Chapters Fluttershy tiptoed over the tree roots, gingerly placing down each gentle hoof. Her eyes scanned the woods, taking in every bird, every bunny and every sound. Her ears pricked up as a wail travelled through the air like leaves being carried in the breeze. The yellow mare started to quicken her pace, and soon she was galloping through the woods, jumping the roots, desperate to find the animal that made that noise. Her long pink mane snagged on tree branches, her hooves were stained with mud. She heard the wail again, closer now this time. Slowing down into a trot, the mare glanced through the bushes she was behind. There, in the middle of a clearing, was a small dog. Its white fur was speckled with black and brown. Fluttershy entered the clearing and spoke gently to the dog.
"Hello there, what are you doing out here all by yourself?"
The dog ran over to her, jumped on her and licked her face. Fluttershy giggled and held the dog close to her, hugging it like it was her foal. Without warning, the dog jumped out of Fluttershy's hold and started to run through the trees. Fluttershy gasped, and galloped after it. Soon the dog was out of sight, so Fluttershy spread her wings and took to the sky. She scanned through the trees, until she spotted a white dot beside a lake. She landed and cantered towards the lake. She got there just in time to see the dog jump in. The mare looked at where the dog disappeared and after it hadn't come up she started to panic. She waded into the water, the cool waves lapping at her fur. She waded in up to her neck, and after she could go no further, she dived under. The last thing she saw was the bottom of the lake open up, then she passed out.
"Dusk Shine, is she ok?"
Fluttershy stared in bewilderment at the six stallions standing in front of her. They all looked exactly like her friends, except, they were stallions. The one that looked like Twilight stepped forward.
"Hello, my name is Dusk Shine, and this is Bubble Berry, Jack Apple, Rainbow Blitz, Elusive and Butterscotch. What's your name?"
Fluttershy stared round the group. Bubble Berry, she guessed, was Pinkie, Jack Apple was Apple Jack, Rainbow Blitz was Rainbow Dash, Elusive was Rarity and Butterscotch was her?
"um, hi" she squeaked.
Soon Fluttershy was being given a tour of the town she knew so well, by herself as a stallion. She had been introduced to all the ponies at a party, organised by Bubble Berry.
"Do you, um, want to go back to meet the others now?" Butterscotch asked
The two ponies walked down the road in silence until they reached the library. Butterscotch pushed open the door for Fluttershy, and the pair walked in.
"HEY GUYS THEY'RE BACK" Rainbow Blitz yelled as Fluttershy closed the door.
Jack Apple shook his head at the crazy party pony ant the six ponies sat round a table and had their drinks. Once they finished, they started to tell Fluttershy about themselves. Just as she expected, they were exactly like her friends at home.
"So Flutters, tell us a bit about you, and where you come from" Blitz said to her.
Elusive used his magic to pick her up and placed her on the couch. Jack apple put a blanket over her shoulders, and Dusk made her a warm drink for when she came round. The five stallions then made their way back to the kitchen to talk.
"Ok, we know how she got here, but what is her deepest desire?" Butterscotch asked
The walked over to the sofa where Fluttershy was lying, and Dusk cast the spell. His eyes went wide in realisation as he pulled away.
"What!" Elusive whispered, when they were away from the sleeping mare
Jack Apple looked round the group. They all nodded and, except from Dusk Shine, left the library. Dusk looked out a quill and scroll, and hoof wrote a letter to Lord Solaris and his brother Prince Artemis about the current predicament. He called softly on Barb, his baby dragon to send the letter. Once it was sent, he settled down to read a book. After about three chapters, he felt his eyelids drooping. He used his magic to close the book and he trotted up the stairs to his bed, with the still sleeping Fluttershy on his couch.

Dusk Shine woke up to the smell of lavender and honey pancakes. He got out of bed and trotted down the library steps, eager to get a taste of the breakfast treat.
