The dragon took a quick glance at the banner, it was his 18th birthday, and he had lived with Twilight since he was hatched. "Okay..." he said, following her into the kitchen. "Sweetie Belle!" the white unicorn called. "Sweetie Belle!" "I'm coming!" came a sing-song voice from upstairs. Grunting, Rarity decided to pick up the items she needed for the event. "That mare is getting on my last nerve..." she muttered, putting her sun hat on. Turning around, she saw her sister walk down the stairs. Sweetie Belle had long gone past the 'filly' stage, she was a sophisticated mare now, about 16, and had her singing cutie mark. Walking out the door, she noticed something, her sister was as almost tall and old as she was when she met Twilight. Sweetie Belle had been with her that long, she couldn't believe it... "Okay, can we please go now?" she pleaded, hitching herself to the saddle. "Okay!" the mares answered. Applejack trotted along the dirt road, wondering how in the world the time had gone that fast. First, Applebloom and Scootaloo were part of the group Cutie Mark Crusaders now they were Cutie Mark Concurs! Both had their Cutie Marks, Applebloom, as you already know, had a designing cutie mark, and Scootaloo had a stunt cutie mark! She thought tears would just start to swell up... Pinkie Pie hopped up and down the rocky road to the library, carrying a large cake. She had never ever noticed how time had flown so quickly! First, she was gasping really loud as she saw Twilight for the very first time, then, she was an element of harmony, now, she bringing a cake to Spike's 18th birthday! Where had time gone? "Oh well," she muttered, still hopping. "At least we had a pinkie-tastic time!" Rainbow Dash flew across every building searching for the library, she thought she was late, but when she saw some of her friends just started there way down there, she knew she was okay. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, almost tipping over her gift. "Close call!" She suddenly stopped in mid-air, looking at the gift. This gift was for Spike's 18th birthday. Eighteen! Whoa, the years had flown by so quickly, she could hardly remember what he looked like as a baby dragon! "Hmm..." she said, trying to remember, but then remembered the party. Inside the box was a pillow with 'Spike' embraded on it, little jewels were sewn around it.. "Oh..." she said, remembering Spike as the name of a baby dragon. "Gee, I never noticed how...time...flies...by..." Suddenly, a glimpse of a rainbow mane dashed right by, making her spin around for a second. Though, the gift was unharmed. "Mph..." she muttered, trying to not fall down. "Pretty sure that was Rainbow Dash." She giggled, continuing her way to the library. The white Pegasus dashed across the sky, searching for the tree house, also known as the Pony Ville library. "Oh!" she muttered. "At this rate, I'll be late!" "Hey, wait up Lilly!" someone called. The golden maned pony stopped and turned around, to see Rainbow Dash rush into her. "Oh, hey Rainbow Dash!" she said gleefully. "Hey, Lilly!" the blue Pegasus replied. "So, on your way to the party?" "Yeah, can you believe that Spike is already eighteen!?" "I know, it's hard to believe that when you and I met him, he was just little..." Rainbow Dash turned to the stuck-in-thought Lilly. "Then again, for you, he was two years older..." she added to her sentence. Lilly turned to her with an annoyed look. "What is that supposed to mean!?" she asked, glaring. "Well, let's face it. He was eight you and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were six, I mean, you must be at least a little jealous that he is older than you!" Rainbow Dash answered. "Oh, please." she said. "Jealous of age? That is just lame!" Rainbow Dash frowned playfully. "Hey, your not the one who is twenty-eight!" she said, nudging her friend over to the right. "Yeah, well, I'm just glad were all friends!" Lilly answered, hugging her gift. "Hey, what did you get him?" Rainbow asked, looking at the box. Lilly looked around to make sure no one would hear. When the coast was clear, she leaned in and whispered, "An 'S' shaped emerald." The blue Pegasus stared with her mouth dangling open. "Ohmygosh, ohmygosh! Where did you get one like that!? It's not even sold here in PonyVille, and, even if it was, it would be over three thousand bits!" Lilly bit her lip, blushing. "No...you didn't..." Rainbow Dash gasped. Lilly nodded. "But, that was your whole life savings! Why would you use it for a gem!?" Lilly blushed again, looking away. "He...he's a very special friend to me...I...I wanted the best for him..." she said, not looking Rainbow in the eye. The blue Pegasus could see that her alicorn friend was getting uncomfortable, and dropped the subject. They flew towards the library in silence. Author's Note Hello, hoped you enjoyed my story. It was my first time