A loud thud penetrated Twilight Sparkle's head as she opened her eyes from her slumber. The thud soon turned in to a thumping pain. Twilight moaned in pain from the heavy pressure that was in her brain.
She regained her composure and looked around her surroundings. She noticed that she was in a bathroom and that she herself was in the bathtub. She opened the shower curtains to see a large message of blood on the wall that read as thusly.
DON'T LOOK IN THE MIRRORS!
She eyed the blood and looked at the bathroom mirror to find it cracked and broken to pieces. On the side of the bathroom sink there was a hammer with what seemed to be blood on the head. She crawled out of the bathroom tub and noticed another message right next to the hammer.
TAKE THIS AND BREAK THE MIRRORS!
"What?" said Twilight Sparkle. She lifted up the hammer with a levitation spell. "What is all this?"
A loud moaning sound came from outside the bathroom, it sounded akin to a ghost. Twilight looked upon the door before her that lead out of the bathroom. She went up to the door and turned the knob slowly in fear with magic. She raised the metal hammer ready to smash whatever was on the other side.
She opened the door to notice a hallway with a massive, yet, elegant, stair. She trotted through the hallway that had paintings of scenic art strewn across the wall's with some cupboards and fancy tables below the paintings to finally catch up with the stair.
She looked down on top of the hallway and found a massive entrance with expensive looking tapestry and lights upon the ceiling. She also noticed a mirror just silently standing right before the two double doors that must be the exit.
She trotted down the stairs to find a second stair that went up to the other side of the entrance. Wanting to leave badly, Twilight Sparkle made it down to find the mirror and her visage just silently mimicking her movements.
She didn't understand what all the fuss was about mirrors and such and chose to look at her reflection for a few moments. To her surprise nothing strange or weird happened while she looked at herself in the mirror and decided to just leave it be.
Twilight turned away from the mirror itself, and started to go towards the double doors. She tried her best with magic to turn the knob, but, it would not budge. She let out a guttural grunt of displeasure from the thing not budging so she tried to teleport outside. To her dismay her magic fizzled out and she became surprised.
"What the hay? Whats going on. My magic isn't working!" Thought Twilight Sparkle. She tried it once more and the magic just fizzled again. Twilight then remembered that her basic levitation spell was still working, but, why?
Twilight decided to retrace her steps and find out how she got in that bathroom in the first place. She trotted up a few steps through the stairs until she heard a weird sloshing sound. She turned around and found her mirror image pushing itself through the mirror itself. Twilight did not know how to react and could only watch in fear.
What speedily came out of the mirror was.. herself! The significant difference was her eyes were black with the iris glowing red. The doppleganger breathed heavily from the ordeal and looked up with a grin upon the other Twilight Sparkle.
"Wha... What are you!?" said Twilight Sparkle to the doppleganger. She readied her hammer to defend herself while shivering in fear.
The Doppleganger charged to attack in response. Twilight smashed the hammer on the copies head and it sailed off to the wall of the bottom floor.
Twilight rushed to the mirror now foaming with a liquid black substance and smashed it with the hammer. The Mirror gushed black and it stained Twilight's fur as she broke it to pieces. The Mirror now broken apart to tiny pieces, Twilight turned around to find the doppleganger screaming and fading out of existence.
Twilight Sparkle ran as fast as she could run all the way back to the bathroom for she was absolutely terrified. She returned to her bathroom tub and lay there freaking out, shaking and convulsing at the frightening thing she just experienced.
After a good moment of fear, she composed herself once more and got out of the tub. She decided that she needed to get out of this place as soon as possible. As she got out, she noticed the broken pieces of glass on the floor and looked at herself to notice her fur was completely black.
Frantic, she levitated some soap and water on her hoofs vigorously rubbing herself until she felt that it was enough and soaked it off with the water. She soon found that her hoofs were completely black and that it wasn't gonna come off. Then a resounding sound whisper was coming from all over the mansion.
"Ours, Ours, Ours, Ours, Ours, Ours."
Twilight looked around herself for she could not pinpoint the source of the silent, but, clear whisper that was heard in her ears. The bathroom soon started to change as the light started blinking out from the socket.
Then bathroom paint started turning encrusted and putrid. The Tub began to spew black liquid from the faucet and then it got dark. Twilight tried to open the door to exit out of the possessed room, but, it would not budge yet again.
In a bout of panic, Twilight smashed her hammer on the door crushing it to pieces and running out from the room as fast as possible while panting. She ran to the opposite hallway and opened the door to find herself in a changing room.
She looked through the keyhole and gasped to see a black like tendril looking around for its prey. The tendril receded back in to the bathroom with the odd changes it made to its interior with it.
After she calmed down a bit, Twilight Sparkle heard a beeping noise coming from the room itself. She suddenly heard static and then a mare's voice.
"Delta Team! Do you copy? Do you copy? Is anyone there?"
Twilight followed through the dressers to find a walkie-talkie sitting on the floor with black sludge leading from the phone to an air conditioner that's latch was brutally, ripped open. She grabbed the talkie with her magic.
"Um... Hello?" said Twilight Sparkle. A shiver accompanied her voice.
"Who is this? Is this Tough Lock? What happened to the rest of Delta!?"
"Uh... No, this is Twilight Sparkle of Ponyville!". Her voice regaining strength.
"What happened to Delta? And why are you in this situation?"
"I... I... don't know, I can't remember anything before me awakening in a bathtub."
"Well get out of there! It's dangerous for a civilian like you in here!"
"Well all I can remember is that I was here for a reason, I just can't remember... and I can't leave because of some weird magical force."
"Well then stay where you are! Wait for reinforcements to enter the vicinity! I need you to stay safe until help comes!"