"Barb, what made you try this rec-"
He stopped in his tracks when her saw Fluttershy sliding a pancake onto a huge pile. She didn't notice him, and proceeded to put a block of butter on top, and drizzle the pile in honey. She turned round to put the breakfast on the table and bumped into Dusk.
"Oh, im so sorry, I hope you don't mind me making breakfast for you. You were so nice to me yesterday, and I really should have gotten up, so I made this" She said in a hurry, adding a shy smile at the end.
What a nice mare, Dusk thought to himself as he bit into a pancake. The lavender hit the back of his throat, and was quickly replaced by honey. How could anypony not love her
Fluttershy trotted into town towards Elusives boutique. As she pushed the door opened, a small bell rang, and Elusive's voice floated through
"Welcome to Carousel Boutique, of Fluttershy! How are you feeling my dear?"
Fluttershy put a bag of bits on the counter, thanked him, and left the shop. Elusive picked up the bag and tipped it out to put the money away, only to find that she had given him the full forty bits. He shook his head and smiled. This, was going to have to be an amazing dress.
After picking up some fruit from Jack Apple and checking when the next storm was, Fluttershy went over to her house. It wasn't her home that she was used to, but it was very nice. The main room was a pastel blue with a white rug, a white sofa and white lamps. The kitchen was a light, but not pale, green. The bedroom was a pale pink, with a small bed, a chest of drawers and an en suite bathroom. Fluttershy smiled, and went ahead with putting her things away. When she was done, she trotted to Dusk's library.
"Dusk? are you home?"
Fluttershy pushed open the door and trotted in, nudging it closed behind her. Dusk smiled at her as she walked over.
"Flutteshy, we want you to meet out friend. He just moved back from a holiday in Canterlot"
Fluttershy stared at the stallion behind Dusk, her eyes wide and sparkling. The pegasus stallion walked forward. His coat was as white as snow, and his golden mane fell in curls around his face. He smiled at the pegasus mare, a pale pink covering his cheeks. Fluttershy blinked a couple of times and blushed scarlet
"Im sorry, where are my manners, my name Funny Feather, it Fluttershy, right?"
Fluttershy walked outside and closed the door. The six stallions turned to Funny Feather.
"What do you think FF?" Blitz asked
"Fluttershy? are you there" Funny Feather asked, standing outside the library door
He put his forelegs round her waist, and with one strong push, lifted them both into the air. He flew up for a while, before landing on a cloud. He put Fluttershy down gently and smiled at her.
"You do know im a pegasus, right?" she asked him
Funny Feather cover Fluttershy's eyes with his hooves, and spun her round to face the other direction. He took away his hooves and Fluttershy gasped. In front of her was a slide, made out of cloud, leading down to a small pool. On the pool side were all sorts of animals, ranging from deer to turtles.
"You coming Flutters?" Funny asked
She sat down gingerly on the cloud slide, and felt Funny Feather sit down behind her. He placed his hooves round her waist for the second time that day. Fluttershy tilted her head to look up at him.
"What are you doing?"
Funny Feather pushed off with his wings, and they slid down towards the pool. Fluttershy grinned and laughed. It was a lot more fun than she had expected it to be. She settled down against the stallion behind her. Funny Feather looked down at Fluttershy, her head leaning against his chest, and smiled. He pushed on again until they were going so fast that the world became a blur. Fluttershy's smile widened, until she was no longer on the slide, and in the air. She felt herself drop and looked down. Funny Feather was falling into the pool, twisting and turning as he fell. Suddenly, a brilliant idea popped into Fluttershys head. She flew down until she was about Funny Feathers head.
"Wasn't that great Flutters! Flutters?"
He screamed, then laughed to the point of crying when he saw it was her. They both swam out the pool, and while Fluttershy was looking at a deer, he took the opportunity to jump at her. Just as he jumped however, Fluttershy turned round and he landed on top of her. He looked down at her until her realised where his muzzle was, then flew into the air, his cheeks turning red.
"IMSOSORRYFLUTTERSHTIDIDNTMEANITGOTTOGOBYE!" She said then took off like a bullet.