writing a fan fiction. So, this story has a back story, but I was too lazy to write it. (Translation: I'M WORKING ON IT!) So, as you can see, this takes place AFTER season three, ten years later. So, I was thinking that in season three the mane six were 18, the CMC group was 6 (so was Lilly, when she met them), and Spike was 8. That's how I saw it. I know, I know. Somepony is probably saying, "But, Twilight was probably 20!" well, IT'S MY STORY! And, now the mane six are all 28, spike is 18, and the CMC + the new/old member Lilly are 16. Applejack and Twilight said. "Hey Spike!" Fluttershy said, perking up to see her dragon friend. Though, this time Spike gave a whispered "Hello..." Fluttershy looked confused. "What's wrong with him?" she asked, placing her gifts next to the others. "Day dreaming phase." Twilight answered, rolling her eyes. "Oh..." Fluttershy said, her wings closing up as she sat down at a table. "HELLO!" Pinkie said, bursting in with the party cannon, as she started her 'Birthday' song, Oh, happy, happy birthday to you! I hope that today, you learn something new! You're turning one year older, and I hope~, that you have a fantastic day! When Pinkie opened her eyes, gasping for air, she saw a careless Spike, barely give her a wave. She gave a confused look, and walked over to her friends. "No smile? No hug? Not even a look?" she asked. "What's wrong with him?" "He's growin' into a teenager." Applejack answered, as Pinkie sat at the table, next to Fluttershy. "Oh, I see." Pinkie said. Suddenly, the door swung open to reveal the fabulous, gliserent, gorgeous Rarity. Or, at least, that's how she described herself. "Hello Darlings~!" Rarity said, as she entered the room, giving a flip of her mane, her sister followed behind. Sweetie Belle quickly darted toward the small table her friends were at. Spike suddenly perked up, as if he was a happy little duckling. "Hey Rarity!" he said, giving her a special wave. "Oh, happy birthday my little Spikey-wikey!" she said, giving him a hug. "We have lots to talk about!" So, the two friends talked on and on, while the other mares were busy sharing secrets, or gossiping about the latest couple. Suddenly, the door swung open revealing Rainbow Dash and Lilly. "Sup, ponies!" they both said, giggling. "Hey girls!" their friends answered, except for Rarity and Spike, who were very close. When Lilly saw them, she narrowed her eyes, and almost growled. She felt something bubble up inside her. 'Don't worry, Lilly.' she thought. 'Their not dating...' Suddenly, Rarity leaned in, and kissed Spike's nose, making him blush. Lilly couldn't hold it in, the thing that was bubbling inside was completely full, it was overflowing. She knew what it was. "Except for these two!" she said, pointing at Sweetie and Applebloom. Sweetie Belle blushed, turning away, while Applebloom's face was as red as her bow. "Hey, ya'll don't know that! Why, I hear that Snails is-" she snapped, but suddenly covered her mouth, noticing what she let slip out. Lilly gasp. "You like Snails!?" she whisper-shouted. Applebloom squirmed on her seat. "Um...well...err..." she said, wanting to kick herself for saying that. "What about you, Sweetie Belle? Who do you like?" Scootaloo asked her other blushing friend. "W-well..." she answered, looking at her. "I always thought that P-Pip was cute..." After a few minutes of talking, Pinkie Pie pulled Vinyl Scratch out of nowhere, and told her to play the best music she had. "Come on, everypony, and dragon, let's get our party on!" she said, pulling Twilight up. Twilight grabbed Applejack's hooves, while Applejack grabbed Rainbow Dash, while Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy. The four friends started to dance, while Rarity kept talking to Spike. Sweetie Belle got excited when the music turned on. "Come on, girls!" she squealed. "Let's dance!" Applebloom grabbed Lilly's hoove, dragging her to the dance floor. "Whoa!" she said, as she was dragged. On her way to the dance floor, Lilly noticed something. Spike and Rarity weren't dancing and weren't at the table. But, when she looked, in the kitchen, it looked like they were kissing. Lilly just stared at them, she felt like she was gonna fall over. The jealousy and hatred were gone, they were replaced with heartbreak and sadness. "Uh...Applebloom?" Lilly asked her friend. "Yup?" she answered. "Tell Twilight that I left early, I...wasn't feeling good." Applebloom nodded, waving at her friend as she left. The minute Lilly was outside, she began to cry. It was raining, just perfect for her mood. "A-all my work...all the things I did...were for nothing." she stammered. 'I should have gave up.' she thought. 