Pinkie's forbidden love

After 30 minutes of talking to twilight,the food was ready. It looked like a all you could eat buffet for breakfast foods. My mouth was watering from all the wondrous aromas drifting into my nostrils. Pinkie hopped over and sat down.

I walked over and sat down next to pinkie. Twilight followed my lead. "Well,dig in everypony."She said. I have never been more full in all my life. I looked around and saw that the only one that was still eating was pinkie pie. I got up."I think ill go take a nap." I said." Hmm? Okay aret." Pinkie said through a mouth full.

"Okay baret, sweet dreams." Twilight said, half asleep herself. I trudged up the stairs and went into my room. When i closed the door, i took a good look at the room. What i saw was the exact room i knew all those years ago. I went over to the bed and got in it.

After a couple hours of sleep i woke up. I was still tired, so i tried to go back to bed. But as i rolled around in the bed, i could feel something under the bed. I got up and lifted it up. What i found was a book. But not a book, a diary.

It said, "To baret, my love." I looked at it for a moment. I thought for a second then i realized that it must have been meant for me when i left, but octavia had forgotten to give it to me. I tried to open it, but on the side of it was a lock in the shape of a heart. I looked all over but i could not find the key. After about a few minutes, i gave up.

I walked over to my bag and slipped the book into it. I'd ask octavia about it When i got back. I went to the door and opened it. Then,stepped out and closed the door. I walked down the stairs into the living room where i found twilight fast asleep on the couch.

I looked around but i could not see pinkie at all. I noticed that the front door was open. I went over and stepped out side. I looked to see pinkie moving rocks out in the fields. I started walking over to the field. As i got closer, i could see that she was looking darker than last time.

When i got to where she was, she was sitting on the ground sweaty and at a loss of air. Her hair was laid down and looked like it did all those years ago. As i approached her, i could hear a low whimper. When i got to the point that i was right behind her, i could hear her crying.

"Is everything ok?" I asked her.She suddenly,as far as i could see,wiped her eyes quickly.Then she turned to me.

"Oh, hi.Y-ya,everything is okay. I-i just needed to get some air." She said. But i knew she was lying. I sat down next to her.

"Why try to lie to me?" I said. She gave me a smirk.

"Cant fool you huh?" She said.

"Never could,never will. So,whats wrong."

She sighed. "Well, its just that everyone i know has something going on in there life right now.

I mean, your getting married, rainbow is training for the wonderbolts try outs, your helping fluttershy with a flower show, applejack has that family reunion coming up, rarity has a clothing line she's prepping for, even twilight has a meeting coming up with the princess. But me? I have nothing going on." She said.

I sighed.

"Pinkie, do you know why we have all of this stuff going on?" I asked. She shook her head. "Why has rainbow been training all these years?" I asked her.

"Because she has wanted to be a wonderbolt her whole life."

I nodded my head. "Same with fluttershy, rarity, applejack, twilight,and your sister and i. They are doing this because they wanted it more than anything. Look inside yourself and ask yourself, what do you want most?" I said.

She looked at me. "I think i understand. I know what i want." She said.

"Good.Now,how about we go back inside and I'll make some lunch." I said. "Okay, lets go." She said.

We got up and started to walk back to the house. Twilight had woken up by this point and was siting on the couch. "Hey you guys. Where were you?" She asked.

I smiled. "Just went for a stroll." I said. Then all of a sudden, pinkie pie hugged me.

"Thank you."She whispered.I hugged her back.

"No problem."I whispered back.

She stepped back and smiled."I'm going go freshen up."She said. Then she walked up the stairs and into her and twilight's room.

Twilight looked at me."What happened between you two?" She asked.

I smiled at her."Just a little bonding." I said. I walked into the kitchen and started to make lunch. It was about noon at this point. I know i had a big breakfast, but somehow i was still hungry. I pulled out a couple of bowls and took out some lettuce, ranch,and all the components for my home made salad.

When it was done, pinkie came down the stairs. She smiled. "Ooo, that looks good!" She said.

"Thank you." I said. We all got in are chairs and dug in. After we were done eating,I got up and said, "Well,lets get to work." We stared getting to work on the guest house behind the house. First things first. We had to move the tree.

Twilight used her magic to move the tree aside. Then i use an ax to chop it into pieces.During which it felt like somepony was watching me. But i shrugged it off and continued to work. After that we moved to the roof. I went up and started to rebuild the frames.

It was a little difficult, but i got it done. The rest of the day went on with ease. We got the insulator put in, finished the roof, and tiled it. Pinkie was inside cleaning up the whole place. Every once in a while i would get that "somepony is watching me" feeling. But i just ignored it.

At about 9:00, we were finally done. "Ok,lets head in!" I said. As we started to make our way back, pinkie came up to me.

"Hey baret?" She asked. I turned to her.

"Ya?" I asked.

"Can you come to the barn later tonight to meet me there?" She asked.

I thought about it. "Sure,why not." I said.

"Thank you." She said then we quietly walked back. Why does she want to see me? I wondered. But i guess I'll have to wait and see.
