Chapters "Princess! Princess Celestia!!" galloping hooves raced towards the majestic throne of the ruler of Equestria.
The Princess stood. "What is it?" One of the scientists of Canterlot stopped in front of her.
"We did it! We finally finished the project, and the specimens are secure!" The pony smiled. "Now all we need is a report saying that we can keep it running, and we'll be good to go."
Celestia grinned and dismissed the scientist. Once he had left, she called for her student. "Star Wishes! I require your aid."
A white pony ran into the throne room. "Yes, Princess?"
"There is a new area in Manehattan. I need you and your sister to secure the premise. Will you do it?" Celestia sat upon her throne, tired of standing.
"Y-Yes Princess, but with all due respect, would this be..." The Princess nodded and Star Wishes paled. "We will leave at once." The white pony galloped out, too scared out of her wits to think.
The Princess sighed and returned to the Gala letters. So much to do....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where is she? She should have been here an hour ago! Star Wishes anxiously clopped her hooves on the train center floor. Ponies scrambled by her, trying to get to their own families or to their homes to wear off the jet lag. She strained to see a certain purple pegasus, but to no avail. Two more hours went by without Star's sister making an appearance. A white unicorn came over and sat next to Star and began listening to music. Loudly. After a few painful minutes full of strange sounding music pulsating in her ears, Star asked the mare to tone down her music a bit or but headphones on. The pony looked suprised that Star could see her, then toned down the music and left. Just like that. Star shook her headand began looking for Sunny again. Suddenly, she heard somepony say, "Look out!" before a winged blur crashed into her.
The pegasus crawled up from the floor and rubbed her head. "Owww... Darn unicorns and their magic... Star...." The pony shook her head and beamed. "Star!! Oh my Celestia, it's really you! How's the family? Is your stallionfriend doing well?" Sunny Flicker flew up in the air to avoid Star Wishes wrath. "Geez, how long has it been? Years? Decades? Centuries?"
"A week?" Star began trotting out of the station with a hovering Sunny beside her. "You forget, we met awhile ago to discuss...you know. The place ..."
Sunny flew down and began to walk. "Yeah. It's hard to believe, isn't it? Infamous ponies like Pi-" She was cut off by Star shoving her hoof in Sunny's mouth.
"Are you crazy?! We can't speak their names in the public!" Star whispered. "Do you know what would happen? Riots and murder, just like when the Elements turned. Do you want it to be like that again?" Sunny shook her head. "Good. We already lost enough in the aftermath. We need not lose more." Star removed her hoof from Sunny's mouth and lead them both to an alley. "Now, remember, this won't be like how we deal with things here in Equestria. We will be going to a place that Celestia won't let Hasbro film, the Normancy section of the Catacombs. I did some research on it with Luna, and was actually the place the portal to the human world was found before it was put in that mirror. Luna had been on the moon at the time, so Celestia sent some researchers through the portal to see where it led them, which was the bipedal world of Homo Sapiens. One was so intrigued that he looked there for twice as long as the other scientists. He found that the humans had made a show called 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic', as well as others containing our grandparents.
The researcher brought home these episodes, gave them to Celestia, and went in again. but he didn't return, not until recently. See, he had found these things called Creepypastas, read them, and brought them home. Little did he know, the portal now had a time limit, so he dumped those stories just outside of the portal and went back in. We only know this because a guard tried to warn him not to go back, but to no avail.
So, the guard handed them to Celestia, who also read them. That was a bad mistake. As you know, an Alicorn's magik is extremely powerful, powerful enough to create life itself.
She had nightmares, much, much worse than the one Luna was infested with. Her only beam of light in her dream was her sanity, which was fading slowly. She was scared. I only know this because I was in her dream to retrieve her before she became something like Nightmare Moon." Star looked like she wanted to say more, but she hesitated. "When I was inside her mind I saw things. Things from your darkest dreams, creatures that were so demented I don't even want to talk about it, much think about it. Her light had almost burned out when we got her out, but it was too late. The damage was done.
Her magik had activated three of the darkest, most evil souls on the world and they had almost instantly changed the ponies it hit. Celestia- let's just say Celestia's recovering. Wow, look at the time. We should really go." Star smiled nervously and teleported the two mares into a long, brightly lit hallway.
