She was daydreaming of the books on geography, and weather patterns, and was in absolute bliss. However a loud crash interrupted her bliss and shook her out of her daydream. Twilight looked up and saw Rainbow Dash who had just wiped out onto a house, struggling to get out. “Stupid birds! You don’t own the sky I do! So get out of my air!” Twilight walked over to Rainbow Dash to investigate. “Rainbow Dash are you okay? Why are you bullying the birds?” Twilight called out to her. “WHAT?” Rainbow Dash yelled and jump down to face Twilight. Twilight stared closely at Rainbow Dash but immediately noticed something was different about her. She wasn’t blue like normal; she was completely red and didn’t even have a rainbow in her mane. “I was just asking why you were being mean to the birds, and why are you red?” Twilight asked awkwardly, as the red RD squinted her eyes looking at her. “What difference does it make to you Twilight? You think you’re so adult and mature because you read a few stupid books! You little goodie toe shoes, get out of my way!” And with that red RD shot off into the sky. Twilight stood there dumb struck for a moment simply looking up into the sky. Then in the distance she heard laughing from what sounded like Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. Twilight rushed over and down the street saw non other than the bouncing pink pony, but also a bouncing yellow Pony. “And that’s when I said, not that’s my balloon animal!” said the Yellow RD. Pinkie Pie laughed and jumped around excited. “Pinkie Pie!” Twilight called out rushing towards her. “Hi Twilight, have you talked to Rainbow Dash today? She is absolutely hilarious!” Pinkie said snorting and giggling. “Pinkie I don’t think that’s Rainbow Dash!” Pinkie looked over at the yellow RD, who just waved and then Pinkie looked back at Twilight. “Of course it is! She’s just really happy today!” “Pinkie then why is she yellow? There’s not an ounce of rainbow in her hair!” Pinkie looked back at yellow RD furrowed her brow, and stared hard at her. Yet Pinkie turned back to Twilight and shrugged her shoulders. Twilight sighed and threw her head down. “Follow me, both of you please.” The two simply bounced along following Twilight to her house. Twilight opened the door to her house and walked straight into the library. She had to figure out what was going on, something was not right with Rainbow Dash. However when Twilight walked into the library, there was already another purple pony sitting down with books all around her. “Um who are you?” Twilight questioned a bit nervous as to who broke into her house. “Oh hello Twilight, I’m please you have shown up I need your assistance.” “Whoa whoa what? You broke into my house, and just who are you.” Now Pinkie Pie and Yellow RD walked into the room, but both of them stopped into their tracks. “Well, Twilight this is the Ponyville library you simply made this your home, but it is still a public library. Second it should be obvious who I am, I am Rainbow Dash; well partly Rainbow Dash.” The other pony turned around to face Twilight. “Wait what? What do you mean?” Now Twilight was confused, she has never seen Rainbow Dash…well like Twilight before. “Earlier today Rainbow Dash was flying through the Everfree forest and she found a large glass pyramid, however when she approached the pyramid, she ended up trapping herself inside." "Then when sunlight came through the glass and hit Rainbow Dash, and some strange magic created six other Rainbow Dashes. So in an effort to help, I rushed over here to find something on the strange prism.” Twilight was still stunned at how articulate and intelligent purple Rainbow Dash sounded, but she decided to humor her, as it seemed like she really did want to help. “Okay, um so did you discover anything?” “Yes actually.” Purple RD said as she flew over and took a book from the pile. She held up the book in front of Twilight, which reveled a strange old drawing of a glass pyramid on a hill. “Legend says that this prism has the ability to trap ponies inside, and once white light reflects through, it separates the very natures that make up the pony trapped inside.” Twilight looked at the book and a sketched on the next stage was a pony trapped inside a triangle, with six different colored ponies escaping through the opening. “The books says that if we return all the different personas of Rainbow Dash to the pyramid that it will fuse them back into one again.” Twilight read further down the page and gasped. “Wait, it says here that if we don’t return all of Rainbow Dash’s personalities before sundown that the original Rainbow Dash with disappear forever!” “Yes unfortunately that’s the only hazard so we shouldn’t waste too much time here.” “Right, so there are six Rainbow Dashes, we have two now and I saw one earlier, we need to track down the others.” Twilight said. “Where do we start?” Asked Pinkie Pie still bouncing all around. Twilight opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it not sure what to say. “Uh, I uh…” Then Purple RD stepped forward. “I have an idea.” She whispered to Twilight. “Yellow Rainbow Dash?” “Yes Purple Rainbow?” she responded gigging at having a conversation with herself. “We’re going to play a game.” “Oh, I love games I always win at games, what game are we gonna play? Is it hide and seek, or how about Red Rover or maybe-“ Purple RD put her hoof up to stop Yellow RD from talking further. Twilight was still shocked as it was like having an exact clone of Pinkie Pie. “No, we’re going to do a little scavenger hunt. We’re looking for all the other Rainbow Dashes, you have to find them all and bring them back to us okay?” “Oh this gonna be so much fun! Come on Pinkie Pie let’s go!” “Right behind you Yellow RD!” Both ponies hopped out of the Library at break neck speeds.”' “You think they’ll be okay?” Twilight asked. “Actually I have no idea…lets go look for a Rainbow Dash.” “Right.” Twilight said walking out with the Purple RD. Familiar StrangersWanna Race? Twilight searched the ground, while Purple RD combed the skies, but after thirty minutes of searching they had seen any pony resembling Rainbow Dash. “Still nothing?” Twilight called up. “Nope…wait, wait I think I