Living in Ponyville

It was an early morning for Starflimmer. Her long, aqua curly mane danced on the breeze enlightening her light pink body. Her cutie mark was a hoof reaching for the stars, which indicated the sentence 'reach for the stars'. She sighed. Looking up to the sky, she scanned each of its contents. Barely anypony was awake now, except for several who were just seeming to enjoy the view. The stars seemed to be flickering lightly, the sky was turning light reddish, and the moon was slightly disappearing. Birds were already tuning up their songs happily. "Well, I don't really have something to do today.. maybe I could say 'hi' to Spike and Twilight? Well, they are quite known in Ponyville.." Starflimmer looked at the ground, tracing her hoof on a blue path. It led to a certain place, Twilight's. Starflimmer sucked in her breath. "But what if they're awake? Would they possibly.. I mean.. think that I'm a bother..?"

But her hooves worked on her own and knocked on the small red door. It took a few minutes for a purple unicorn followed by a purple and green dragon to answer. The purple unicorn named Twilight rubbed her eyes wearily. "Starflimmer..?" she yawned. "Why so early in the--huh.. night?"

"Oh, I am so sorry Twilight! I should go before you two get tired.. I am such a bother.." Starflimmer stared at Twilight's eyes as they soon drifted open. Then she stared at them in curiosity. Spike was staring at Twilight with cute little puppy eyes, and Twilight just nodded confidently. "Star, it is yet morning, so you can come in. Anyway, why would you think you were a bother? You are like.. one of my best friends, I guess." Twilight smiled at Starflimmer. Starflimmer blushed. "A-are you sure Twilight, I mean, it's really okay if you're not, I still accept you as one of my best friends.."

"Hey Twilight can I have some tea? It's like my tummy's bursting with all hunger, from the sides, from down, to up.." Spike pulled up a mirror from the table.

Twilight immediately answered the question, beaming at Spike staring at himself in the mirror. "I am very sure Starflimmer. With all my heart. Now, do you want some tea? And I--uh, yeah, I will bring you some too Spike."

"Oh--no, no Twilight, you don't have to treat me like I'm a royal princess.." Starflimmer looked at Twilight, then faced the ground once again.

"I shall, I treat my every best friend like that Starflimmer. I really do hope you get used to it," Twilight sighed at Star. "Thank you then Twilight.. but I never have been actually treated like this, so, um, I hope you know.." Starflimmer turned deep red once more.

"Have never been treated like 'this'? Why not, Star? I mean, everypony is kind and generous," Spike replied. He stared with questionable eyes. "Sorry Spike, I mean I have never tasted tea before." Starflimmer said, with a serious emotion.

"And here we are~!" Twilight placed three cups of tea on the table. All of them were half-filled, except for one, which was Spike's, which caused Starflimmer to giggle. "Wha-what is it Star?" Spike blushed. "Ya, Spike, you might have got me laughing on that one too. Yours is pathetically filled with tea." Twilight responded to Spike.

"Well, what's wrong with having a cup full of tea?" Spike highly demanded in a insulting voice, making Twilight and Star to exchange glances laughing.
