The night was still as the moon flooded its brilliant light upon the world. It was the color of blue-white, moving ever so slowly across the sky as stars paved a path for the utmost brilliance of night. No clouds were visible in the sky save for Cloudsdale, the Pegasus city. It too was dark because of the soft light shining down upon it as opposed to the bright, scorching sunlight during the day. The houses and workplaces of the Pegasi were dark as the residents slept throughout the night. But, there was a very fancy cloud hotel that was reserved only for ponies of social importance, Twilight Sparkle being a prime example of such hierarchy. But, it was not her visiting this cloud hotel, appropriately named Raindrop Paradise.

A clerk was sitting behind the receptionists desk, his forelegs crossed on the cloudy furniture where customers would show up and pay bits to get to their rooms. He was a dark blue--almost like the night, to be exact--with a golden mane spiked as though it were a thunderbolt. His sleepy, sky-blue eyes tried to stay alert for any customers, but that was quickly failing. Today was boring, as nopony of the needed hierarchy showed up to spend the day at the hotel. It wasn't that uncommon, really--most days went by like this. He would make the Paradise pristine and proper by each passing day that was lonesome, and sleep on the receptionist desk during the nightly reign. That was his sole schedule, aside from serving the customers that did show up as though he were the sole maid (and he did dress in that uniform when asked to do so, which only made it more fitting of his role).

The clerkpony, named Nightingale, was just about to drift off to sleep when all of a sudden, the door opened with a gentle creak as the bell announcing a customer sounded in three consecutive rings. His eyes suddenly shot open to the fullest extent as he saw not one, but two alicorns walk in the Paradise. The first to be seen was a stallion with an orange pelt and a scarlet mane. This mane made unusual spiked bangs in front of his face and next to his cheeks, while the back part was tied back with a white ribbon. The spikes on the right side of his mane were much larger and more prevalent while the ones on his left only appeared at the margin's end. The back part that was tied back was excessively long for one such as he, as it barely reached his hooves. Nightingale assumed that, had the mane not been tied back, he would've kept tripping left and right. His horn was in between the lengths of Celestia and Twilight Sparkle, having five sections before the surprisingly sharp point at its end. His large wings, which started in brilliant scarlet and ended in a white-hot gold, looked as though they could not be folded properly due to the proportions of his body compared to the proportions the wings had. The base of his wings were a deep scarlet, almost blood crimson, and the colors of scarlet, orange, and the aforementioned white-hot gold formed a brilliant, almost life-like pattern reminiscent of a fire. His scarlet eyes gave off a warming vibe, but well-hid a bear waiting an ambush. Very few things provoked this bear, but when they did, a wrath unlike Celestia's own would crash down unto the offender with quick, calculative precision and the force of an erupting volcano. His tail was much like his mane: tied back with a white ribbon for most likely the same reason. He bore a device resembling a gun of sorts on his flank.

The second alicorn, a mare, was very different from her companion, and the time taken to notice this difference made it drastic by a long shot. Her pelt was as blue as Nightingale's eyes, but it was hard to tell if her hue was lighter in tint. Her mane was the color of the ocean, short, frill-like bangs were just over her eyes, and longer extensions thereof ended at the bottom of her cheeks. The back portion of this mane was straight until close to the end--had she been an earth pony or a unicorn, this mane would've made her look like she had freakishly small fearie wings on her back in perfect proportion should she rear up on her hind legs. On the top of her head, a little curl peeked over just above the length of her horn, which was a full section shorter than that of her companion's and clearly not as sharp. Her ocean-blue wings rested at her sides with ease, though she twitched them every once in a while to most likely ensure they were in working order. When she did this, the tips of all her feathers became mist grey, and a small veil of water vapor surrounded her wings momentarily. She bore ocean-blue eyes that looked purely innocent, but very well hid many secrets. What those secrets were, only she knew. She and nopony else except for a select few who were most likely never mentioned. A purple boomerang with sharp, blue 'teeth'--four in total with two on each side--adorned her flank.

Nightingale could not believe what he was seeing. As a matter of fact he suddenly slapped himself silly until he was dizzy. Once the bout of make the spinning world stop was over, he looked at the alicorns, and they were surprisingly still there. They looked at each other with concern before looking back at the clerkpony who looked like it was way past his bedtime. "Sorry for that rather unusual display, dear friends." Nightingale started with a soft smile. "But it's not very often I get customers. This place is usually reserved for those of social importance."

"It's quite alright, many ponies who saw us for the first time did the exact same thing--one time right in front of Princess Celestia no less. The Royal Guards sure are easy to shock." Smiled the blue alicorn.