see something!” Just as she said that a Sonic Rainboom was painted across the sky from the distance, yet it was only a solid green color. “You should go check-“ “I’m gonna go check that out!” Purple RD interrupted her. Twilight furrowed her brow and ran in the direction of the Sonic Rainboom. When Purple RD arrived where the ray of light had come from, she searched high and low for the culprit and eventually after a minute or two a green pony came zipping past her, causing her to spin around uncontrollably. After getting herself situated again Purple Rainbow Dash saw the green Pegasus weaving between trees and doing loops in the air at incredible speeds. Eventually the green blur stopped in front of Purple RD. “Hey you’ve gotta be fast right? Come on I’ll race ya, ready set go!” And just like that the pony was gone in a dash. “Did you find something?” Asked Twilight finally able to catch up to her. “We’ll yes I think I found Rainbow Dash’s competitive nature!” Purple RD called back. “Well hurry up and catch her before she gets away!” “It’s no use, even though we’re technically the same pony, she’s basically wired to win. I’d never be able to catch her, we need to think of something else!” Twilight thought for a minute, and an idea popped into her head. “Hey come back down we need to get some help real quick! Applejack ran behind Twilight and Purple RD flew at pace with them. Applejack had been given the short version of the story and rushed along with the two purple ponies to help. Purple RD shot up into the sky and looked around the for green blur, and after a moment she noticed her flying high in the sky. “Hey Green Rainbow Dash, you wanna have a race!” Purple RD called out to her. Within an instant she was floating in front of her ready to go at the sound of a whistle. “Finally someone who can actually keep up to me! Where we flying to?” “Oh no, I’m not the one you’re going to race; it’s AppleJack.” “AppleJack? Psh no way, I’m not gonna waste my time racing that slow poke!” Green RD said starting to fly away. “Well that’s okay if you’re afraid, I mean you wouldn’t want to look foolish loosing.” The green pony stopped and turned around getting right in her counterpart’s face. “I never loose! Bring it on!” “Okay, but it’s going to be a hoof race, no wings.” “No problem,” Green RD said with the upmost confidence. After a few moments of preparation, AppleJack finally pulled tight the rope binding down Green RD’s wings tight enough so she wouldn’t slip out. “All right, ya’ll ready?” Applejack asked. “Just give me a countdown!” Both ponies took their starting positions and dug their hooves into the dirt. “Ready, set, and GO!” AppleJack yelled. Both ponies trampled off through the forest path. Even though RD was a pegasus she still had to speed and stamina on land, and was still a challenge for an athletic earth pony like AJ. However AJ was not about to be beat by the simple shadow of her best friend. AJ turned on the juice and quickly gained the advantage over Green RD. This only frustrated Green RD further and caused her to put all the energy she could muster into sprinting ahead of AppleJack. Eventually regaining the lead, she looked back to gloat at the trailing orange pony, yet as she deterred her attention AppleJack called out “Now!” From above the trees Purple RD and Twilight jumped down onto the green pony and trapped her in a net. Green RD struggled to get free yet she couldn’t break the snare and the rope was tied to tight for her to get off so her air power was useless. “Alright, way to go AppleJack!” Twilight exclaimed. “Thanks…it was…nothing.” AppleJack said as she jogged over; out of breath. “Well this is one down and we have three others to go. Hopefully Pinkie Pie and Yellow Rainbow Dash had as much luck as we did.” Wanna Race?Special Touch Pinkie was enjoying the new side of Rainbow Dash; it was like having a sister who was as goofy and silly as her. The two ponies were bouncing perfectly out of sync, one would go up and the other would go down and vice versa. However after thirty minutes of searching through the forest, they had not found a single shred of evidence of any of the other Rainbow Dashes. “Oh I hope we find one of your sisters soon, or else our Rainbow Dash will be lost forever!” Pinkie said finally stopping. “Don’t worry Pinkie I’m sure we’re bound to find one soon enough, we just gotta keep our heads together and focus!” Yellow RD said reassuring Pinkie. “That’s why I like you Yellow RD! You’re always looking at the positives in a situation.” Just then Pinkie heard a giggling in the distance. “Wait did you hear that?” Pinkie asked. “Hear what?” “Listen.” Again a giggling could be heard in the distance. Pinkie flattened herself on the ground and motioned for Yellow RD to follow, which she did. Pinkie followed the sound of the laughter, and after pulling away some brush Pinkie ended up finding a blue pegasus that was covered in birds and butterflies. It was a Rainbow Dash all right, Pinkie thought; however her blue coat was much darker than her usual cyan. When Yellow RD joined Pinkie and took notice of one of her sisters she called out “Look there’s one, get her!” The birds and butterflies around Blue RD took off, and whipping around to see Pinkie and Yellow RD she became frightened and flew off, sticking low to the ground. “Quick we gotta chase her!” Pinkie yelled. Both of the ponies followed her, but Blue RD being afraid made her quick and impossible to catch. Luckily she followed low to the ground so she wasn’t out of eyesight. Eventually Yellow RD and Pinkie chased the blue peagsus up a tree and she simply took hold of one of the branches. “Don’t worry I’ll get her!” Yellow RD said as she started to fly off, however Pinkie grabbed her stopping her climb. “Wait hang on we can’t go up there!” “Why not?” Yellow RD asked confused. “Because we need to bring her back with us, and she’s not going to come easily if she’s all freaked out. We need to handle this gently.” Both ponies stopped and put their hooves to their chins. After sitting and thinking for a little bit, Pinkie sat up excited. “I have an idea! You stay here and make sure Blue RD doesn’t go anywhere! We need to get an expert on this!” “Roger dodger!” Yellow RD saluted her hoof and sat keping a close eye on the pony in the tree. Fluttershy walked up to the tree where Yellow Rainbow Dash was standing guard and looked up to see a small blue dot in the air. “She’s up there, we need you to convince her to come down.” Pinkie Pie told Fluttershy. “We’ll okay, but I’m much better with cute little animals. