It was a very, very, sunny morning as a purple pony passed the streets of Ponyville. The fresh morning breeze caressed her purple and pink mane with large, soft, strokes. As for a cutie mark, she had six stars. But one was infact different, having been in the middle, large, and hot pink. The others circled around it. Twilight had not thought about visiting her friends today, and thought about visiting Zecora instead. She trotted her way to the Everfree Forest, a forest which nopony dared to go in. That is, for her friend Pinkie Pie. As Twilight reached the entrance of the Everfree Forest, she couldn't help but feel so frightened at the dark and damp woods of Ponyville. How could such a happy village have a dark center that could scare other ponies? Twilight thought to herself, sighing in curiosity. "I'll do this for Zecora," she told herself, and crossed the dark green pathway of the forest. But after the several steps, three twigs touched her backpack which caused her to scream in fright. "EEEEEEK!" Twilight turned around and began to run in reverse. But she failed miserably after hitting another twig, then rolling and hitting another, as she landed back on her hooves herself, panting loudly. Twilight felt her heart pound angrily, and could even hear it. The feel of her heart beating was just too maddening, so Twilight clutched it with her hooves. But sadly it only caused mischief, turning her view very blurry. Twilight let out a shrill shriek in pain as she pushed her hooves into a hard piece of a wood, noticing only the color beige as a result. As Twilight stood for two minutes, her view began to clear and she saw an eerie house. It was infact, Zecora's. Twilight sighed in relief and knocked on the door. It took several seconds for a zebra to answer, smiling. But it wasn't Zecora. It was a different zebra. "Um hello..? I was.." Twilight said, sucking in air as her chest rose and lowered. "Looking for Zecora, perhaps.."
"Oh, poor you, no Zecora is believed to exist in these woods, young unicorn." the zebra replied eerily.
"No, that's not possible, I mean, all my friends know her!" Twilight slightly frowned, thinking this zebra was hiding something from her.
"Then go back into your world, you do not know what is lingering around here." the zebra said with a blank expression on her face.
"But this is my world, and you have no capability to say it is not!" Twilight replied sharply, her words piercing into the anger of the zebra.
But the zebra ignored her answer.
"Like I have said to, go home as I tell you."
"There's no possibility that I am--! Just tell me where Zecora is and I will!" Twilight struggled between words.
The zebra once again did not answer. She only heard whispering. As if..
the zebra was whispering that he had slaughtered Zecora..
Twilight then turned her back, getting no response from the zebra. But as she did, her view once again turned blurry.
She then knew the cause of it. The zebra was murmuring words of witchcraft.