"Star, I know this is serious and all, but do we have to go in? This looks like a hospital. Hospitals scare the hell out of me." Sunny's wings were shaking, which only meant she was terrified. Star put her hoof on Sunny's shoulder and smiled. She then walked over to the end of the hallway, using her magic to reveal a metal door at the end of the hall. She opened the door for Sunny, who went through, before entering herself. Just after the mares left, the lights flickered, letting a white pony with wild blue hair be seen running at the door before the lights flickered again, leaving the room empty.
Star Wishes immediately was overwhelmed by all that was going on. She thought there would be almost nopony there, but there were hundreds, maybe thousands working together, much like a beehive. There were mares and stallions alike, all dressed in white lab coats or in protective armor carrying some sort of gun on their back. Nopony stood still for long.
A stallion noticed they had come in and greeted them, identifying himself as Apple Cinnamon, one of Applejack's cousins. After pleasantries were made, he invited the mares to the grand tour. They both agreed.
The trio came to a metal door, which opened mechanically for them. Apple Cinnamon began talking about the history of the place, but after the 80th Celebration of the Sun, Star Wishes lost track and looked around the room they were in. Hundreds of doors spread down the hallway, some with labels ripped off or concealed with duct tape. Most read, 'Files of Unmentionable number ___' or, 'Key to Operation L'. All of which made no sense to Star, but she didn't ask about it.
Apple stopped at a door marked 'Not-so-urban Legends' and entered. The sisters followed suit.
Cages of all sizes and variety were lined up against the walls. Only three were occupied.
Seeing he had started saying important things, Star finally qued in on what Apple Cinnamon had to say. "This one here is called the Rake. He likes to watch you sleep at night. He's so cute right? Heh. Try thinking him cute after he bores of you sleeping and either drives you insane or he kills you. He is incredibly fast, so the only way we keep him locked up is vibrating his cage here so he just loses his footing. We just found him at the edge of the Everfree Forest before he entered Fluttershy's abandoned home, which was under investigation for fumes. I don't really know why, so let's move on, shall we?" Apple walked over to another cage and waited.
The two mares looked at the 'Rake'. He had big, black eyes that shined in the light. He also looked like a filly, but his legs were too long. So long, in fact, that they just looked awkward on his small, bony body. He looked at Star in such a way that it sent shivers down her spine. Finally the mares had had enough of him and moved on.
"Scared yet? Didn't think you were. So, here's one fer ya. This here is Mr. Slendermane. Now this was one of the most dangerous and hardest to catch in this facility. He likes to take fillies, young mares and stallions, hunt them down, then devour their souls. Since we didn't have the technology back then, we trapped him in a game where you have to find notes or he kills you and eats your soul. You could play infinitely and he wouldn't really eat your soul, only on the game. It was fine until other gamemakers saw the success of the game and made others pretty much like it. They made him more and more powerful until he could've escaped from the game at any point. But he never did, thank Celestia. Then just last winter, we had the tech, so we trapped him here, where he has been ever since. One of our head engineers found out how to trap him: King Sombra's dark magik. See, Slendermane only eats the souls of the innocent, and rejects all that have sinned. Thus, we multiplied Sombra's magik by a hundred then applied it to this cage. He hasn't escaped yet, but we are still adding modifications to his cage." Once again, Apple Cinnamon trotted over to the last cage and waited for the two mares.
Star Wishes looked at the Slendermane, but Sunny bailed and went over to Apple and started chatting with him.
Through Star's observations, Slendermane had a black tuxedo, white undershirt, red tie, and no shoes or hoof guards. His build was that of an alicorn, only without the godly horn and wings. He also had the strangest of cutie marks: a bloody circle with a big X over top of it. Slendermane looked at Star and her vision began to fog and go fuzzy. She looked away and ran to the other ponies.
"Hey there, Miss Star Wishes! I just had the most wonderful of conversations with yer sister. Ready to begin? Okay. This monstrosity is what locals call the Mothmare. Nopony knows much about her but her appearance and her stalking abilities. Her red, buglike eyes help her like nightvision goggles and heat detectors combined. Her leathery wings help keep her flying swift and silent. She was found in the Neighgara Falls area, where it is pretty cold, thus the furry body." Apple Cinnamon moves over to a pair of doors, one marked 'Insanity' the other marked 'Disease'. Over top of both of these was a sign that stated, "Ponies".
A shiver ran down Star's back. The Elements would be behind one of these doors, along with... Star shook her head to clear the memories from clouding her judgement. She couldn't afford to think like that, not now. She was on a mission from Princess Celestia that she must do.