Fluttershy smiled to herself, and flew home for the night.
"You did WHAT!" Elusive screamed when Funny Feather told the stallions what had happened.
And with that, all the stallions left for their own houses.

Hearts and Hooves planning
Butterscotch knocked on Fluttershy's door with a soft hoof. Fluttershy opened it and smiled at him
"Oh, hello Butterscotch, what brings you here?"
The pair walked to Butterscotch's cottage, Fluttershy glancing at the stallion every now and again. He had his head down, kicking the dirt.
"we're here. The birds are over there"
Fluttershy nodded and set to work. Soon the birds were singing in perfect harmony. Butterscotch watched the mare from his cottage. He was fascinated with her ability to help all the critters, talk to them. Once he saw they were finished, we trotted out to them.
"It sounds amazing Fluttershy! I dont know how you do it"
Butterscotch was cut off as a pegasus landed between the two of them. Funny Feather turned to Fluttershy and grinned
"Hey! Flutters, i heard the birds, and i guessed it was you. I thought we could go and get a coffee before working on the entertainment"
As Fluttershy flew off with Funny Feather Butterscotch stared daggers after them. How dare he. Butterscotch made it obvious that he admired the mare. Growling to himself, he went back inside.
Funny Feather looked at the mare, who was looking at the songs he had picked. Funny felt his face turn red as he looked at her. She was very pretty, kind, caring, but also loved to have a good time. That was rare to find in a mare.
"Um, Funny? Why is there a rock song in this?"
Fluttershy raised an eyebrow, but walked over to the music player and picked a song. She walked back into the center of the room. Funny Feather bowed and took her hoof. Fluttershy giggled as they started dancing. They twirled round the room, and as the song came to the end Funny dipped Fluttershy down. She stared up at him and blushed. He smiled down at her and brought his face close to hers, and whispered in her ear,
"this slow enough for ya?"
Fluttershy smiled and trotted out of the town hall. As she trotted back to her house, she bumped into Rainbow Blitz.
"Oh, yo Flutters, hows it going?"
Fluttershy trotted back to her house and started baking a few treats for Bubble Berry.
"Dude, you gotta stop. We know you like her, but we cant put that sort of pressure on her" Rainbow Blitz glared at Butterscotch

"Fluttershy dear, are you home?" Elusive called quietly through her door.
Elusive walked in and closed the door behind him. Fluttershy lead him to her living room and they sat down.
"Do you want a drink, Elusive? i have honey and lavender tea?"
Fluttershy came back into the room with two teas, gave one to Elusive and sat down beside him.
"Right my dear, here is your dress. I do hope you like it"
Fluttershy looked at it and gasped, tears in her eyes. She put it on and stared at herself in awe. It was beautiful, round her chest it was tight, the white fabric shimmering. It spread out and fell round her back and almost floated. The hem had red hearts stitched to it and small pink crystals were embroidered into the skirt.
"Do you like it?"
"Yo, guys, you all ready for the ball?" Rainbow Blitz shouted, flying into the library
The six stallions walked out the door, and towards the town hall.The whole town was there, dancing and laughing. The group spotted Fluttershy in a corner. They all walked over to her.
"Yo Flutters, your looking good" Rainbow Blitz said to her
Dusk Shine had on a deep blue waist coat, Butterscotch had on a yellow and pink striped one. JA had on a green one with red apples on it, and RB had a rainbow striped one. Bubble Berry's was pink with sweets on it and Elusive had on a deep pink waistcoat with cold trim.
"It looks so beautiful Elusive"
Fluttershy whipped round to see who was talking to her. Funny Feather was standing there, with a golden waistcoat and rainbow coloured roses.
"Funny Feather! Its great to see you" Fluttershy blushed.
The pair walked onto the dance floor, and began to dance.
"You look beautiful Fluttershy"
Fluttershy blushed as the music ended. Funny Feather kept a hold of her hoof, and pulled her out the door.