"I guess I can do that"
"Good, I have to talk to my peers in headquarters, but, I need you to stay put."
The Walkie-Talkie shut off and Twilight Sparkle was left alone once again. Twilight realized that staying put was out of the question and she had to continue on before that 'thing' caught up with her. Since she did not have a pack or anything to hold the Walkie-Talkie, she then left it on a wooden cabinet to hold on.
She cautiously stepped through the black sludge and opened the door that was next to the vent. She found herself in another room with the walls covered in mirrors. She looked at her reflection and saw not a purple unicorn like before but, a pink, earth pony instead. The earth pony was pink from head to toe and had a cutie mark of three balloons.
Twilight touched the mirror with an outstretched hoof where the earth pony did the same. Out through the mirror, the earth pony grabbed Twilight's Hoof and pulled her in the mirror.
The obnoxious sound of party music rang in Twilight's ears. Twilight slowly opened her tired eyes, she was barely alive as she rose. She slowly awoke, albeit with weakness, she looked around herself with a haze in her confused sight. It turned out that she was in a kid's table, she saw a teddy bear with a top-hat and cane, a set of grey rocks with a party hat. Twilight felt her torso tighten, she turned her head to notice that she strapped in a black ribbon on a child's chair.
The Black Ribbon looked so delicate that she thought she could probably break free from its tightened hold. Twilight shook with all her might and pressed her muscles to flex and tear the ribbons. It was not enough, so Twilight took the chance to survey her surroundings. She looked around the room to find a very generic layout of paintings with flowers and some brown cupboards which were astonishingly placed on the ceiling. She looked towards the table, she saw a set of complementary forks and knifes right next to a silver plate with a design that was the same as that mares cutie mark right on the middle.
Twilight bit down on a butter knife and began to saw in to the black ribbon. As if alive, the ribbon screeched in whispered moans of insufferable suffering. As Twilight continued to cut away by The Black Ribbon on her right flank, the screeches of pain would heighten in to unbearable sound waves. Gritting her teeth, Twilight cut the last thread, ending the screeching and granting her new freedom. The ribbon slid off, slinking in to the ground, it became bleach white and screamed a low moan.
Twilight stood from the chair and noticed that she was wearing a fancy costume. She turned her body to look upon the dress. It was white with butterfly like folds on the refined edges. There was a thin, black lining on the border, going all around the beautiful garment. Twilight looked away from the cloth to notice the decadent food on the mahogany table. Sugary cakes with toppings of fruit on top, Muffins buttered and sugar glazing the blueberries baked within.
Twilight leaned very close in a slow, but, cautious fashion. She grabbed a muffin, wrapped in velvet baking paper and smelled the decadent aroma of yummy, blue berries. She opened her mouth, hesitant to quench her furious hunger.
"Stop!" said a deep stallion voice, Twilight turned away from the muffin to find the origin of the sudden sound. She looked around only to find the familiar view of the inanimate objects just sitting there with no lively action.
"Is... Is there somepony there?", Twilight Sparkle awaited a response whilst diligently searching. No response, Twilight became confused by this strange occurrence. Continuing her hungry crusade, Twilight put the questionable muffin near her mouth and slowly ate it.
"No, Don't!". Twilight turned away from the muffin to start her trick. She directed her senses towards the sound and found the living pile of rocks moving on its own. Seeing that he has been found out, the rocks regained their place of being inanimate. That was definitely not going to fool her. She saw the thing with her own pristine eyes. Twilight smiled and moved close to it, as if sweat was pouring from its sides, the pile of rocks shook. Twilight moved behind its chair while silently smirking in her own cleverness.
Twilight stood quietly behind the wooden chair, the rock was shaking harder in anticipation. Twilight quickly turned in towards the rock without it noticing her presence.
"Boo!", The pile of rocks screamed and clumsily fell to the floor. The teddy bear placed his bear hands on to his face in embarrassment. Twilight moved the chair with a spell and looked down on the startled rocks.
"Got ya.", Twilight Sparkle felt an accomplished satisfaction at her oh-so-clever trick.
A distorted and loud noise, it sounded like a dull grunt. The pictures on the walls shook as did the rest of the home. Twilight found comfort in her chair as the shaking continued. The pile of rocks clenched against each other while the teddy bear held to dear life with a fork stabbed into the wooden table. Suddenly, the place settled down. Through the wall in the opposite direction, a figure literally phased through the wall without breaking its surface. It was an equine, pink from head to toe, long dark pink mane flowing voluminously to her waist. A cutie mark of three balloons on her side.
She levitated in the air after exiting the wall, smiling with a toothy grin. The pile of rocks shook nervously, fear clear in its stoney structure. Twilight didn't know what to make of all this, but decided to address her.
"Who are you?" said Twilight Sparkle hesitantly.
The pink pony only smiled with an evil little grin.
"Your my guest for tonight and were going to have so much fun! But, first I have to prepare dinner first.". The Pink Pony materialized a knife to her hoof. Twilight is frightened by the gesture, but got off the chair quickly.
"Where do you think your going!?"
Twilight ran to the door and opened it to find an empty black expanse that led to nowhere. She closed the door before turning and noticing the pink pony flying straight at her. Twilight ran past the crazed equine following her until she realized there was no place to go.
She sat in a corner watching as the entity ready its knife for a stabbing motion. Then, she noticed a hammer sitting, it was the same one from before. Rolling, she grabbed the hammer and smashed the pink pony, she covered her arms from the blow, but smashed into pieces like glass. Suddenly everything started to flicker, one second the little room they were all in would be the same, next it would vanish within a second. It picked up pace before it finally disappeared completely. Twilight screamed as she fell through the abyss, the fear of darkness and falling was all she had before it all went dark.