Star swallowed and followed the happily chatting pair into the door just as the lights began to flicker. Faster and faster they went until a backstage room of the Ponyville theatre was seen. A shadowed pony walked slowly to the middle of the stage, dragging a cello. The figure stopped in center stage and began to play a sad and haunting song. The lights flared on, revealing Octavia herself playing, her eyes bleeding darkness and small, red pupils. She cried tears of blood as she played. Soon her skin began to flay off into perfect squares, almost as if it was cut by a knife.
A single pony sat in the audience, grinning maliciously. Her white head bobbed to the melody of the music while she sipped her drink. She had a console of sorts on her lap, on which she pressed a button. Octavia began to play faster to a new song, an old and very powerful tune. As the mare played, reality began to unravel. Paint and wallpaper stripped off the ceiling and walls, the carpet burst into a million strands of yarn, and the seats, save the one the white pony was on, all lit afire and burned while Octavia played.
The theatre itself disappeared, leaving the two ponies in a dark abyss known as the time between sleep and consciousness. Still Octavia played. Her hooves were moving so much, her bones began to wither away, until all that was left of her was a single cello, still playing by itself. It had begun playing the haunting melody from before, from the command of the mysterious white pony.
The mare stood and began to walk. A portal appeared before her, in which she entered, leaving the cello behind.
"Star Wishes! Wake up! Hello? You there? Star?" Panicked voices drifted into Star's subconscious. She struggled to move, eventually getting to her hooves.
"Thank Celestia! Are ya okay? What happened? You passed this cage then fell down. We couldn't wake you, so we called the medics. They...they wouldn't answer. You began to cry and your magic started flowing and the lights began to flicker, and the monsters started making laughing noises and some started slamming on the glass panes and- are you okay?" Sunny looked intently at Star, obviously worried. Apple stood in the distance, yelling to a phone and slamming the wall.
Apple turned and interrupted the mares. " Well, this is great. The phone lines are down, and the security has been breached. I think we might want to get out of this area before...you know..." Apple motioned for the mares to follow him and walked to a wall. He put his hoof on the wall, which glowed and opened to reveal a secret door. The three ponies entered it and came to a almost painfully lit hallway, with three doors along it. Two of the doors had whispering noises and maniacal laughing. The other was silent, save some cicadas chirping.
"I had hoped we would never have to use this corridor." Apple sighed. "This is the room of portals. The three main ones: Game, Kill, and Escape. The intent of this room was if there was a problem with the network of the facility, we would go here and defeat or kill the main spirits that caused the whole 'creepypasta' thing. I would say we should see if others have the same idea. Should we wait?" He looked at the mares. They nodded and sat down.
Star was just beginning to nod off before loud sirens went off and the sound of shattering glass was heard and hooves, trotting, walking, dragging, or galloping, were heard coming towards the trio of ponies. Soon, hooves were heard slamming against all around the walls of the corridor. Cracks began to form and beams of light began seeping through from the turned unicorns who still had their magic.
Apple and Sunny both scrambled to their hooves. "Star, Sunny, pick a portal. Go in there, defeat the monster, find the portal again, get out. That's all you need to do. one more thing: don't die. Good luck." And with that, Apple jumped into Kill and vanished. The portal also vanished. Sunny went into Game. Star stood there for a minute, hearing the moans and screams. She would succeed. She had to. She took a deep breath then entered Escape. As soon as she was teleported, She opened her eyes. Then she let out a ear-wrenching scream.
*I want to let everyone know that I'm not trying to mooch off of AuroraDawn's Rainbow Factory, but showing my love for it, and kinda broadcasting it. So I won't be going on chat explaining this. Enjoy!*
Apple was teleported into Cloudsdale. But he was an Earth pony! He immediately panicked and looked down at his orange hooves. Wait, orange? He looked at his body, which had small orange wings and wild purple hair. He came to the conclusion that he was in the body of Scootaloo, one of Aplebloom's best friends. He looked around him, seeing other young pegasi. Some he recognized from the farm, others not so much.
"Scootaloo, I'm scared." A brown pegasus beside Apple was shivering beside him, along with a greenish-yellow pony. They were all staring ahead at something that had an approaching shadow. He looked up to see chains enfold the brown one, bring it above a giant machine, and tear him apart. Rainbows were produced from his blood and body parts.