"Cover your eyes. I have a surprise for you"
Fluttershy shut her eyes, and felt Funny Feather lead her. She heard birds and a slight water sound.
"Right, you can open your eyes now"
Fluttershy gaped at the sight. They were by a lake, a blanket was set out with a picnic. The pair sat down and began to eat. When they were finished, Fluttershy moved over beside Funny.
"You want to fly?"
Funny Feather flew beside Fluttershy and they both landed on a cloud. They stared up at the clouds and Fluttershy cuddled into Funny. He looked down at her, and she looked up at him.
"You really do look beautiful" He said to her
She blushed, and before she knew what was happening, he leaned down and kissed her. She closed her eyes and smiled.
"So um, i was wondering Flutters" Funny Feather said, breaking the kiss "would you be my very special somepony?"
The couple flew back to the town hall to tell the others the news.
"Im so happy for you" Elusive smiled
They all danced the rest of the night and one they were done, Funny walked Fluttershy home.
"Night Flutters"
"butterscotch darling, i thought you didnt like the Flutter and Funny idea"
It had been seven weeks since Fluttershy had landed in the other Equestria. She trotted down the road towards the library, smiling to herself.
"Hey guys, how are you all today?"
Dusk got Barb to take a letter, and soon he was back, tending to Fluttershy. A knock at the door interrupted them. Dusk walked over and opened it, to see Solaris himself standing there. Fluttershy stared at the king. He was the same height as Celestia. His coat was white, but his mane and tail were red, orange and yellow, in the same style as Celestia's. He had a beard the same colour as his mane.
"Dusk Shine" he smiled "I got your letter and came as quickly as i could. Where is this, Fluttershy"
Fluttershy explained what happened to the king. He nodded and began to take notes.
"Now, please dont cry Fluttershy, but im afraid, if Funny Feather tries to go home with you, it wont end well. Im sorry, but there is no way you two can go back to your home and stay together"
Solaris said his goodbyes and left. Fluttershy walked home, her legs shaking. She opened the door and walked in. She sat down and began to cry. A knock on the door didnt even shift her.
"Flutters? Fluttershy! honey, whats wrong!" Funny Feather dashed over to her
Fluttershy told him what had happened, and Funny Feather hugged her, stroking her mane, a single tear rolling down his cheek. He had to stay strong, for her.
Fluttershy met her friends down by the lake that she had been found by. She hugged them, and one by one, said her goodbyes. Elusive, Butterscotch and Dusk had tears rolling down their cheeks. Bubble was howling like a baby, his mane and tail flat and lifeless. Even JA and RB had tears in their eyes. Fluttershy finally reached Funny Feather. She hugged him, her tears soaking his coat. He put a hoof under her chin and lifted her face to meet his. He stared into her eyes, and for a final time, he kissed her. After a minute or so, she pulled away. Walking down to the edge of the lake, she turned, and waved to her friends. They waved back, and watched as she walked into the water, until she was out of sight. Once she was gone, Funny Feather broke down in silent tears, his friends trying to help him and ease a little of his pain.
Fluttershy looked around her. She was lying in a hospital bed, ropes connecting to her legs. She stared in wonder, until a nurse walked through the door. Nurse Redheart looked at Fluttershy for a moment, before a grin covered her face.
"Hiya honey, its so good to see your awake again"
Fluttershy heard ponies talking in hushed, but exited voices outside her room, and soon her friends burst in. They were a flurry of laughter, smiled and tears.
"Fluttershy! Darling, its great to see you are ok!"
Fluttershy told them everything that had happened, but left out all the parts about Funny Feather. After days of recovery and help, she was ready to go home. Her friends came to help her, and soon, they were on their way.
"Thank you, Nurse Redheart, for looking after her" Twilight said to the nurse
Fluttershy sat in her cottage. It was a week after she had been released from hospital, and life was as it used to be. She finished putting angle to bed, when there was a knock at the door.
"Two moments, I'll be right with you" Fluttershy called.
She walked to the door, opened it and gasped.
"Hey Fluttershy"