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do the same with Rainbow Dash.” “Just think of her as a frightened little bird, okay?” Pinkie Pie said with a smile. “Okay.” Fluttershy started to make her way up the tree floating between branches trying to reach Blue RD. Yet when she was almost three quarters of the way there Yellow RD called out to her, “Hey Fluttershy! Make sure not to look down because you’re really high up!” “What?” Fluttershy asked, but it was too late as she looked down realizing how incredibly high she was. Now frightened by the height, she quickly buckled and attached herself to one of the tree branches. “It’s too high!” Fluttershy squeaked. “Great, now we have to get both of them down!” Yellow RD said. “Hang on, lets see if this can still work.” Pinkie Pie whispered. Fluttershy was scared and shaking, but she remembered that Rainbow Dash was in trouble so she mustered up some courage and called out to the Blue Rainbow Dash. “Um…excuse me, Blue Rainbow Dash?” “What?” she called back. “Do- do you think you can come and sit on this branch with me? I’m pretty scared of heights too and I don’t wanna be up here by myself.” Blue RD looked down at Fluttershy and noticed that she was shaking as bad as she was. She felt bad, and didn’t want to be alone either so she said, “Oh-Okay, hang on.” Blue Rainbow Dash slowly descended down the tree and attached herself to the same branch Fluttershy was on. “Thank y-you.” Fluttershy said under her breath. “No problem.” Blue RD muttered back. There was a long awkward pause and neither ponies looked each other in the eye. Rainbow Dash was one of Fluttershy’s best friends sure, but her Rainbow Dash was courageous enough for the both of them. Now Fluttershy had to be the courageous one and it made her nervous. A butterfly came and rested on top of Fluttershy’s hoof. This caught Blue RD’s attention and giggled as it flapped its wings slowly. Fluttershy saw this and held out her hoof to Blue RD, and the pony held out her own. The butterfly walked across Fluttershy’s hoof onto Blue RD’s, and she smiled as she held it in close to examine it. After a moment the butterfly flew away and both ponies giggled. Blue RD turned over and looked at Fluttershy smiling. “You know, I bet if we help each other. Getting down might not be as scary.” Fluttershy said. “Ye- yeah, I think you’re right.” Both ponies stood up on the branch and took hold of one another, they flapped their wings lifting up off of the branch and slowly descended toward the ground. Yellow RD and Pinkie Pie were waiting at the bottom for them, and when both pegasus’s Blue RD hid behind Fluttershy. “She’s okay now, she was just frightened is all.” Fluttershy said as Blue RD nodded her head. “Well we should find Twilight now and tell her we got another RD.” Pinkie Pie said. Yet at that moment Twilight, Purple RD and AppleJack dragging along the Green RD in the net showed up. “Oh Pinkie good you found another of Rainbow Dash’s personalities.” “Yup, but we needed the special Fluttershy touch.” Pinkie said motioning to Fluttershy who blushed and looked away. “Good we’re going to need all the help we can get. Quick how many Rainbow Dash’s are we missing?” “Let’s see,” Purple RD started. “We have her Happiness, Athleticism, Intelligence and I’m guessing that one is her fear correct?” Pinkie Pie and Yellow RD nodded. “I know we are still missing her anger, but what’s the last one we’re forgetting?” Twilight asked. All the ponies stopped to think for a second and then like a tiny mouse Blue RD spoke up “I may know.” Special TouchRainbow Dash vs Rainbow Dash Both Yellow RD and Purple RD searched around the clouds, but were having no luck. They were almost near Cloudsdale and now were beginning to get worried. “Maybe she was wrong.” Yellow RD said. “No I think she was spot on, we just need to find her.” Purple RD combed the skies again and noticed an orange dot on a white cloud. “Aha! Found her.” Both pegasi went down after the orange speck, eventually they approached a sleeping Orange Rainbow Dash. “Rainbow Dash, oh Rainbow Dash.” Purple RD said softly, as she nudged her. “WAKEY WAKEY RAINBOW DASH!” Yellow RD cried out! Flinching at her outcry Orange RD rolled over and rubbed her eyes. “What do you want? It’s not even night time yet.” She said lazily. “Rainbow Dash, we need you to come with us. You’re needed for something.” “I don’t wanna, sounds like work,” Orange RD said rolling back over. Yellow RD and Purple RD exchanged looks and looked back at the napping pony. “This is serious Rainbow Dash! We need you!” Yellow RD told her. “Just get me tomorrow, maybe.” Purple RD sighed and looked at Yellow RD, which caused her to come up with an idea. Some how Yellow RD was still able to move with a spring in her step even now carrying the lazy orange pony on her back. Now they were in a big group, AppleJack still dragging Green RD, and Blue RD sticking right at Fluttershy’s side. “Okay good now we need to track down the Red Rainbow Dash from earlier and we’ll have them all.” Twilight said, as she looked toward the sunset nervously as it appeared they only have a few hours left of sunlight. “Keep your eyes out for a path of destruction anywhere,” Purple RD said to the rest of the group. She flew up in the air and looked over Ponyville and the forest as they were walking at the edge of the two. “Anything?” AppleJack asked. “Nope, sky’s are clear!” Purple RD called back. “This is bad, what if we can’t find her in time? What will happen to all these other Rainbow Dashes?” Twilight questioned. The group continued to walk along the edge of the forest, however Pinkie stopped and stared off into space. No one seemed to notice except Yellow RD who turned around and walked up to her. “What’s the matter Pinkie, tired?” “No…I’m getting a tingling.” Pinkie Pie’s tail twitched back and forth and then Pinkie