'They are probably already dating, or have been dating for a long time. Where in my head did I think he would want me!?' "What are you doing out here in the rain?" somepony asked behind her. -With Spike- "Rarity, I'm sorry!" Spike said. "I didn't mean to trip!" "Oh, that's alright deary." Rarity said smiling. "Well," Trixie answered, turning to a page in the book which had two ponies kissing. "this spell will make your crush fall in love with you. Unlike that Love Poison that your friends made, this one is safer. The pony, or er, dragon will suddenly be attracted to you, when he finally sees that he has feelings for you, he will start to get nervous around you. When that happens, get ready for him to ask you out." Lilly was practically jumping in her seat. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she said. "Let's do the spell!" Trixie smiled. "Now, don't get excited yet." she said. "Led will tell you the rest of the details." "Well," Led began. "even though this is safer than the Love Poison, it still has some defects like if you guys get two close than maybe he will..." Suddenly, the door swung open to reveal the fabulous, gliserent, gorgeous Rarity. Or, at least, that's how she described herself. "Hello Darlings~!" Rarity said, as she entered the room, giving a flip of her mane, her sister followed behind. Sweetie Belle quickly darted toward the small table her friends were at. Spike suddenly perked up, as if he was a happy little duckling. "Hey Rarity!" he said, giving her a special wave. "Oh, happy birthday my little Spikey-wikey!" she said, giving him a hug. "We have lots to talk about!" So, the two friends talked on and on, while the other mares were busy sharing secrets, or gossiping about the latest couple. Suddenly, the door swung open revealing Rainbow Dash and Lilly. "Sup, ponies!" they both said, giggling. "Hey girls!" their friends answered, except for Rarity and Spike, who were very close. When Lilly saw them, she narrowed her eyes, and almost growled. She felt something bubble up inside her. 'Don't worry, Lilly.' she thought. 'Their not dating...' Suddenly, Rarity leaned in, and kissed Spike's nose, making him blush. Lilly couldn't hold it in, the thing that was bubbling inside was completely full, it was overflowing. She knew what it was. Jealousy. Author's Note Like it? Okay! Don't like it? GET AWAY FROM ME!!! Now, these chapter uploads will be crazy. I might upload one everyday or two, BUT! Jealousy and SadnessChapter 3 Rainbow Dash was about to go over to her friends, when she thought she heard a light growl. Turning around, she noticed Lilly was glaring at Rarity, as she talked to Spike. Her wings were spread halfway, making her look angry. "Lilly?" Rainbow Dash asked. "You okay?" Lilly's face quickly turned into a fake smile. "I'm fine." she said, through gritted teeth. "Perfectly fine." Rainbow Dash took a step back, a bit creeped out. "Um...okay?" she said, walking over to her friends. Lilly walked over to her other friends, who were once, a long time ago, the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Hey girls." Lilly said, still keeping an eye on Spike and Rarity. Sweetie Belle noticed this and rolled her eyes. "Are you still trying to make him your special some-pony, or, in your case, special some-dragon?" she said giggling. Lilly blushed, looking down. "I'm trying, but..." Lilly whispered. "...he doesn't notice me..." "Aw, come on, Lil'. You gotta try! Maybe he likes ya', but ya don't notice!" Applebloom said, trying to cheer her up. Scootaloo smiled, anypony would know that her mind was somewhere else. "You thinkin' about ol' Feather Weight again?" Applebloom asked, making her purple maned friend blush. "Y-yeah." she answered, blowing a strand of hair out of her eye. Lilly giggled. "Looks like we both have crushes!" she squealed. Scootaloo giggled, too. "Except for these two!" she said, pointing at Sweetie and Applebloom. Sweetie Belle blushed, turning away, while Applebloom's face was as red as her bow. "Hey, ya'll don't know that! Why, I hear that Snails is-" she snapped, but suddenly covered her mouth, noticing what she let slip out. Lilly gasp. "You like Snails!?" she whisper-shouted. Applebloom squirmed on her seat. "Um...well...err..." she said, wanting to kick herself for saying that. "What about you, Sweetie Belle? Who do you like?" Scootaloo asked her other blushing friend. "W-well..." she answered, looking at her. "I always thought that P-Pip was cute..." After a few minutes of talking, Pinkie Pie pulled Vinyl Scratch out of nowhere, and told her to play the best music she had. "Come on, everypony, and dragon, let's get our party on!" she said, pulling Twilight up. Twilight grabbed Applejack's hooves, while Applejack grabbed Rainbow Dash, while Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy. The four friends started to dance, while Rarity kept talking to Spike. Sweetie Belle got excited when the music turned on. "Come on, girls!" she squealed. "Let's dance!" Applebloom grabbed Lilly's hoove, dragging her to the dance floor. "Whoa!" she said, as she was dragged. On her way to the dance floor, Lilly noticed something. Spike and Rarity weren't dancing and weren't at the table. But, when she looked, in the kitchen, it looked like they were kissing. Lilly just stared at them, she felt like she was gonna fall over. The jealousy and hatred were gone, they were replaced with heartbreak and sadness. "Uh...Applebloom?" Lilly asked her friend. "Yup?" she answered. "Tell Twilight that I left early, I...wasn't feeling good." Applebloom nodded, waving at her friend as she left. The minute Lilly was outside, she began to cry. It was raining, just perfect for her mood. "A-all my work...all the things I did...were for nothing." she stammered. 