Problems with Priorities
When Luna returned home, she was greeted by her older sister, Celestia.
“Greetings sister, what has kept you out this late?” Celestia asked.
“Tenebres and I were having a great time together.” Luna answered.
Then Luna turned to her sister and said with a smile, “Do you suppose that he is the one?”
“The one?” Celestia asked.
“Come on, you know, my soul mate?” Luna added.
“Dearest sister, I think that Tenebres seems like a fine young Pegasus, but I think we have much more pressing concerns,” Celestia stated.
“Like what?” Luna questioned.
“Well for starters, Discord is still a huge issue. I believe that if we gather the ancient elements of harmony, we can use them to imprison Discord in stone.” Celestia reminded her sister.
“Why does everypony care about Discord?! Yes, he's a terrible ruler who only cares about himself and ruining the lives of others but I don't think that we can do anything about it! Why don't we just stop worrying about him and focus on better things?!” Luna angrily snapped at her sister.
“Luna, I can understand your love for Tenebres, but I think that we should focus on stopping Discord.” Celestia said as she tried to calm her sister.
“No, that's your problem, Celestia. You only care about yourself! You're just as bad as Discord when it comes to that. I'm sorry, sister but I am through with you for tonight. We will discuss this in the morning!”
Princess Luna went into her bedroom and slammed the door shut.

The Starry Night
Long ago, the land known as Equestria was ruled by the demon known as Discord. Discord kept Equestria in a state of madness and disorder. Despite the chaos, the ponies still made the best of things. Two notable ponies who lived in Equestria during this time were two alicorns named Celestia and Luna, who were both young filly's at this time. Celestia and Luna were the only known alicorn filly's but everypony was still treated as equal. Princess Luna's best friend was a male pegasus named Tenebres. Luna and Tenebres played together a lot. They chased eachother through the land and flew together through the night sky. As time went on, they got closer together. Tenebres hoped that he would marry Luna one day. Unbeknownst to him, Luna had the same desire.
One night, the two stopped under a tree. Tenebres nuzzled Luna's neck and said,
“Luna my darling, understand that I will do anything to protect you, even if it means laying down my own life or standing up to Discord.”
Horrified by the very thought of losing her loved one, Luna said,
“Don't talk that way, dearest. We don't have to worry about Discord. He is not our concern, so we don't have to worry about him. The very thought of him just sickens me.
“Me as well, now let's stop thinking about him,” Tenebres answered.
“Sounds like an excellent idea,” Luna said.
The two ponies then looked up at the night sky. As they gazed, Luna said,
“The stars are beautiful, the way they shine through the night.”
“They really are,” Tenebres responded. He then turned to his love and asked,
“Which one is your favorite?”
Luna thought about it, then she pointed her hoof into the night and answered, “That one right there, directly to the left of the full moon.”
Tenebres looked from Luna to the star and then looked back at Luna.
“Yeah...... very pretty,” he said.
The two ponies then shared a kiss under the starry sky and then went back to their homes.