He panicked and began to run. The other fillies began to run as well. Some ponies dressed strangely chased Apple and a pony who identified herself as Aurora. The two ponies ran all across the factory, twisting and turning around the labyrinth of a building. Aurora began to tire then slowed to a stop. Apple tried to pull her to her feet, but she she sat firm. Apple heard the 'Suits' coming around the corner. He reluctantly looked once more at Aurora the galloped off. He began to cry as he heard her screams echo across the maze.
After is seemed like forever, he reached the entrance. His face lit into a gleeful smile, and his wings unfolded on their own. He had almost launched off when he heard a familiar voice ring into the night.
"SCOOTALOO!!" Apple turned to see Rainbow Dash flying straight towards him. Fear filled his body and he zoomed off. It dawned on him that he had never flown before, but shrugged that off as soon as he felt teeth pulling on his tail. That only made him fly faster.
Apple looked behind him and saw Dash wasn't there. Relieved, he glided down to a nearby village. He started looking for ponies, but all the houses were deserted. He came to a light post with a sheet of paper on it. He picked it up and sirens began going off. The note read: Cleanout and Destruction by Rainbow Factory of Equestria, 5th day of Sunreach.
"You never stopped running, did you?"Apple turned around and froze. Ponies dressed in white armor grabbed each side of Apple, trapping him. Rainbow Dash stepped forward. "Your parents, your friends, your school, everything. But this is a new one. Rainbow Dash, your idol. The one who took you under her wing, who housed and fed you when the cameras weren't rolling, your adopted big sister. I was really hoping you'd ace that exam and work here with me. But you didn't." Dash stalked towards Apple, who was trembling with fear. She stooped down to eye-level and whispered, "Your death was going to be the least brutal of them all. But now...heh...now you have earned the worst death imaginable. Running away, escaping, going to a nearby village to tell on us, stepping on forbidden ground...now all you need to do is kill somepony to- oh, wait you did. That little mare that ran away with you? What was her name...Aurora?" Apple began to cry not from his own will and Rainbow leaned in so her muzzle was pressed against Apple's. "You will not die fast. I will make sure every moment of your life is filled with pain. And when you think it's over, we will do twice as much damage to your body." With that, she spread her wings and flew off. The Suits pulled Apple to a machine and hooked him up to it. Tubes attached to his veins started pumping blood and fluid started going into his body, hyper-producing blood. Apple screamed as electricity started volting throughout his brain, making him have severe seizures.
A white pony observed all of this through a small glass ball around her neck. She grinned and let the ball hang. Her plan was almost complete. Mistress would be pleased. She leaned against a counter in the room she was in. A stallion notified her that she was to do her job in a few minutes then left. The white pony sighed and went over to a drawer and opened the middle drawer. She used her horn to lift a pair of glasses- purple glasses, to be exact- and put them on. She took off the glass ball and headed out the door. Loud music and maniacal laughter were to be heard before the door slammed shut, leaving the room in silence.
Sunny stepped into the portal and saw stars. She blinked a few times before she could see the darkness fully. Wait, here. She had a flashlight next to her hoof. She flicked it on and held it with her mouth.
"S**T!!!!" Sunny's curse made her drop the flashlight. She was in freaking Slender!! This was bad, really bad. Sunny wasn't a gamer, that was Star's job. She was the one who watched videos of the games, and never really played them.
Terrified, she picked the flashlight up again and began to walk. Her wings began to tremble when the music began to kick in. She almost had a heart attack when she saw something white flash by in the corner of her eye. Sunny looked closer and realized it was a note. She trotted over to it and picked it up. It read, 'Always watches...No eyes...'
Sunny put it in her mane and began to walk some more. All of a sudden, loud booming was heard. It wasn't really fast, but slow enough to scare the hell out of Sunny. She started trotting faster, then found another note.
Eventually Sunny had six notes. She knew from gameplays she needed to find eight. Man, this is easy. Other than all this creepy music and loud booming, I don't see what's so scary about this game. , She thought.
After a minute of praising her awesomeness, Sunny came to a bathroom. Thinking that she was fine and feeling the urge to relieve herself, she went inside just as a white pony in a tuxedo stepped in behind a tree not far from the entrance.
On the mare side of the restroom, Sunny found a note. It read, 'Behind you', which confused Sunny. That wasn't in the game...
Sunny turned and started galloping out of the water closet, but was halted by slight static blurring her vision. She stopped and rubbed her eyes, then pressed on, which only made it worse. Sunny turned to her right and the fuzziness went away a little. She walked that way until the static came stronger, then moved to another direction. She repeated this until she had clear vision.