yelled out, “Everyone DUCK!” The group stopped and did as they were instructed and just as they hit the dirt a Red streak flew over them causing a gust of wind to follow. “What was that?” AppleJack RD yelled as she saw the streak pass by. “It was Red Rainbow Dash!” Twilight said over the gust of wind. “And she’s fast!” “Stupid Butterflies! Where’d you go? Come back here!” Red RD cried out, as she seemingly chased nothing. “I guess when ya’ll are fueled with anger it gets yah going purdy fast.” AppleJack said as all the pony’s eyes were trained following Red RD. “We need someone to catch her! She’ll never fall for a trick like the Green Rainbow Dash, and she won’t listen to anypony!” Twilight said. “None of us are fast enough, even if we tried we’d never be able to catch up to her all roused up like that.” Purple RD replied. Yellow RD watched the red blur go across the sky and threw the buildings of Ponyville and the purple ponies conversation gave her an idea. “Wait a sec, I have an idea!” Yellow RD called out. She walked over to the net holding Green RD. “Hey Rainbow Dash!” “What?” Green RD said with a scowl on her face. “There are rumors going around about you!” “Oh yeah? What about?” Green RD asked looking more intrigued. “Do you see that Red Rainbow Dash up there?” “Yeah?” “Well they say that she’s the fastest in all of Ponyville and that you’d never be able to catch her!” “Oh YEAH?” Green RD said as she stood up getting agitated. “That’s right, but hey; if you can catch her and bring her with us, you’ll win our little scavenger hunt we have going on also.” Yellow RD whispered. “Two victories in one! Oh I’m going to wipe the floor with you losers, just watch me!” Yellow RD turned toward Twilight and the gang motioning toward the green pony. The group exchanged looks, and finally Twilight said with a sign “We have no other option.” AppleJack helped Green RD out of the net and untied the rope that held her wings in place. The Green Rainbow Dash closed her eyes and stretched her wings out wide. She popped her neck and tensed up her muscles. She dug a her hooves into the dirt and with one power flap of her wings she bolted up into the sky and took a sharp turn in the direction of the Red Streak in the distance. The take off knocked the group backwards onto the ground and caused Blue RD to go into a nervous fit. “I sure hope this works,” Twilight said under her breath. Green RD was gaining fast on Red RD, quickly getting close enough to reach out and grab her hind hoof. However when Red RD saw the green pegasus trying to grab her, it only enraged her further. “Get off of me!” She cried giving a swift kick to the face to Green RD causing her to go tumbling in another direction. Red RD sped off going faster than before. Green Rainbow Dash recovered and rubbed her head in pain. “Oh no you don’t!” She said and flew after the Red streak. This time Green Rainbow Dash couldn’t easily catch up to her. Red RD darted back and forth; zig zagging in the sky, pulling full loops and moves some peagsi could only dream about. From the ground the group struggled to keep watch of both ponies flying through the air, as they were only slim streams of color across the sky. Green Rainbow Dash flapped her wings as fast as she could manage, but still Red RD stayed just out of hoofs reach. An idea popped into Green RD’s head. “Hey Red Rainbow Dash your Dad’s calling you, he wants you home now!” The Red Rainbow Dashed turned her head and cried out, “He’s not the boss of me! No pony is!” Yet as she said this, it slowed her down just enough so that Green RD was able to pounce on top of her. At the ground, Twilight and her friends watched as the two peagsi went crashing to the ground in the distance. “Come one!” Twilight yelled as the group raced over to find ground zero. Rainbow Dash vs Rainbow DashI Won They searched all over going deeper and deeper into the Everfree forest looking for Green and Red RD. Eventually it was Fluttershy who found them and called the ponies over. They saw Green Rainbow Dash wrestling on top of the red pony struggling to keep her down. “Get offa me, get offa me!” Red RD cried. “No way, I won!” AppleJack tied down Red RD’s wings tight and they put her in the net. “Oh thank Celestia we got them all!” Twilight said exhaling. “Twilight look!” Pinkie called out. Everypony looked at the direction Pinkie was pointing and saw that the sun was starting to set over the mountains. “Oh no! Rainbow Dash!” AppleJack exclaimed. “Here I can get us to the pyramid, follow me!” Purple RD said leading the way with all the ponies following after her. The pyramid was sitting just on the hill just where the multicolored ponies left it. Rainbow Dash was laying inside feeling weak, her energy draining by the second. “Rainbow Dash!” Twilight exclaimed. “Twilight?” Rainbow Dash mumbled as she opened her eyes to see a blurry version of the purple unicorn. “Don’t worry were going to help you!” “I feel kind of empty Twilight.” “Don’t panic! AppleJack!” Twilight called to her. “I gotcha.” AppleJack threw the net with Red RD into the pyramid. Yellow RD turned toward Pinkie Pie before she went into the glass prism. “I had a lot of fun today Pinkie, thanks so much!” “No problem Yellow Rainbow Dash! Come back and visit any time!” The Yellow pegasus entered the structure still having her orange counterpart on top of her. Green Rainbow Dash turned toward AppleJack and held out a hoof. “Care for a rematch sometime?” AppleJack looked for as second and bumped hooves. “Any day partner.” “Um…Fluttershy?” Blue RD asked as she came out from behind her. “Yes?” Fluttershy asked. “Thank you for being brave for me.” Fluttershy smiled and nudged her forward. All of Rainbow Dashes walked inside, except for the purple pegasus. “Thank you so much, we might have never been able to do this without you.” Twilight said to her. “It was nothing really, but two smart brains are better than one sometimes.” Purple RD replied and gave her wink. She entered the threshold of the prism, and as soon as she did all the other ponies began to float and glow. They all became a solid color of light and disappeared into the pale Rainbow Dash. There was a flash of bright light that blinded Twilight and her