What is a changeling? A worker bee, or a soldier ant, nothing more. Fine physical strength, unique magical ability to shapeshift and no personality whatsoever. Just a loyal cog in the machine, expendable and dumb.

Queen Chrysalis and King Metamorphosis suddenly notice that their changelings are not like that at all. A modern changeling is an individuality, with an ability to think, to feel and to dream. The royal couple didn't even notice when their Hive became a kingdom. The only thing they can do at the moment is sit back and recall the pleasant memories.