Sunny kept her head down after that. Eventually she was brave enough to look up, and found herself in front of a note. She picked it up. When she looked closer, the writing was different, more elegant and in cursive. It read:
Foolish Humans. You play my games, you give me life. You are haunted by me. Some love and worship me, others fear and hide from me. But I am everywhere. I am the wind when you are walking home alone. I am that sound in the middle of the night when you lie awake in bed. You can not hide, for I will find you. You cannot run, I catch you when you tire. You can not fight, I will be there in your time of fear. I am horror. I am death. I am God.
Sunny dropped the note in her hair. She noticed too late the fuzziness around her eyes before a white pony with a wide, gaping mouth filled her vision. She screamed at the feeling of her soul being sucked out of her and into Slendermane. His tuxedo protruded shadowy tentacles that held her down while he fed on her life's existence. Sunny rolled her head to the side, now an old mare, and saw a familiar white unicorn laughing in the distance. Before Sunny closed her eyes, she sent her worst curses she knew at her once-beast friend, Vinyl Scratch.
"AAAAAAAHHHH!"
Star Wishes put a hoof over her mouth. Why me? , she thought. Why did I have to be the one who goes here?
She put both hooves on the floor of the bakery. This was the place of her worst nightmares. Sugarcube Corner. It was still as cold, musty, creepy yet welcoming as the day she left.
Star took a breath and mustered enough courage to open the door to the basement and enter it. She was greeted by a familiar voice, one that still sent shivers down her spine.
"Hide and seek...hide and seek...I will always find you..." Apparently Pinkie was in the middle of her maze game. Star snuck past the maze and went to the far back wall, in which she hit twice. The wall opened to reveal an assortment of knives and small torture devices. Scalpels, knives, small chainsaws, gags, needles, tubes of venom, and many more lined the shelves. As useful as all the other devices might serve her in battle, Star picked up one of her old favorites: the cat's paw. Funny, it was as bloody as the day she... Star shook her head, not wanting to remember the gory details.
After picking up the device, she closed the cabinet and entered the maze. She heard voices around a bend and stopped.
"N-no, Pinkie, I didn't mean to- Pinkie please! I'm your frien-" The male voice was cut off by the sound of his throat being ripped out. Blood began to seep under the hedges, causing Star's hooves to get messy. She recoiled, but went back to the edge.
Pinkie's voice drifted into Star's ear, making her freeze in her tracks. "Sigh...What a mess...too bad my assistant is dead, or she could've helped me...but...wait..." Hooves clopped dangerously close to Star's hiding spot. "No, nopony's there...hearing things again..." Her hooves clopped away.
When she couldn't hear the clopping of Pinkamena's hooves, Star let out a breath of relief. Man, that was close! Star almost walked out when she realized everything was silent. That wouldn't stop anypony, but Star knew all too well Pinkie was never silent... Star looked up and saw Pinkie crouching on a hedge above her, grinning. "FOUND YOU!!"
Pinkamena jumped on Star, who passed out on impact.
"My head..." Star woke to a room that was dimly lit. Pinkie was on the other end of the room, sharpening a large knife.
"You know, Star, I would have thought by now that when your enemy is in the general vicintity of you, you shouldn't let out a sign that you are there." Pinkie moved over to where Star lay rubbing her head, handing her a glass of water. She stared into Star's eyes while she drank.
"I must be getting soft. You should be tied up and on a table by now, hopped up on so many drugs that would get Celestia high, and under the mercy of my blade. But instead here I am, talking to you normally, treating you like a queen."
Star dropped the glass on the floor and took a deep breath. "Pinkie, I'll need your help. Sometime in the future, your soul is put into a story, in which Celestia reads and makes you into a portal of evil. Those portals were only supposed to be used in an emergency, so here I am. Nostalgia is failing, and I need your power to create a portal to there so I can help my friends." Star looked hopefully at Pinkie, whose face was unreadable. She sighed.
"Star, I will do this one favor for you, but when you get back, get a unicorn to stablize the portals so I can see you more often. Even for me, it gets lonely being insane and alone. It's just not the same, killing and torturing without my assistant."
Pinkie waved and a portal appeared. "Go, before I change my mind." Star hugged Pinkie and ran in the portal to the facility. The portal closed and a single tear ran down Pinkie's face.