friends, and after a moment Rainbow Dash was expelled from the pyramid and fell on the ground in front of the others. She got up and shook her head bringing her attention toward her friends. “I hate geometry,” she said. Twilight, AppleJack, Pinkie and Fluttershy all cheered and jumped onto Rainbow Dash giving her a tight group hug. “Good to have you back Rainbow Dash!” Twilight said. “In one peace that is!” AppleJack followed up. The group of girls giggled and separated from each other. The sun had completely set and it was dusk out. The girls (even Pinkie Pie) were tired from their adventure. They started quickly so they could get out of the Everfree Forest before it was completely night out, however just before it was out of sight, Rainbow Dash took one last look at the pyramid and then re-joined her friends. She is absolutely hilarious!” Pinkie said snorting and giggling. “Pinkie I don’t think that’s Rainbow Dash!” Pinkie looked over at the yellow RD, who just waved and then Pinkie looked back at Twilight. “Of course it is! She’s just really happy today!” “Pinkie then why is she yellow? There’s not an ounce of rainbow in her hair!” Pinkie looked back at yellow RD furrowed her brow, and stared hard at her. Yet Pinkie turned back to Twilight and shrugged her shoulders. Twilight sighed and threw her head down. “Follow me, both of you please.” The two simply bounced along following Twilight to her house. Twilight opened the door to her house and walked straight into the library. She had to figure out what was going on, something was not right with Rainbow Dash. However when Twilight walked into the library, there was already another purple pony sitting down with books all around her. “Um who are you?” Twilight questioned a bit nervous as to who broke into her house. “Oh hello Twilight, I’m please you have shown up I need your assistance.” “Whoa whoa what? You broke into my house, and just who are you.” Now Pinkie Pie and Yellow RD walked into the room, but both of them stopped into their tracks. “Well, Twilight this is the Ponyville library you simply made this your home, but it is still a public library. Second it should be obvious who I am, I am Rainbow Dash; well partly Rainbow Dash.” The other pony turned around to face Twilight. “Wait what? What do you mean?” Now Twilight was confused, she has never seen Rainbow Dash…well like Twilight before. “Earlier today Rainbow Dash was flying through the Everfree forest and she found a large glass pyramid, however when she approached the pyramid, she ended up trapping herself inside." "Then when sunlight came through the glass and hit Rainbow Dash, and some strange magic created six other Rainbow Dashes. So in an effort to help, I rushed over here to find something on the strange prism.” Twilight was still stunned at how articulate and intelligent purple Rainbow Dash sounded, but she decided to humor her, as it seemed like she really did want to help. “Okay, um so did you discover anything?” “Yes actually.” Purple RD said as she flew over and took a book from the pile. She held up the book in front of Twilight, which reveled a strange old drawing of a glass pyramid on a hill. “Legend says that this prism has the ability to trap ponies inside, and once white light reflects through, it separates the very natures that make up the pony trapped inside.” Twilight looked at the book and a sketched on the next stage was a pony trapped inside a triangle, with six different colored ponies escaping through the opening. “The books says that if we return all the different personas of Rainbow Dash to the pyramid that it will fuse them back into one again.” Twilight read further down the page and gasped. “Wait, it says here that if we don’t return all of Rainbow Dash’s personalities before sundown that the original Rainbow Dash with disappear forever!” “Yes unfortunately that’s the only hazard so we shouldn’t waste too much time here.” “Right, so there are six Rainbow Dashes, we have two now and I saw one earlier, we need to track down the others.” Twilight said. “Where do we start?” Asked Pinkie Pie still bouncing all around. Twilight opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it not sure what to say. “Uh, I uh…” Then Purple RD stepped forward. “I have an idea.” She whispered to Twilight. “Yellow Rainbow Dash?” “Yes Purple Rainbow?” she responded gigging at having a conversation with herself. “We’re going to play a game.” “Oh, I love games I always win at games, what game are we gonna play? Is it hide and seek, or how about Red Rover or maybe-“ Purple RD put her hoof up to stop Yellow RD from talking further. Twilight was still shocked as it was like having an exact clone of Pinkie Pie. “No, we’re going to do a little scavenger hunt. We’re looking for all the other Rainbow Dashes, you have to find them all and bring them back to us okay?” “Oh this gonna be so much fun! Come on Pinkie Pie let’s go!” “Right behind you Yellow RD!” Both ponies hopped out of the Library at break neck speeds.”' “You think they’ll be okay?” Twilight asked. “Actually I have no idea…lets go look for a Rainbow Dash.” “Right.” Twilight said walking out with the Purple RD.
Familiar StrangersWanna Race? Twilight searched the ground, while Purple RD combed the skies, but after thirty minutes of searching they had seen any pony resembling Rainbow Dash. “Still nothing?” Twilight called up. “Nope…wait, wait I think I see something!” Just as she said that a Sonic Rainboom was painted across the sky from the distance, yet it was only a solid green color. “You should go check-“ “I’m gonna go check that out!” Purple RD interrupted her. Twilight furrowed her brow and ran in the direction of the Sonic Rainboom. When Purple RD arrived where the ray of light had come from, she searched high and low for the culprit and eventually after a minute or two a green pony came zipping past her, causing her to spin around uncontrollably. After getting herself situated again Purple Rainbow Dash saw the green Pegasus weaving between trees and doing loops in the air at incredible speeds. Eventually the green blur stopped in front of Purple RD. “Hey you’ve gotta be fast right? Come on I’ll race ya, ready set go!” And just like that the pony was