. "NOW PUSH!" she says it over and over again. I finally push the baby out! It was a baby boy, with brown fur, my color hair, but his dads shape, and his dad's eyes. but then when I am about to be finished sweating the nurse looks at me.

"Ok now we have to wait a couple minuets for the next one!" I smile at her and then I think about what she said. Gladly enough my husbands in the hallway.

"Next one?" I ask. The nurse nods at me. I start to cry. Then it's time. I push, and push and push! Until finally a baby filly comes out. Wow fraternal twins! Time comes in when the nurse tells him to. He sees me with the filly in my wing. He kisses her on the head. Then he sees the boy in my other wing. He gasps.

"Uh sweetie!? Why do we have two!" he asks me. Then I smile at him and derp.

"Uh surprise?" I tell him and then he faints. (Flash back ends.)

"And that's how your were born!" she says to me. I look at her and then at my brother. He sighs and then hears dad coming inside.

"Dad!" he yells and he goes up to hug him. My sister Dinky comes downstairs. She sees her father and she hugs him. i stay with mommy. She then puts me on her head and she fly's over to dad and we have a big group hug.

"OK! Mom now!?" says my brother. She nods her head and he runs off to the stove we got for my mom winning the Equestrian Games! he starts making his delicious coffee which he got his cutie mark for just yesterday. Sparkler, my sister, comes downstairs and kisses all of us. Her cutie mark is three diamonds and Dinky's is four stars! She is really good with her magic! My cutie mark, is nothing. I think it may be a chocolate muffin because i am good at making muffins, but i just started yesterday so it hasn't come yet. When Dinky get's mad at me she calls me talentless, so mommy sends her to her room.

"Mommy can I be the first to try it!" I say with a smile. She nods and Coffee gives me a taste. He is a good big brother, but her can be mean!

"Muffin we are going hunting today, wanna come!?" she asks me. I look at her and smile.

"YES!" I yell. She smiles and lifts me on her head. Coffee and daddy stay home, so it's just the girls! My mommy, and I fly down to the ground and the other girls teleport. Then we step into the ever free forest. I jump bounce in. Then I feel a chill up my spine. I bounce back to mommy. The Ever free isn't natural! We hunt and hunt. We find herbs, and food. Then we go home.

"That was great mommy!" I say. My mom kisses me, and we all go to sleep.

"Hello?" I ask in a strange fuzzy place.

"Muffin! NO!" I hear mommy screaming.

"Mommy?" I ask. She runs through me and then says some thing. She volunteers? Now I know where I am. I am in the day where mommy went into the Equestira games. I see my older sister crying, but she is younger! She is my age twelve! I know this won't happen to me. It's the Quarter Quell tomorrow! Then I teleport to a place. My mommy's old cottage. I see Dinky and daddy crying. Then I see mommy going into a hover craft.

"NOO!" I scream. Then my whole family comes in.

"What is it sweetie?" asks mom. I am crying now.

"It was the day you went to the Equestrian Games!" I say as I sniff. "A-and you volunteered, but when it was ending you died and I saw you going into the hovercraft. I cry more and mommy shushes me. I am put back to bed and then I don't dream any more. I wake up the next morning and my face is stuck to the pillow. I drop in. Then I walk down stairs, but it was strange. There was no coffee boiling, and every pony was crying.

"Um Muffin." says my mom.

"Muffin you have to go into the Equestrian Games." says my dad.

"But w-why?" I ask.

"This morning, President Moon picked up the Quarter Quell note, and it said all the victors children." I start to cry. Then I run outside.

"Muffin please!" says mommy, but I don't listen. It is snowing. I fly over to the old ware house and land on the ground.

"I can't run from fate, for if I do I shall be killed." I think to my self. Then I sleep on the cold floor. Dreaming of how I will die.
