As the Dog would say...

Walker dug through the storage area on another set of brotherhood armor. For the last half an hour him and the Elder had been battling, albeit non-lethally, very hard through the bunkers hallways, looking for any remaining members that hold allegiance to Strong Scroll. So far they had found about 20, many of which had been sent through back passages to try and find more and reach the control area to broadcast to the others and the message of Steel's betrayal.

Finally he heard the voice, a small initiate they found hiding in a locker named Smashing Lance. His voice resonated through the halls over the intercom. "This is Initiate Smashing Lance speaking. Knight Steel has betrayed our brotherhood and wished to kill Elder Strong Scroll and take his place as Elder, while hoarding even more of our technology and plotting to take over Equestria. All knights, please lay down your arms and meet in the great hall for a ceremony."

Walker looked at Strong Scroll and smiled. "Looks like I win our little bet."

Strong Scroll smiled and shook his head. "Fine, but I still don't see why you only want 25 of the offered 50."

"Because I want you to give him a promotion as well."  He smiled. As a man he wanted the cash; but as someone who once got a chance granted to do good by a superior, and rewarded after he knew what it could do to self esteem and efficiency.

Scroll nodded and pointed to a side door. "That shall lead you to the outside world. The main entrance is there, I hope you have achieved what you came for. And on that offer, I will send out letters to you and the princesses about the subject. We will meet soon." Walker nodded and ran toward the exit.

He found his things and re-geared himself. According to his Pip-Boy it was about 2100 hours. Time to head to Canterlot Memorial Hospital and check on his new friend.

He walked through the roads of Canterlot toward the hospital marked on his map. He had been walking all night, rather slowly at that. He was almost out of medical supplies and he had sprained his ankle. Normally he'd just smash some wood from an old chair and fashion a makeshift splint until he found a place to camp out. Now he had no wood, and no gauze to wrap it.

Limping into the hospital he found the nurse he talked to when he entered the first time. "I'm here to see that girl."  He said in his cold, gravely voice.

She nodded. "Fluttershy is being held in the trauma ward, north corner, fifth floor." He nodded and made his way to the elevator. He made his way to the trauma ward and began checking rooms. After about ten minutes he found her room.

Inside the room sat all of her friends. "How is she holding up?" He asked no one particular.

"She's doing great no thanks to you." Spat Rainbow Dash from beside the cot. She jumped from her seat and about charged at him. As she got close and went to hit him, helmet and all, a hand shot seemingly out of nowhere and grabbed her arm.

Looking up she saw a light flicker through the dark red eye slots of his helmet. The more she looked the more it chilled her, a seemingly holy light, befitted with an under tone of something dark, something from the depths of hell. "I think she's all the better thanks to me, for she could still be sitting in a cave, with no light, and only the feeling of the cold ground and the hot breath of a marauder as he rapes her. You should be thankful I decided to care."

The tears spilled out from her eyes at the words. Perhaps it was his fault this happened, but it was also because he cared enough to bring her here for medical care. The other girls looked on astonished, the famous Rainbow Dash had been all but reduced to a pile of sobbing rubble by this man. He removed his visor and walked over to Fluttershy's cot.

"What did they say is wrong with her?"

Twilight stepped forward. "She was beaten pretty bad, they say she has some pretty major bone damage and that the trauma done to her may be permanent."

Grimacing at the words he pulled off his A.L.I.C.E pack, filled with his medical supplies. "Close that door, I caused this and I'm about to fix it, with what little supplies I have left." Applejack closed the door and turned ust as he pulled something from his Pip-Boy. It seemed to be a flash drive of some sort.

Before they could ask what he was doing he cut a piece of his scalp off and planted the device. Without warning a male voice came from his Pip-Boy. "Well what have we here. Thought you'd never use that device we rigged up. Need a bit of medical advice?"

Walker nodded and began setting tools and devices out from the bag. "You know what's wrong. I was thinking going in and using some of the healing gel from the mother ship directly to the damaged areas."

A rumble came from the device. "No, try using the sonic-transmitter on revelation. The shock wave will create a pulse and increase blood flow within the areas, making a stimpak more useful."

"Yes but the force wave from this close could shatter her spine. What about using the transmitter on the gel set to opera singer. That would cause the same rippling effect on the area and heal part of the wound internally through the skin as it is absorbed. Then we could pop a stimpak and that would heal internally."

His brain waited for a moment. "That would also take something alive holding the gel. Who would be stupid enou-" Before he could finish his sentence Walker had the gel in his palm and the transmitter aimed directly at it. "I didn't even need to ask did I."

Pulling the trigger five times and wincing all the while he jolted the healing gel full of the sub-sonic waves. "No you didn't. This should do it." He tucked the small radio transmitter device and began to apply the gel to the areas pointed out by Twilight as he went.

As the gel ran dry and he had covered the afflicted areas he pulled a super stimpak and sterilized the needle. Grabbing the small girls arm he jammed the needle into the vein most prominent. Fluttershy seemed to jump at the sudden injection.

Looking at the sudden jump in her vitals he figured it was working to full effect. Banging came from the door as doctors and nurses also noticed the spike in vitals. Pulling the small device from his head and replacing the piece of scalp he headed for the door clutching his hand.

Opening it he nodded to the doctor. "Sorry sir, she woke up and I slipped and fell, smashed my hand and tore my stitches on my head, she freaked and passed back out. Think you could help me?" The doctor looked flabbergasted at the man. Nodding he helped Walker to the room over.

All the girls looked at each other with looks of shock. For a cold killing man he was cunning and smart. And just as well, Twilight would have to ask about that thing in his head.

Walker entered the room once more to see Fluttershy awake for real. Walking over he took a knee by the bed and asked her a few questions, starting with. "Are you okay?"

The doctor beat her to the answer. "She's remarkable. Something suddenly healed her miraculously. As though it were science fiction." Walker just smiled and turned back to Fluttershy.

Twilight stepped up. "Walker, um, what was that thing you did with your head."

Turning he looked at her for a moment before realizing what she meant. "Back in the think tank I realized how smart my brain was. So me and the floaters came up with a device that would go in my head over my brain and connect to my neural membrane. The piece from my pip- boy allows it access to my radio and allows it to speak. So I can talk to my sub-conscious with my untapped intelligence. Basically I kick my brain into over drive and allow myself to talk to myself and actively know everything in my brain."

She was dumb struck. He had found a way to talk to himself, through himself, and use every aspect of his brain at once. "SO you make yourself into the ultimate thing. You can see, hear, know, and feel with everything in your head, and computers?" He nodded with a grin.

Applejack stepped up with a single question. "Why did you do that for her?"

It was unexpected to say the least. Questions like that are never truly answerable without looking at everything deeply. He supposed he would ask an old friend for the answer. "Because we all gotta fight the good fight, for each other. The one rule we got in the big fight is; you wanna help, you gotta contribute."

His answer held a philosophical meaning and seemed okay. They accepted it and continued. "Well," said the doctor. "It seems everything is okay. We should be able to release you as soon as you sign these papers." He said handing Fluttershy a stack of documents.

She wrote her signature and initialed wherever it said and handed back the papers. "Alright, now you all have a pleasant day." Walker helped Fluttershy from the cot and to the door.

"Um, Walker. You may wanna let her get some clothes on first." Turning he looked on confused, till he realized she was just wearing the hospital gown and undergarments. Grinning sheepishly he let go of her arm and walked off to the exit.

He exited the hospital and found the main road to Ponyville. He hadn't slept in two days, and he knew a couch that he hadn't exactly taken an offer on- well he was going to now.