gone in a dash. “Did you find something?” Asked Twilight finally able to catch up to her. “We’ll yes I think I found Rainbow Dash’s competitive nature!” Purple RD called back. “Well hurry up and catch her before she gets away!” “It’s no use, even though we’re technically the same pony, she’s basically wired to win. I’d never be able to catch her, we need to think of something else!” Twilight thought for a minute, and an idea popped into her head. “Hey come back down we need to get some help real quick! Applejack ran behind Twilight and Purple RD flew at pace with them. Applejack had been given the short version of the story and rushed along with the two purple ponies to help. Purple RD shot up into the sky and looked around the for green blur, and after a moment she noticed her flying high in the sky. “Hey Green Rainbow Dash, you wanna have a race!” Purple RD called out to her. Within an instant she was floating in front of her ready to go at the sound of a whistle. “Finally someone who can actually keep up to me! Where we flying to?” “Oh no, I’m not the one you’re going to race; it’s AppleJack.” “AppleJack? Psh no way, I’m not gonna waste my time racing that slow poke!” Green RD said starting to fly away. “Well that’s okay if you’re afraid, I mean you wouldn’t want to look foolish loosing.” The green pony stopped and turned around getting right in her counterpart’s face. “I never loose! Bring it on!” “Okay, but it’s going to be a hoof race, no wings.” “No problem,” Green RD said with the upmost confidence. After a few moments of preparation, AppleJack finally pulled tight the rope binding down Green RD’s wings tight enough so she wouldn’t slip out. “All right, ya’ll ready?” Applejack asked. “Just give me a countdown!” Both ponies took their starting positions and dug their hooves into the dirt. “Ready, set, and GO!” AppleJack yelled. Both ponies trampled off through the forest path. Even though RD was a pegasus she still had to speed and stamina on land, and was still a challenge for an athletic earth pony like AJ. However AJ was not about to be beat by the simple shadow of her best friend. AJ turned on the juice and quickly gained the advantage over Green RD. This only frustrated Green RD further and caused her to put all the energy she could muster into sprinting ahead of AppleJack. Eventually regaining the lead, she looked back to gloat at the trailing orange pony, yet as she deterred her attention AppleJack called out “Now!” From above the trees Purple RD and Twilight jumped down onto the green pony and trapped her in a net. Green RD struggled to get free yet she couldn’t break the snare and the rope was tied to tight for her to get off so her air power was useless. “Alright, way to go AppleJack!” Twilight exclaimed. “Thanks…it was…nothing.” AppleJack said as she jogged over; out of breath. “Well this is one down and we have three others to go. Hopefully Pinkie Pie and Yellow Rainbow Dash had as much luck as we did.”
Wanna Race?Special Touch Pinkie was enjoying the new side of Rainbow Dash; it was like having a sister who was as goofy and silly as her. The two ponies were bouncing perfectly out of sync, one would go up and the other would go down and vice versa. However after thirty minutes of searching through the forest, they had not found a single shred of evidence of any of the other Rainbow Dashes. “Oh I hope we find one of your sisters soon, or else our Rainbow Dash will be lost forever!” Pinkie said finally stopping. “Don’t worry Pinkie I’m sure we’re bound to find one soon enough, we just gotta keep our heads together and focus!” Yellow RD said reassuring Pinkie. “That’s why I like you Yellow RD! You’re always looking at the positives in a situation.” Just then Pinkie heard a giggling in the distance. “Wait did you hear that?” Pinkie asked. “Hear what?” “Listen.” Again a giggling could be heard in the distance. Pinkie flattened herself on the ground and motioned for Yellow RD to follow, which she did. Pinkie followed the sound of the laughter, and after pulling away some brush Pinkie ended up finding a blue pegasus that was covered in birds and butterflies. It was a Rainbow Dash all right, Pinkie thought; however her blue coat was much darker than her usual cyan. When Yellow RD joined Pinkie and took notice of one of her sisters she called out “Look there’s one, get her!” The birds and butterflies around Blue RD took off, and whipping around to see Pinkie and Yellow RD she became frightened and flew off, sticking low to the ground. “Quick we gotta chase her!” Pinkie yelled. Both of the ponies followed her, but Blue RD being afraid made her quick and impossible to catch. Luckily she followed low to the ground so she wasn’t out of eyesight. Eventually Yellow RD and Pinkie chased the blue peagsus up a tree and she simply took hold of one of the branches. “Don’t worry I’ll get her!” Yellow RD said as she started to fly off, however Pinkie grabbed her stopping her climb. “Wait hang on we can’t go up there!” “Why not?” Yellow RD asked confused. “Because we need to bring her back with us, and she’s not going to come easily if she’s all freaked out. We need to handle this gently.” Both ponies stopped and put their hooves to their chins. After sitting and thinking for a little bit, Pinkie sat up excited. “I have an idea! You stay here and make sure Blue RD doesn’t go anywhere! We need to get an expert on this!” “Roger dodger!” Yellow RD saluted her hoof and sat keping a close eye on the pony in the tree. Fluttershy walked up to the tree where Yellow Rainbow Dash was standing guard and looked up to see a small blue dot in the air. “She’s up there, we need you to convince her to come down.” Pinkie Pie told Fluttershy. “We’ll okay, but I’m much better with cute little animals. