Twilight Sparkle read through the passage in the old book one last time to make sure she got it right. To her side sat her friends, with different expressions on their faces ranging from fear, in Fluttershy's case, to excitement and curiosity in Pinkie's. Ahead of her sat a dog, cat, alligator, owl, bunny, and tortoise. She focused and her horn began to glow, a beam of light shot from the appendage and surrounded the pets in a purple glow. They looked around and at each other, but said nothing.
