Today is a big day for me, I'm finally able to take my Magic Exam. If I pass, then I will eligible to be taking as an apprentice to the Princess. Chapter 1 - Past Finds it's Way Back

Dusk walk his way through a dusty road leading into Ponyville; has come upon a Farm where he stops to admire the fields, for He knows how to admire Beauty of Nature. "Hmm..., I do admit that I am Hungry." he said to himself as He trespass on to the Farm. He went up to a Apple Tree as he pulled a apple from with his magic. Just then a voice he heard behind him.

"What in Tarnation are you doing?!" The voice yelled behind him.

He turned to see the source of the sound, not showing any sign of fear. In front of him was a orange pony wearing a hat. "Igonsce mihi, fame." (On a side note Dusk Shine will speak Latin when he can, but an explanation will follow.)

"What?" She said in a confused manner. "Sorry, 'Forgive me, I hunger'." he explained to the earth pony. "I speak Latin most of the time. I was traveling and decided to eat your produce to fill my hunger." he said.

"I'm sorry but you can have any, the Summer Sun Festival is in a few days and I need the most food we can get for it." she told him. Just then his face change from a clam to a small tone of angry as he crushed the the apple in his magic hold. "Hey!" she shouted.

"I'm sorry, but did you say the Summer Sun Festival? I just have a problem with holidays that are about the Princess."

He said throwing the apple to the ground. " What's your problem with the Princess anyways?" she said demanding an answer. "Let's just say that I didn't vote for her." He say in a voice of lower tone.

"What?! Anyways what's with the get up? You're wearing a cape, Bearing a sword, and OH MY GOSH ARE THOSE WINGS?!!" She said in surprised voice.

"Why yes they are, any questions?" He said Sarcastically. "Doesn't that make you a Prince?" She questioned "Yes, I am a Prince of Absolutely Nothing; And I fine with it. No More Questions." He said throwing coins at her feet

"Stop, what does that mean?"

"I am Prince, But I own NO LAND, HAVE NO SUBJECTS, AND NO CASTLE! NOW 'vale' bye bye." He said walking away at a high speed.

"What a Weirdo." Applejack said returning to her work

Meanwhile

"Spike, when will we be there?"

"1 more hour Trixie." said a Small dragon.

"Why does Celestia want me to check the celebration, doesn't she know the Great Trixie has better things to be doing."

"Like what? All you do is magic practice and boast about yourself.

"Exactly, practice make perfect and I am Perfect." She said boasting

Back With Dusk

Dusk was walking through the town square as he was searching for stay for the night."There are no houses for sale here, what a waste." he exclaim out loud,

"Hehehe, I haven't seen you before, No house are available but the library is for rent, you need you run, which will be a pain and no fun, but it could be fun if you have parties or games while you're there or " "SHUT UP" Shouted Dusk.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't follow you and you story, anyways what is your name?" ask Dusk.

"Ooo.. Sorry, My name is Pinkie Pie; and You?" Pinkie said with hype. "Dusk, My name is Dusk." he answer. "OH

MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, are you a Prince; you have wings and dress."

"Yes, I'm Prince of the dirt that I stand on and the bugs around me." He said with great Sarcasm. "And I bid you 'Vale'." He say as he started to fly away. "I don't want to be here any more. So goodbye." He only got 20 feet away before he was hit by a flying carriage.

"Spike, what was that?"

"I don't know"

"I DO!" Dusk said as he climb form under the carriage into the cart.

"I'm sorry my good sir, The Great Trixie has terrible drivers pulling the carriage. And who might you be, I am Princess Celesta's number 1 student 'Trixie the Magnificent'."

Dusk just look at her, a small grin appeared on his face, a huff come from his chest, He just started laughing at her.

"What's so funny?" Spike asked

"This is the best she choose; This is just the cherry on my sunday. Now I For Sure that I've wasted nothing." Dusk said.

"What does that mean?" ask Spike

"That she choose a fool instead of me, but look who turned out better." He said

"Hey, the Great trixie is no fool, see here; I have trained under the Princess herself."Trixie exclaimed at dusk

"And who's in a better situation, the blue unicorn or the Purple Alicorn." He said revealing his wings

"Who are You?!" questioned Trixie

"DUSK SHINE, Prince of the WORLD!"
