The night-time Streets of Ponyville were pitch black and smothered by fog. Only one vigilant streetlight provided illumination. Even Luna's moon was hidden by the thick fog that had quickly rolled in and blanketed the town. Only one Pony was up and about tonight. Said Pony was standing under the lone streetlight, quietly humming a tune as she plucked an aged party flier off of the wooden pole the light was attached to. In one deft motion, the Mare tucked the crumpled poster into the curly and knotted confines of her mane and yanked a new, unblemished flier out of her saddle bag and stuck it in the same space it's predecessor held. "Yay! Now everypony will know about tomorrows new years eve party!" She squealed in a hushed and exited tone. The pony was about to take off when a horrible pain started to grow in the back of her head. She collapsed to her knee's as a familiar, yet sinister, voice spoke.
"It's a shame you wont be attending your own party."
The mare gasped and teetered. Her vision started to go red as the searing pain started to move excruciatingly slowly from the back of her mind to the front. "No...please..." She whimpered. The voice did not speak, but the pain was steadily getting more agonizing. "P-please, j-just let me get home before..." The voice was silent for a moment, but the mare knew it was contemplating. Fine. It said at last. The Mare released the breath she had been holding and sighed gratefully. The pain was still present, but it was nothing more than a dull ache the resided in the back of her skull.
The Mare trudged to her home as quickly as she could. After what seemed like an eternity of trotting, the Mare reached the front door of her home. The Mare pulled a key out of her mane and attempted to slide it into the lock, but in her haste she ended up fumbling and dropping the key. A lance of pain shot through her skull. The Mare gasped and clutched her head for a moment. Hurry up. The voice hissed. The mare picked up the key with a trembling hoof and attempted to unlock the door again. She was successful this time. The Mare slipped into her home as quickly as she could, quietly shutting the door behind her and quickly heading upstairs to her bedroom.
As soon as the Mare had shut and locked her bedroom door the pain returned ten-fold. There, your home, now I'm taking over. The Mare fell to her side as the pain spread not only forward in her head, but outwards to the rest of her body. "W-wait, P-please, don't do this, I don't..." No. We made a deal, simple as that. Think of it this way, I'll be taking care of "important" business while you get to take a nice long nap. The Mare stifled a scream as her muscles began to contort randomly. It felt like somepony had forced broken glass into her head and had wailed on her with a jackhammer. "I-ill do anything!" The Mare begged in a soft and pained voice. "Just don't do this..." Pinkie, Pinkie, sweet, sweet Pinkie. The voice sarcastically cooed. This is just how it has to be. You know that I only come out when there's...problems...that you know need to be taken care of that can't be solved with the Elements, even if you aren't aware that these problems exist. Isn't everything always better when I let you come back? Besides, we talked about this a long time ago. So, shut up and take the pain like a big mare."
Pinkie Pie cried out in anguish as the pain intensified even further. Her muscles rippled and contorted. It felt like acid was running in her veins and thousands of angry wasps were stinging her everywhere. Her skin stretched as her frame steadily grew larger. Pinkie Pie suddenly felt herself disconnect. She no longer felt pain, but she could still feel that she was changing. Standing unsteadily on rapidly growing legs, Pinkie hobbled over to her mirror. Pinkie could only watch as her transformation continued. She could feel the other taking over. Pinkie Pie took a deep breath, and started to sing herself out.
The secret side of me
I never let you see
I keep her caged
But I can't control her
So stay away from me
The beast is ugly
I feel her rage
And I just can't hold it
Pinkie watched as the final stages of her transformations began.
She's scratching on the walls
In the closet, in the halls
She comes awake
And I can't control her
Hiding under the bed
In my body, in my head
Why won't somebody come and save me from this?
Make it end!
Pinkie Pie closed her eye's...
I feel it deep within,
She's just beneath my skin...
I must confess that I...that I... Pinkie stammered.
"Feel like a monster." Pinkamena finished.
Pinkamena opened her eyes and looked at her reflection. Pinkie's happy light blue eyes were now a unforgiving dark crimson color. Where Pinkie had been petite and had been sporting a small belly, Pinkamena was very slim and had rock hard muscle under her deceptively soft skin and dark pink fur. She had long, shapely legs and an attractively elongated neck. Pinkamena smiled, and her lips pulled back to reveal gleaming, razor sharp teeth. Pinkamena turned to see her flank and looked at her Cutie-Mark. It was now a single black party balloon behind a cracked, demonic looking skull and crossbones. It seemed like the skull was laughing.
Pinkamena opened up a hidden closet and pulled out a leather jacket. Sliding the jacket on, Pinkamena pulled out a box of cigarette's from the chest pocket and lit one up. She puffed on it, and stared thoughtfully at the smoke before muttering "Let's see if I remember how to do this..." Pinkamena closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she found herself standing outside. Pinkamena smiled wickedly and took another drag of the cigarette before trotting off into the night.
