So I read chapter 29 of MLM:AtE and felt like this would be a good chance for me to start writing little one-off combat scenes, because I kind of wanted to do something like that and felt inspired.
There aren't really any spoilers, but if you're reading this there's no reason you haven't read Journeyman's story yet, which is actually good! Seriously, check out that guy, he does cool stuff.
Anyway, this tiny little scene is a much more combat-oriented hypothetical scene set when the ponies and the Miner are heading back up the tunnels, and the Diamond Dogs come back with reinforcements. Written from Miner's perspective.
This fic was literally inspired, written, and posted in about an hour, at 4-5 o' clock in the morning, because I have insomnia and read to pass the time sometimes. So please don't expect something incredibly well thought out and such. Also, first published fic, so yeah.