"Really?" Asked Nightingale.

"Yes. It was...surprisingly hilarious. Not with the self-slapping, but with what happened after." Nodded the red alicorn. His presence, his voice, his very being was...exuding this invisible aura of warmth only felt with the closest of friends, the most connected of lovers.

"I suppose I should tell you who I am. I am Nightingale, owner, caretaker, and sole stallion-maid of this hotel. Please, tell me who you are." Said Nightingale in a warm tone of voice.

"Before we say our names, may I ask you one thing?" Asked the red stallion.

"Sure, go right ahead." Answered Nightingale with a nod.

"Almost fifteen years ago, me and my wife became a part of a total of five in a new set of Elements. I do suppose this news reached you during that time?" Said the red alicorn.

"Yes and no. My father ran this place back then. He told me about it and then...a hurricane killed him. I tried stopping it myself, but....a purple alicorn unlike Twilight Sparkle took me out of there, saying that it was much too dangerous. After the storm was cleared, she held a funeral for my dad, as he was the only one to have died at the time. I was but ten years old." Nightingale answered, a tear falling down his cheek. "To have lost the only pony left in my family is but a tragedy indeed. Once this hotel was rebuilt, I have run it since in hopes of seeing either that mare of one of her companions. Please, when you return to them, tell them I am doing well and give them my regards."

"Oh my. We will be sure to do so." Said the blue alicorn with a solemn nod.

"Thank you, it truly means a lot to me." Nightingale smiled as he wiped the tear away.

The red alicorn took a deep breath before he spoke. "It's going to sound strange, and my parents insisted left and right this be my name. It's Rekka."

"My name is Koto, and my parents did much the same." Spoke the blue alicorn with a sigh.

"Since you two are the only ones here, there is a box. Bits are deposited there, and it electrocutes any trying to break in." Nightingale said, pointing a hoof to a cloud table which had a box made of black thunderclouds. Rekka took off his saddlebag and shuffled through it a bit before pulling out a bag that had the most valuable of bits. The bag was emptied into the box before it was placed into the saddlebag once more.

"How many rooms are there?" Asked Koto, who was gazing at the ceiling.

"Only thirteen. Father insisted on keeping it like that. Family traditions sure run deep, don't they?" Nightingale sighed as he led the alicorns to the rooms. They looked in each room before moving on to the next.

"Yes. Yes they do. I just don't know why though." Koto answered.

"Did you say something about a maid earlier?" Asked Rekka, who finished examining the second-to-last room.

"Yes, I...feed the ponies who stay here. But there is another side of the coin as always." Nightingale answered.

"I think I had enough sex to see where that's going." Koto said, blushing bright pink.

"I wonder why you two are staying for the night." Nightingale commented.

"Cadence is staying at the Palace, and let's just say she parties way to hard." Rekka stated as he finished looking at the last room.

"So, your selection?" Nightingale asked.

"The seventh room. It has the largest bed." Rekka answered. Koto nodded.

"How long will Cadence stay?" Asked Nightingale.

"Just for the night." Answered the couple.

"Alright. There is a bell on a table if you need me." Nightingale said before he trotted away.

"I really find it strange there are no doors to the individual bedrooms." Koto pointed out.

"Must be for emergencies or something along the lines thereof." Rekka stated. "Either that or for peeping tomcats."

The hotel room was very simple: a clothing rack for hats and coats, the king-sized bed, a table with the bell on it, a few dresser drawers for storage and a window that led outside.

"When was the last time we fucked?" Asked Koto, who was blushing redder than a cherry.

"Um.....uh.....the.....the time we got drunk?" Rekka answered with a bit of difficulty. His eyes dilated a bit and a crooked smile crept on his face.

"Wasn't that fifteen years ago?" Koto asked again, ears flattened.

"Almost." Rekka stammered. His eyes dilated a bit more and the smile only widened.

Koto turned around and suddenly tackled her husband onto the bed. They rolled for a bit before the blankets flew off the cloud bed. Her hooves were once more on his chest as he heaved a bit from shock.

"Okay, you win." Rekka sighed with a smile.

"Why do they call the edge of a hoof a blade and the triangular indent part a frog? I don't get it." Koto asked.

"I'm just as stumped by that question. I heard it makes traversing in mud easier though." Rekka replied.

"The blade or the frog?" Koto asked again.

"The frog." Rekka answered before sighing once more.

"Am I pushing your chest too hard? You don't sound too well now." Koto said.

