It seemed as though a billion thoughts raged through her mind. Looking up, the superstar glanced up at the stars, which were no more than darkened blurs of light to her, in her trademark sunglasses that she wore all the time, even at night.
She let out a long sigh, casting her gaze downwards, her head drooping. Tears began to gather at the base of her eyes, threatening to spill. They were burning hot with anger, but freezing cold with sadness.
Beneath her hooves was a piece of crumpled paper, the words smeared over time. She had planned to send it to her older brother several years ago, but she doubted he would care, if he even remembered her.
The letter was nothing important, more a note, really. It held five words, a comma, a period, and her name. There were more like it, longer ones, too, but they never got sent, either, and most likely never would.
She trotted around nervously on her balcony. The thoughts inside of her mind threatened to cause the tears to spill, her breath began to jitter as horrible thoughts penetrated her mind, horrible, awful thoughts that she never wanted to think about.
'I want to-No, I need to tell him.' She thought to herself, her frustration causing her to whisper angrily,
"I need to tell her, too! Celestia almighty, these things will never get sent. . ."
She shook her head, letting her blue spiky mane get tossed to the side, before walking inside, leaving the note to fly away or get rained on, it didn't matter to her.