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do the same with Rainbow Dash.” “Just think of her as a frightened little bird, okay?” Pinkie Pie said with a smile. “Okay.” Fluttershy started to make her way up the tree floating between branches trying to reach Blue RD. Yet when she was almost three quarters of the way there Yellow RD called out to her, “Hey Fluttershy! Make sure not to look down because you’re really high up!” “What?” Fluttershy asked, but it was too late as she looked down realizing how incredibly high she was. Now frightened by the height, she quickly buckled and attached herself to one of the tree branches. “It’s too high!” Fluttershy squeaked. “Great, now we have to get both of them down!” Yellow RD said. “Hang on, lets see if this can still work.” Pinkie Pie whispered. Fluttershy was scared and shaking, but she remembered that Rainbow Dash was in trouble so she mustered up some courage and called out to the Blue Rainbow Dash. “Um…excuse me, Blue Rainbow Dash?” “What?” she called back. “Do- do you think you can come and sit on this branch with me? I’m pretty scared of heights too and I don’t wanna be up here by myself.” Blue RD looked down at Fluttershy and noticed that she was shaking as bad as she was. She felt bad, and didn’t want to be alone either so she said, “Oh-Okay, hang on.” Blue Rainbow Dash slowly descended down the tree and attached herself to the same branch Fluttershy was on. “Thank y-you.” Fluttershy said under her breath. “No problem.” Blue RD muttered back. There was a long awkward pause and neither ponies looked each other in the eye. Rainbow Dash was one of Fluttershy’s best friends sure, but her Rainbow Dash was courageous enough for the both of them. Now Fluttershy had to be the courageous one and it made her nervous. A butterfly came and rested on top of Fluttershy’s hoof. This caught Blue RD’s attention and giggled as it flapped its wings slowly. Fluttershy saw this and held out her hoof to Blue RD, and the pony held out her own. The butterfly walked across Fluttershy’s hoof onto Blue RD’s, and she smiled as she held it in close to examine it. After a moment the butterfly flew away and both ponies giggled. Blue RD turned over and looked at Fluttershy smiling. “You know, I bet if we help each other. Getting down might not be as scary.” Fluttershy said. “Ye- yeah, I think you’re right.” Both ponies stood up on the branch and took hold of one another, they flapped their wings lifting up off of the branch and slowly descended toward the ground. Yellow RD and Pinkie Pie were waiting at the bottom for them, and when both pegasus’s Blue RD hid behind Fluttershy. “She’s okay now, she was just frightened is all.” Fluttershy said as Blue RD nodded her head. “Well we should find Twilight now and tell her we got another RD.” Pinkie Pie said. Yet at that moment Twilight, Purple RD and AppleJack dragging along the Green RD in the net showed up. “Oh Pinkie good you found another of Rainbow Dash’s personalities.” “Yup, but we needed the special Fluttershy touch.” Pinkie said motioning to Fluttershy who blushed and looked away. “Good we’re going to need all the help we can get. Quick how many Rainbow Dash’s are we missing?” “Let’s see,” Purple RD started. “We have her Happiness, Athleticism, Intelligence and I’m guessing that one is her fear correct?” Pinkie Pie and Yellow RD nodded. “I know we are still missing her anger, but what’s the last one we’re forgetting?” Twilight asked. All the ponies stopped to think for a second and then like a tiny mouse Blue RD spoke up “I may know.”
Special TouchRainbow Dash vs Rainbow Dash Both Yellow RD and Purple RD searched around the clouds, but were having no luck. They were almost near Cloudsdale and now were beginning to get worried. “Maybe she was wrong.” Yellow RD said. “No I think she was spot on, we just need to find her.” Purple RD combed the skies again and noticed an orange dot on a white cloud. “Aha! Found her.” Both pegasi went down after the orange speck, eventually they approached a sleeping Orange Rainbow Dash. “Rainbow Dash, oh Rainbow Dash.” Purple RD said softly, as she nudged her. “WAKEY WAKEY RAINBOW DASH!” Yellow RD cried out! Flinching at her outcry Orange RD rolled over and rubbed her eyes. “What do you want? It’s not even night time yet.” She said lazily. “Rainbow Dash, we need you to come with us. You’re needed for something.” “I don’t wanna, sounds like work,” Orange RD said rolling back over. Yellow RD and Purple RD exchanged looks and looked back at the napping pony. “This is serious Rainbow Dash! We need you!” Yellow RD told her. “Just get me tomorrow, maybe.” Purple RD sighed and looked at Yellow RD, which caused her to come up with an idea. Some how Yellow RD was still able to move with a spring in her step even now carrying the lazy orange pony on her back. Now they were in a big group, AppleJack still dragging Green RD, and Blue RD sticking right at Fluttershy’s side. “Okay good now we need to track down the Red Rainbow Dash from earlier and we’ll have them all.” Twilight said, as she looked toward the sunset nervously as it appeared they only have a few hours left of sunlight. “Keep your eyes out for a path of destruction anywhere,” Purple RD said to the rest of the group. She flew up in the air and looked over Ponyville and the forest as they were walking at the edge of the two. “Anything?” AppleJack asked. “Nope, sky’s are clear!” Purple RD called back. “This is bad, what if we can’t find her in time? What will happen to all these other Rainbow Dashes?” Twilight questioned. The group continued to walk along the edge of the forest, however Pinkie stopped and stared off into space. No one seemed to notice except Yellow RD who turned around and walked up to her. “What’s the matter Pinkie, tired?” “No…I’m getting a tingling.” Pinkie Pie’s tail twitched back and forth and then Pinkie yelled out, “Everyone DUCK!” The group stopped and did as they were instructed and just as they hit the dirt a Red streak flew over them causing a gust of wind to follow. “What was that?” AppleJack RD yelled as she saw the streak pass by. “It was Red Rainbow Dash!” Twilight said over the gust of wind. “And she’s fast!” “Stupid Butterflies! Where’d you go? Come back here!” Red RD cried out, as she seemingly chased nothing. “I guess when ya’ll are fueled with anger it gets yah going purdy fast.” AppleJack said as all the pony’s eyes were trained following Red RD. “We need someone to catch her! She’ll never fall for a trick like the Green Rainbow Dash, and she won’t listen to anypony!” Twilight said. “None of us are fast enough, even if we tried we’d never be able to catch up to her all roused up like that.” Purple