"No, no, NO!!!" a glass mirror smashed against the wall of Vinyl's apartment. "Dammit, you were supposed to kill her!" Vinyl stomped around the room, frustrated. She stared at the glass ball around her neck and grinned. Maybe...
She took off the ball and levitated it, speaking ancient runes. The orb glowed red with power, the faded. Vinyl smiled. That should stall Star for awhile, at least until the ritual was complete.
Star teleported to the main lobby and gasped. Since the last time she was here, the infected were escaping and banging on the walls, but now they were gone. No cracks, no magic blasts on the wall, nothing. She looked around the room and saw the portals were still there. Her only guess was that the others defeated their demons, so she trotted out od the room through the secret passageway. Star almost began to whistle a tune, but stopped in her tracks when she saw....Apple Cinnamon, Sunny Flicker and herself walking down the hall towards her.
What the hell? Star thought. Apparently she was going back in time. But if those were the past selves, that must mean that the others were still in the portals!
Star ran back to the wall and opened it. She anxiously clopped her hooves when the door stalled, but after it opened, she ran through. When she got to the room, a problem occurred to her. Which one would she go through? Would she save Sunny, her sister, first, or Apple Cinnamon, a new friend?
Star couldn't decide, so she closed her eyes and turned in a circle and picked a direction. She entered the portal before her and felt herself being teleported, a feeling she hadn't felt in awhile.
When she appeared in the town, ponies in white armor ran at her, pointing their guns at her. She stood up tall and waited for them to strike or get too close. From the side of her hair, she drew out the cat's paw. Celestia, I love you, Pinkie! She thought grimly to herself. Only Pinkie would think of this.
One soldier drew nearer a that the rest and prodded Star with his gun. In an instant, Star flew into action. She slashed at his neck with such force that she cut it completely off. The way she jumped from each soldier , it was like following a blur she was so fast. Soon Everypony around her was dead. She wiped her blades on a random pony's clothes and moved on. Just like the old times, she thought as she walked.
Apple struggled to stay awake before the next surge of electricity went though him. He couldn't do this much longer...he could already feel his life start to melt away.
Suddenly he heard screams and gunfire outside. One of the guards protecting Apple's machine had a three-bladed tool thrown at his head, killing his instantly. Apple looked up in surprise to see Star Wishes standing in the doorway, breathing hard. She walked over to him and janked the fluid tube out of him, leaving the tube sucking blood out in. How did she know...?
She started working on his strapping, only to get flustered and give up. She pulled the bladed tool out of the soldier's head beside him like it was made of butter, and cut all of Apple's restraints off with a flick of her hand. Only then did she take out the blood tube.
The three ponies came to a long, brightly lit hallway. Along the hallway, Star saw figures of ponies behind fogged glass. But there were some areas that had heavy security and metal doors held shut by many magical auras. Star shivered, thinking of her experiences with some of these ponies. She pushed those thoughts away, lest Twinkle Spartol was here.
Apple Cinnamon pushed a button in front of the room, causing the glass to become unfogged and revealed multiple versions of the Elements. Some Star recognized from stories she had read, others she recognized from personal experiences.
Apple walked over to the largest room. He put his hoof on the glass, staring deep into it. Star noticed a few tears leak from his eyes. Star looked in and saw the entire Apple family, all alive yet rotten like corpses with worms protruding from their bodies. The smell of fermented apples overwhelmed Star, who used her magic to clog her nose. Apple stared at his once-normal family before moving on. As Star looked closer, she realized that this was the actual Apple family, the one from this dimension. She looked over at Apple, who had once again regained his composure. How it must feel to know your family is lost to you forever... It was an unbearable thought to Star. She couldn't do half of the things she did without her family.
"If it doesn't bother you, I'd like to get though this as fast as possible.", the red stallion said.The mares nodded and the trio skipped most of the glass cages.
While they walked, Star saw many ponies, such like the ones that were trapped in games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Containment Breach. Pinkie Pie from CB was one of the ones under heavy security, along with Fluttershy from A:DD.
Star began to notice a strange presence in the air, one she had met before. When she felt dark tentacles begin to probe at her mind, she stopped on her tracks. They were insane. They really were. You don't simply keep a corrupted Alicorn in a facility. Their magik would be too powerful... unless they had illegal spells on their horn.
Sunny noticed that Star had stopped and went over to her. After whispering for a minute, Star stood up and started walking again. She had set up barriers around her mind, to protect herself and the others around the facility. But after she passed the cage, she collapsed.
