No going back on plans. Pegaflop was going to come out and confess his love for Technote.. With a gift. Today was Valentine's day, and Pegaflop has been nervous the past few weeks. Would Technote reject his gift and love? Or will he feel the same way? Pegaflop sighed. He parked his car in Technote's driveway and sat back in his seat. He wasn't quite sure if he was ready yet. He glanced over at the bouquet of flowers and picked them up. Holding the flowers close to his chest, he wished himself luck, and exited the car. As he looked at Technote's house, he saw the front window curtains draw back, and Technote was looking out. When Cameron noticed him, he smiled and waved, then scurried over to answer the door. Pegaflop walked up the porch steps. Before he could knock, Technote opened the door and practically pulled him in. "Pegaflop! Why are you here? Aren't you going to spend Valentine's day with John?" Technote noticed the flowers and pointed at them. " Are those for John? They're beautiful! he'll love them!" "Ah.. Um, no," Pegaflop stuttered. "These are for you." Technote was astonished. "Pegaflop... What are you trying to say?" "I'm trying to say that I-I have really liked you for a while now and-" "But, but John..." "I may even have more feelings than 'like' and-" "Won't he be sad?" "I think I love you," Pegaflop finished. Technote opened his mouth as to say something, but quickly shut it. He studied the bouquet closer and took it out of Pegaflop's hooves hesitately. "Pegaflop, I'm flattered. I really am, but I have to ask about-" "I left John," Pegaflop stared down at the floorboards, twiddling his hooves. "Wh- Why would you leave him? You two were so happy together. Well, at least it seemed like it." Pegaflop looked up at Technote, staring into his eyes. "I left him for you." Pegaflop stepped closer to Technote, grabbing the flowers and setting it down somewhere nearby before. Pegaflop took hold of Cameron's hooves before he could protest. "I had a feeling I could be happier with you. I don't know if you even like me. I don't know if you even like stallions, but I do know that everytime I look at you and everytime I hear your voice and that beautiful laughter, that I'm hopelessly in love with my friend." Technote continued to stare at Pegaflop. His face was fluhed pure red. Technote glanced down at Pegaflop's hooves, which were intertwined with his. Pegaflop stared back at him, eyes full of hope. "Pegaflop, I never knew you felt that way about me. I always puhed back my feelings for you because of the same reasons." "So... so all this time you-" Pegaflop's words trailed off. He was too busy worrying about his own feelings and the terrible thought of being rejected, that he never acknowledged Technote's affection towards him. Technote nodded, a faint smile on his face. "Pegaflop, you could have confessed sooner. You kept me waiting, friend." "I'm sorry. Oh, and Technote?" "What is it?" Pegaflop leaned forward, closer and closer to Technote's ear. "Cameron, will you be my Valentine?" he whispered "Of course, flop," Technote grinned, pulling Pegaflop into a hug. One day, when Pega came home the first thing he saw was John sitting on the couch. "What are you doing here J-John" Pega said. "I've come here to tell you that I'm happy for you Pega, and that I've been happy with my girlfriend, Rainbow Dash." Pega was suprised, he didn't know John had liked mares, he always thought John was a stallion-lover, but he was wrong. "Well old friend I'm gonna miss you" John said, before pulling pega into a hug. "Goodbye john" Pega said letting John leave his house. A few minutes later Cameron came bursting in, wounded with a gunshot in his arm. "Technote! what happened!" Pega said. Pegaflop was visiting Technote grave at ponyville memorial center. He laid the same flowers he had gotten him on valentines day on his grave an pulled out his old guitar and strummed a few cords and started a song.