RD replied. Yellow RD watched the red blur go across the sky and threw the buildings of Ponyville and the purple ponies conversation gave her an idea. “Wait a sec, I have an idea!” Yellow RD called out. She walked over to the net holding Green RD. “Hey Rainbow Dash!” “What?” Green RD said with a scowl on her face. “There are rumors going around about you!” “Oh yeah? What about?” Green RD asked looking more intrigued. “Do you see that Red Rainbow Dash up there?” “Yeah?” “Well they say that she’s the fastest in all of Ponyville and that you’d never be able to catch her!” “Oh YEAH?” Green RD said as she stood up getting agitated. “That’s right, but hey; if you can catch her and bring her with us, you’ll win our little scavenger hunt we have going on also.” Yellow RD whispered. “Two victories in one! Oh I’m going to wipe the floor with you losers, just watch me!” Yellow RD turned toward Twilight and the gang motioning toward the green pony. The group exchanged looks, and finally Twilight said with a sign “We have no other option.” AppleJack helped Green RD out of the net and untied the rope that held her wings in place. The Green Rainbow Dash closed her eyes and stretched her wings out wide. She popped her neck and tensed up her muscles. She dug a her hooves into the dirt and with one power flap of her wings she bolted up into the sky and took a sharp turn in the direction of the Red Streak in the distance. The take off knocked the group backwards onto the ground and caused Blue RD to go into a nervous fit. “I sure hope this works,” Twilight said under her breath. Green RD was gaining fast on Red RD, quickly getting close enough to reach out and grab her hind hoof. However when Red RD saw the green pegasus trying to grab her, it only enraged her further. “Get off of me!” She cried giving a swift kick to the face to Green RD causing her to go tumbling in another direction. Red RD sped off going faster than before. Green Rainbow Dash recovered and rubbed her head in pain. “Oh no you don’t!” She said and flew after the Red streak. This time Green Rainbow Dash couldn’t easily catch up to her. Red RD darted back and forth; zig zagging in the sky, pulling full loops and moves some peagsi could only dream about. From the ground the group struggled to keep watch of both ponies flying through the air, as they were only slim streams of color across the sky. Green Rainbow Dash flapped her wings as fast as she could manage, but still Red RD stayed just out of hoofs reach. An idea popped into Green RD’s head. “Hey Red Rainbow Dash your Dad’s calling you, he wants you home now!” The Red Rainbow Dashed turned her head and cried out, “He’s not the boss of me! No pony is!” Yet as she said this, it slowed her down just enough so that Green RD was able to pounce on top of her. At the ground, Twilight and her friends watched as the two peagsi went crashing to the ground in the distance. “Come one!” Twilight yelled as the group raced over to find ground zero.
Rainbow Dash vs Rainbow DashI Won They searched all over going deeper and deeper into the Everfree forest looking for Green and Red RD. Eventually it was Fluttershy who found them and called the ponies over. They saw Green Rainbow Dash wrestling on top of the red pony struggling to keep her down. “Get offa me, get offa me!” Red RD cried. “No way, I won!” AppleJack tied down Red RD’s wings tight and they put her in the net. “Oh thank Celestia we got them all!” Twilight said exhaling. “Twilight look!” Pinkie called out. Everypony looked at the direction Pinkie was pointing and saw that the sun was starting to set over the mountains. “Oh no! Rainbow Dash!” AppleJack exclaimed. “Here I can get us to the pyramid, follow me!” Purple RD said leading the way with all the ponies following after her. The pyramid was sitting just on the hill just where the multicolored ponies left it. Rainbow Dash was laying inside feeling weak, her energy draining by the second. “Rainbow Dash!” Twilight exclaimed. “Twilight?” Rainbow Dash mumbled as she opened her eyes to see a blurry version of the purple unicorn. “Don’t worry were going to help you!” “I feel kind of empty Twilight.” “Don’t panic! AppleJack!” Twilight called to her. “I gotcha.” AppleJack threw the net with Red RD into the pyramid. Yellow RD turned toward Pinkie Pie before she went into the glass prism. “I had a lot of fun today Pinkie, thanks so much!” “No problem Yellow Rainbow Dash! Come back and visit any time!” The Yellow pegasus entered the structure still having her orange counterpart on top of her. Green Rainbow Dash turned toward AppleJack and held out a hoof. “Care for a rematch sometime?” AppleJack looked for as second and bumped hooves. “Any day partner.” “Um…Fluttershy?” Blue RD asked as she came out from behind her. “Yes?” Fluttershy asked. “Thank you for being brave for me.” Fluttershy smiled and nudged her forward. All of Rainbow Dashes walked inside, except for the purple pegasus. “Thank you so much, we might have never been able to do this without you.” Twilight said to her. “It was nothing really, but two smart brains are better than one sometimes.” Purple RD replied and gave her wink. She entered the threshold of the prism, and as soon as she did all the other ponies began to float and glow. They all became a solid color of light and disappeared into the pale Rainbow Dash. There was a flash of bright light that blinded Twilight and her friends, and after a moment Rainbow Dash was expelled from the pyramid and fell on the ground in front of the others. She got up and shook her head bringing her attention toward her friends. “I hate geometry,” she said. Twilight, AppleJack, Pinkie and Fluttershy all cheered and jumped onto Rainbow Dash giving her a tight group hug. “Good to have you back Rainbow Dash!” Twilight said. “In one peace that is!” AppleJack followed up. The group of girls giggled and separated from each other. The sun had completely set and it was dusk out. The girls (even Pinkie Pie) were tired from their adventure. They started quickly so they could get out of the Everfree Forest before it was completely night out, however just before it was out of sight, Rainbow Dash took one last look at the pyramid and then re-joined her friends.