"Yeah, ya might wanna get off for a bit." Rekka replied. His wife complied, and she lay next to him for a few minutes as he caught his breath. During this time they talked about trivial things, like asking why Cadence like alcohol so damn much it made vending lady look like a foal in a sandbox, or asking about the damn frog and why it was called a frog. Now, the frog made no sense to them at all.

"Now that I think about it, isn't drunk sex....you know, unfulfilling?" Asked Rekka.

"You're...." Koto blinked a few times. "....You're right. Both times it happened we were flat-out drunk. And then Miss-I-Lecture-Everyone-Involved did her job."

"Bitching left and right?" Rekka replied.

"Yes. The stare alone...waa! I'd rather stare Fluttershy in the eye." Koto admitted.

"At least she doesn't ramble on. She just cuts right to the point." Rekka stated with a sigh.

"So...talk about awkward." Koto sighed, blushing once more as she saw two orange hooves on either side of her head.

"Ehheh.... yeah, awkward." Rekka said before kissing his wife. It was quick and clean, unlike the other times they kissed.

"HYA!" Koto almost screamed as she saw a figure in the doorway.

"Nightingale?? Next time, don't startle us, please." Rekka sighed with his right eye twitching. He didn't even bother turning over.

"Apologies, sire. It won't happen again." Nightingale replied before his figure left the room.

"Honey, that was way too awkward!" Koto said, still recovering from her brief shock.

"Apparently, 'awkward' is redefined for us in moments like this." Rekka said with a grunt.

"Did you grow a third eye too?" Koto asked.

"Maybe I did." Rekka shrugged with another warm smile. He kissed Koto once more, this time wrapping his forelegs around her as she put her hooves on his flanks. She quickly untied the mane ribbon (using magic), which allowed it to flutter gracefully without the bonds. With the ribbon, the mane was surprisingly thin in width. Without the ribbon, it kinda made him look like a mare from behind until you got a better look at him. It thickened in a way everypony assumed the ribbons had unusual magical properties, and who were they to lie? A hoof scratched right in that sweet spot between the wings, which earned the mare a few muffled moans from her mate as she simultaneously rubbed his horn using the other hoof. His lips broke away from hers and he started panting a bit as she continued fondling his horn, being weary of that sharp point. Her scratching hoof removed the other ribbon, which fell to the ground as though it were a really elongated feather. His tail thickened and almost spread like a wildfire, flaring out behind him and reaching his mate's tail-end. He took hold of her horn with one hoof and went under her tail with the other. "Ah..it feels....it feels strange but I--gha--like it..." Koto gasped as she felt the hoof shove itself into her second set of lips. Rekka took hold of his mate's head and, using his hoof, gently tugged her until her horn was within a better grasp. She suddenly felt his mouth on her horn as his lips touched her soft, silky fur.

She felt the hoof push in deeper and let off hushed moans as her horn began glowing a soft, almost nonexistent grey. The glow was concealed because of Rekka's mouth. His tongue delicately danced to and fro around the horn, coating every crevice in wet, hot saliva. "I....I can't--ah!--hold it much....longer..." Koto panted as the tingles of pleasure became too much to bear. A loud moan escaped her lips as her thighs and tail became soaked in a warm liquid. Her horn stopped glowing as the liquid began soaking her hind hooves and the cloudy bedsheets. For a few moments, her eyes scrunched shut as the hoof was removed from her marehood with a bit of ease. Her pants were reduced to mere in/exhales as the mouth of her husband removed itself from her horn. The still-warm, clear saliva soaked her forehead and a fraction of her bangs while the rest slid onto the pillow rather sloppily, creating a very slow-to-form wet spot very close to if not directly under her head. Their lips met once more, tongues caressing each other as a rather unusual taste of crisp, clean water was shared among the taste buds. But the taste also reminded them a teensy bit of sour associated with the yellow oval fruit called the lemon. It was really faint--almost nonexistent, even--and yet, surprisingly noticeable. A wet, orange hoof soaked more than ever before began rubbing the mare's backside, coating almost everything in a very thin veil of the sticky, crisp water. The wings remained untouched whatsoever as the hoof was coating hairs of the pelt thoroughly with utmost caution. At the same time, a fleshy mass was perched delicately between their stomachs as they continued kissing. Koto suddenly broke the kiss and sighed, a look in her eyes that only meant the bad memories came back to wreck everything, and this was heavily backed up with her ears folding back flat against her head.

"Them again? Sounds like we need Luna's help on that. But let's not worry about it at this time." Rekka sighed in a reassuring voice as he gingerly turned his wife on her stomach using his wet hoof. "If it hurts in...well, that way, just tell me and we'll go to sleep."

