Loving the Other Princess
Meeting
Load Full StoryLuna's Heart was broken. Well, more like she though it was broken. Ponies would just say that because she was a filly, that everything would seem unfair to her. But she knew better. Everypony didn't care about her and her night, if Celestia hadn't given her the trouble of having to work the night, maybe ponies would like her. Also she would be able to play with somepony, she had to sleep in the day so she could stay awake at night. She had no friends, and everypony hated her. Well, she thought everypony.
She ran down the Canterlot castle halls with tears rushing down her face. Another group of ponies had made fun of her because nopony like her night. As she ran out the big, wooden doors to her night, she felt the sharp, fall air nip at her nose. The guards tried to catch her, but she quickly flew off. This is how she spent most of her nights. Running off, crying. Her sister too often would be asleep, but her sister was young and foolish. Celestia pushed Luna into the shadows.
Luna looked down at the houses of all the ponies who slept. Some teenage ponies would be out, messing around and getting into trouble. They were always out in the night. Luna used to think that they would enjoy her night, but was wrong as they too joined the bandwagon of hating her.
She soon was too tired to fly, and her crying didn't help her. So she landed on a hill near ponyville. And put her head under her arm.
She cried for a couple minutes, then looked up to the night sky. "You were the only one mommy." she choked "Why did you have to leave?" She then went back to her crying
"Are you OK?" A voice asked behind Luna.