'I should have gave up.' she thought. 'They are probably already dating, or have been dating for a long time. Where in my head did I think he would want me!?' "What are you doing out here in the rain?" somepony asked behind her. -With Spike- "Rarity, I'm sorry!" Spike said. "I didn't mean to trip!" "Oh, that's alright deary." Rarity said smiling. "Accidents happen." Spike had just tripped over a rolling pin, causing him to kiss the unicorn. Blushing, he went to the dance floor, followed by Rarity. Author's Note Okay, I know. This story is taking a while to get to the 'wish' part. But, I'm getting there! I'm doing it bit by bit. As you can see, I added a few more couple for all those PipBelle, ScootaWieght, and SnailsBloom. They were suggested by my BFF's. So, anymore suggested couples??????? (NO GAY COUPLES!)
WishesChapter 4 Lilly jumped back, startled. "W-who are you?" she asked. "No questions." the pony said. "Only answers." Lilly turned around confused. "What?" she asked, turning around. She suddenly noticed who it was. "Led Streamer?"she gasped. "Hello, my flower." he said, grinning. "I'm not your flower." she said, gritting her teeth. "Yes, yes, whatever." the teenage colt said. Lilly almost growled. Ponies can forgive, and keep forgiving, but what he did to her two years ago was unbearable. He had told everyone they were dating, that they loved each other! That little lie had set her to Spike's 'Friend' zone. "What are you even doing here?" Lilly asked, irritated. "Oh, I was going into PonyVille to get some supplies for Trixie, and I saw you." he said. "Now, may I ask, why were you crying?" Lilly suddenly looked down, ashamed. "Well...um...dragon...problems." she answered. "Oh, I see," Led said. Lilly quickly got up. She sighed, turning to walk home. "Hey," Led said, stopping her. "Trixie might be able to help you." Lilly perked up. "Really?" The blue unicorn levitated a book over to the table the three ponies were sitting at. Out of all the places Trixie could have picked to live, she picked an abandoned house at the edge of the Everfree Forest. "So, your crush?" she asked. "Crushed you?" Lilly frowned, almost starting to cry again. "Yes, can we please move on." she said. "Pushy..." Led teased. Lilly glared at him. "What can you do?" she asked. "Well," Trixie answered, turning to a page in the book which had two ponies kissing. "this spell will make your crush fall in love with you. Unlike that Love Poison that your friends made, this one is safer. The pony, or er, dragon will suddenly be attracted to you, when he finally sees that he has feelings for you, he will start to get nervous around you. When that happens, get ready for him to ask you out." Lilly was practically jumping in her seat. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she said. "Let's do the spell!" Trixie smiled. "Now, don't get excited yet." she said. "Led will tell you the rest of the details." "Well," Led began. "even though this is safer than the Love Poison, it still has some defects like if you guys get two close than maybe he will..." Lilly's ear suddenly blocked out all the sound, all she could imagine was Spike at her feet, begging for her to take him as her very special some-dragon.... "Now, you got that?" Lilly snapped back to reality. "Um...of course." she agreed, not having the slightest idea what he had been saying. "Good, now." Trixie said. "Say these words, and your wish will come true." Lilly gulped hard, concentrating on the spell. Magic moon Quarter bright Give me what I ask tonight A little love Is all I need I can do the rest indeed The one I love, he needs a nudge Into my arms, where he can’t budge And there he will forever stay For all of our remaining days. Suddenly, a big flash surrounded the room, causing Lilly to go blind for a moment, then, everything went black, as the clock struck 12. Author's Note Ugh, well. I suddenly noticed how much writers block I had when I wrote this. I might need a few days to edit it, and, yes, I have come back. I was missing for a few days, I was just getting into being obsessed with Teen Titans, so, yeah. But, i might still write, or, just delete it and start over. Who knows?