"Okay..." Koto replied, her whole being shaking uncontrollably with that pain inflicted way back when as her mate perched himself behind her. Her wings suddenly shot open and her eyes went wide the pain assaulted her once more. His hooves quickly put themselves upon her back and started massaging it calmly, yet fiercely. The open wings fell limp for a few moments before closing against her sides once more, the pain fleeting with the momentary feeling of numbness. It was no wonder she refrained from sex if she could help it once one understood what had happened in the prison house. But let's save that for another time. The massaging of her backside made it all wash away as peace returned to her mind for the time being. Her eyes closed in serenity for a few moments while the hooves slowed down quite a bit.

"Koto?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you mind biting on a pillow on preferably the worst part of said pillow to sleep on?"

Koto's ears perked up as she picked up the pillow she lay her head on and instantly found a spot on which to bite and clamped her mouth tighter than a trap jaw ant. She then made a nodding motion with her hoof before moving her tail aside. How could you nod your head with a pillow in your mouth without looking like either a fool, a maniac, or a savage animal no matter who the fuck you were? The hooves perched themselves on her shoulders and held her there, as if telling her to keep still lest something go horribly awry. Something warm and fleshy rubbed the warm, still-wet lips of its counterpart and perched itself just in front of the entrance to the canal and womb. A sudden shock of pained pleasure met the mare's body and mind as the fleshy object pushed its way in without so much as a second thought. "MPH!! MMHMMMMPH!" Koto moaned into the pillow as the flesh-thing continued to pull itself in and out with a hastening pace. Her horn once again flared to life in unison with that of her mate's as they magically added more pleasure-inducing vibes to each other's fleshparts.

"Ah....ah...AHHH!!!!! AH!" Rekka panted as he tried to not scream his pleasure. His large wings threw themselves wide, spanning half the length required from the wall on which the window was perched and the table with the bell that was labeled 'summon Nightingale' on a piece of paper. The massive wings flapped to and fro as the magic not only added to the pleasure, but kept his horny ass grounded to the cloud on top of Koto. Scarlet, orange, and white-hot gold feathers freed themselves from their confinement and danced about in the gusts of wind created by the wing-beats. His eyes scrunched shut as tightly as they could manage while beads of sweat began forming at a hastening rate. He threw his head and long mane high to the ceiling and shrieked his wife's name right as the pleasure became unbearable. A loud, final flap of his wings signaled the inevitable moment that occurred mere seconds later. A pop sounded as his member removed itself from the tunnel and went into hiding, still releasing its load. His hooves slipped off Koto's shoulders as he found himself landing on her backside face-first into her mane. Their horns ceased flaring with magic as his own wings fell limp, half of their lengths on the cloud floor as if glued that way.

"Someone's....barely awake." Koto commented as she let go of the pillow.

"Fweu fon'd haff throom fo falk." Rekka mumbled into Koto's mane, his wings still unmoving. Most of his mane stuck to his face and backside, held there by sweat. The tail didn't fare much better.

"I did what to a room?" Koto asked with a heavy, exhausted sigh.

Rekka removed his face from her mane and groaned like it was a chore he was doing. "You. Don't. Have. Room. To. Talk." He repeated before falling fast asleep. Koto sighed calmly before fluffing the pillow and going off into dreamland as well. As they slept quietly, a dark blue Pegasus stallion with a golden bolt-mane, sky-blue eyes and a cloud with a feather duster adorning his flank picked up the blanket and gently slid it over the sleeping couple, making sure not to step on the wings that lay limp upon the scene. He then picked up the ribbons and mess of scattered feathers and put them on the table that held the ringing bell. One of the two shifted in their sleep, causing the pony to spread his wings as seeing Koto move a hoof shocked him. He sighed as she stayed perfectly asleep, blissfully unaware of the third pony. His wings folded back to his sides, and he walked quietly out of the room and to the receptionist desk. Princess Luna greeted him this time around with a warm smile.

"Where are they?" Luna whispered to Nightingale.

"Seventh room. I just finished covering them up. The blanket was on the floor." Answered Nightingale with a soft sigh.

"Alright. I'll see Koto shortly in her dreams." Luna said with a nod before she walked to the room as quietly as could be managed.

"That was a fine display of sex. How did they not notice me the second time?" Asked Nightingale to himself in a hushed whisper. He blushed brightly, but then shrugged it off before he crossed his forelegs onto the desk and laying his head in them. A deep slumber followed him shortly afterwards, almost as though he were rewarded for his hard work all these years.
