As the portals poped up around equestria Chrysalis and her Newly built army or changelings were looking for the next town to change into a changeling town

Chrysalis : We will grow our army into many then attack the crystal empire ponyville, cloudsdale, and then canterlot and we will have all of EQUESTRIA

as chrysalis talks to her leader of the changeling army
