The Life's Story Of Yin And Yang
Chapter 1: Born Into A Chaotic world
Load Full StoryIn a land that many ponies now call Equestria, two ponies, a mare and her husband, rest near a warm fire in their brick home. The stallion, a blue unicorn with a black and yellow mane and tail, rested his head gently on his wife, who was a yellow pegasus with a black mane and tail. A sense of peace, happiness, and excitement washed over both of the ponies, for the mare was expectant for twin foals any day.
"Honey," the mare whispered to her husband Lightning Blast. The stallion sat upright and looked at his wife, who was gazing at her husband with excitement and fear in her eyes.
"What's wrong dear?" He asked his wife. Although he knew what was wrong, he still had to know if he was correct. "Is it time?" Lightning Blast whispered to his wife Lemon Drop. She looked at him and said the words that immediately made the stallion react.
"Yes it is."
8 Hours Later . . . . . .
At the hospital in the newly formed land, Lemon Drop held her newly born foals in her hooves. Both were fillies, however, both Lemon Drop and Lightning Blast were very surprised to how their new daughters looked. The first of the twins was a pure white filly with jet black hair, and was a unicorn. She had a curly mane and tail with a strange looking perfect white circle in the middle of her mane. Along with her strange mane and coat, the filly had bright green eyes, which, neither parent possessed.
The second daughter was much like the first twin, except instead of having a white coat of fur, she had gotten jet black. Her mane and tail were not like her sister's, but was more straight and was pure white except for a perfect black circle on her mane. And to top off the strange looks, her sister was not a unicorn, but instead she was a pegasus who fluttered her wings every now and then.
"Oh Lightning Blast, they're beautiful." Lemon Drop said to her husband as she gazed at her fillies.
"Yes they are honey, but what will we name them both?" The pegasus mare thought for a moment. What should she name them? Shimmer and Shine? No that didn't work for them. Maybe Splash and River! No they weren't blue. Yin and Yang. That name sounded lovely to the mare, and it seemed to fit the fillies that she held in her hooves.
"I think we should call the white one with the curly black hair Yin, and the jet black pegasus Yang." Lemon Drop said to her husband. He thought for a moment before smiling.
"I think your right." Lightning Blast said to his wife. He turned and looked at his two new daughters. Yin and Yang. "Hi there you two," he whispered to the little fillies as his wife giggled. His daughter Yang opened her eyes, revealing an identical pair of green eyes to her new sister.
The little filly smiled and poked her dads nose with a hoof, earning a small laugh from both parents.
