A Ditzy Adventure

I picked up the spoonful of the Tomato soup and brought it to my lips.

"This is really good soup grandpa!" I told my Grandpa who was sitting across from me.

"Sally Ann here made it!" He said looking at his new wife.

'Sally Ann..' I thought to myself 'She thinks she can replace my Grandma Cherry Twinkle after all these years.. well' i looked at her with a smile and she smiled back ' SHE CANT' i said to myself looking at her.

"So Ditzy Darling" She said to me, breaking the silence. " How is your art profession doing?. Hmm?  I still think you should be in Technology like me." She smiled at me like she was SO innocent.

"Yes my art is very good. I have been interested more in it sense you came here!" I told her with an evil smirk

'DITZY SKETCH! STOP THIS INSTANT!" My dad, Penn shouted at me.

"Yes" she told me "That's no way to treat your grandmother." she told me

"Your not my grandmother" I mumbled to myself. My big sister nudged me.

"What darling? I cant here you.." She gave me a frown  " I don't think anybody did."

" YOUR NOT MY GRANDMOTHER" I screamed at her

" Ditzy." My mother Photo shine said.

"NO MOTHER! You know just as well she isn't. You too dad!. They didn't reply

"Well darl-"

"Stop calling me that!" i told her " You wont ever be my Grandmother nobody but Cherry will!"

"Well" She started and stood up "Cherry Twinkle is gone and I am here now so YOU can live with it. Im not even sure she would want to be she wouldn't be proud of what she saw in you Ditzy."

My eyes weld up in tears. " How would you know!?"

"Because dear..."

She stopped when my dad stood up. " Stop Sally Ann, this is my daughter and my mom would be damn proud of what is in my daughter because she would except Ditzy's interests!"

"All of you stop!" said my grandpa which looked like he was in tears he got up and walked up stairs

Sally looked at me "Now look what you did DITZY" She got up and took a step towards me and I stood up and looked right in her eyes.

" I didn't do anything Sally and neither did my family and my Grandma Cherry would be proud of me.. More proud than you'll ever be  of me.." I looked at her with a devil smile

"Hmm!" she started  :" Last I remember your Grandma was dead and weak and a sick bastard who is afraid of dying. She wanted to live I can tell you that she might have been a cheat or a prissy brat like you."

" YOU DIDN'T KNOW MY GRANDMOTHER!!" I yelled hitting the table Everyone jumped up  " YOU DON'T DESERVE MY GRANDPA!!"

She took a step forward and gave me a smirk a smirk that i will remember when im gone. " Oh I didn't have too but lets let bygones be bygones ok sweety?" She stepped forward to give me a hug.

"NO! After what you just said!? You aren't my grandmother" I was sobbing  "You'll never be half the thing she is. and  and as long as your here... " I looked at my family and mouthed 'I'M SORRY' then i turned back to sally. "I wont be.." I started crying and ran out the door...

"DITZY!!! WAIT!!" I heard my dad and sister say

I didn't care I kept running.

My Grandpa's house was only a couple of blocks from my school: Canterlot High School it was around 11:45

'Finally the time to get out of this messed up place i call my life!' It had been 29 moons since Twilight left. In 15 minutes I will  have jumped through the portal to Equestria. Tonight is the last night it will be open so i will have to hurry.

I got to the school. I had put a bunch of stuff In a backpack. I had planned this last week when Sally had first been the bastard I know now. I saw the portal and looked at the street and saw my Dad's car coming up. I hurried and jumped through the portal.

" Who are you!?" I heard somebody say..

I got up and saw Twilight Sparkle and two other tall ponies.

"Twilight! Its me! Ditzy Sketch!" I told her with a gleamy face

Her face dropped and walked to me.. " Is it really you?" She looked at me and looked into my eyes. "Ditzy.." She hugged me and I sighed

" Twilight!" said the tall ponies with flowing hair int front of us." Do you know this pony?"

Twilight looked up at them with a smile "Yes my Princesses! This is my dear friend Ditzy Sketch and I am guessing she finally ran away to find me here." She looked at me with tear  filled eyes.

The Princess with a sun mark came up and touched my back "Why have you run away my dear child? You know you can not go back to your world for 30 moons now don't you????" She looked at me with a frown and worried eyes

I stood up and bowed " I'm guessing you are the lovely Princess Celestia I wrote everything Twilight Sparkle told me about Equestria in a note book!"

She blushed then serioused back up. " That still doesn't answer my question 'Ditzy Sketch' " She looked down at me

I sighed and looked at the portal "I ran away because I needed to start my life over. You see.."

I told her how my Grandma died and how Sally came in 18 years later. I also told her about how Twilight befriended me and I helped with Sunset Shimmer.

She just looked at me with wide eyes and I saw her wipe her eyes when I was talking about Cherry Twinkle.

"You see" I started  " I need to start a new life and coming to Equestria will help me with that"

She sighed and got up and walked to 'Princess Luna' I assume. Twilight came over to me

"Wow, I had no idea you had it like that" She lowered her voice "All your friends are here in pony version too!"

My eyes lit up but i still whispered "Even Fluttershy???" I remember trying to get with Fluttershy after her and her gf broke up.. Trust me it wasn't any of my friends.. I wouldn't even think about it in that situation.

She smiled " Of course" The tall princesses came over.

" You can stay Ditzy Sketch but nopony must know of you're coming from." I smiled and bowed " On one condition. You stay in Ponyville and make friends.. You must also write to me on your findings." She smiled and looked at Twilight

"Of course Princess!" twilight said then looked at me with a smile "Well we should get to bed. We have a BIG day tomorrow!" The princess nodded at Twilight and walked me out.

We were walking down the hallway of a big crystal looking palace.

" Ditzy. his is your room the Sun Princess said

She led me into a big room and nodded and left me their. It was a big room with white and red decorations. I walked over to a mirror and I couldn't believe what i saw.

'I am a UNICORN!?' i said to myself It was true. I am a white Unicorn with the same orange and red hair. I looked just as I imagined but i imagined myself as an Earth Pony for some reason.

I went to the bed and took my backpack of and unzipped it. My contents were

Brush

Toothbrush

Magazine

ALL my paint supplies

and

A picture of Cherry Twinkle

I put everything back but the picture.

I sat on the bed and held it to my chest and let myself sob..

My door opened and it was Twilight.

"Twilight!? You scared me" I looked back down at the picture. She walked over to me and sat on the bed looking at the picture.

"That's her isn't it?"

"Yep" i couldn't help but shed a couple more tears.  " I tried so hard not to cry telling the Princess about her. And about what Sally said"

She put her head on my shoulder and I put my head on hers..

" I missed you a lot when I was here" she told me " I'm glad your back er.. here."  I looked at  her and she was smiling a sincere smile.

" I missed you too Twi " I yawned really hard then rubbed my eyes.

" Well you're beet. So am I.The portal started buzzing this morning knowing somepony was going to come through so we waited all day for somepony to come through. I am glad that pony was you!"

She got up and walked out the door.

" Night Ditzy!" she said smiling with a weak tired smile.

"Night" She walked out the door.. I put the picture on the nightstand.

"Night Grandma Cherry I know running away wasn't really the answer but.." I choked back tears and continued talking to my beloved Grandma " I cant live pretending that its ok with your 'replacement'. Goodnight" I turned of the lamp and closed my eyes dreaming about what my "Friends" will say... What Fluttershy will look like.
