Pinkie pie finds out how babies are made.
Where do foals come from?
"My dear, surely you're joking"
Exclaimed Rarity, as she looked up from her lunch at a somewhat confused pinkie pie.
"You MUST know where foals come from, surely"
"But I don't, that’s why I asked you silly"
Replied pinkie staring at the white unicorn intently.
"Well I don't think I'm the best one to explain it to you dear"
Rarity said as she munched on an olive.
"Then who CAN?"
Squeaked pinkie obviously frustrated with her friends answer.
"Perhaps twilight could help you dear, she's bound to have a book about it somewhere"
Replied rarity dismissively waving a hoof in the direction of the library.
With a blur of pink, Pinkie was gone zooming off towards the library intent on finding an answer to her question.
Pinkie burst through the door to the library, causing both twilight and spike to jump in surprise
"TWILIGHT I HAVE A SUPER IMPORTANT QUESTION AND I NEED ANSWERS NOW!!"
Pinkie squawked, franticly bouncing up to twilight.
"WOH pinkie slow down!"
Twilight said calmly as the bouncing pink mare began sacking the shelves, franticly searching for something.
"Uh I better uh... re Organize the kitchen"
Spike said, making a hasty retreat. Twilight turned to the still frantic pinkie
"What are you looking for? Maybe I cou-"
But twilight was cut off by a squeak from pinkie
"WHERE DO BABIES COME FROM?! ".
There was a shocked silence as twilight stared at her pink friend, trying to make out if she was serious.
"Um... you mean you don't know?"
Twilight asked hesitantly
"Well DUH"
Pinkie sighed
"Why else would I ask you?”
Twilight continued to stare at her for a few more seconds before speaking.
"Pinkie how old are you?"
She asked
"You know how old I am Twi"
Pinkie replied, confused
"I'm eighteen like Rainbowdash"
Twilight's jaw moved up and down for a few moments before she spoke
"You're eighteen and you don't know where foals come from?"
"YES!"
Pinkie screamed in frustration
"THATS WHY I asked you cause rarity and applejack wouldn't tell me and Raibowdash just laughed like it was a joke but I didn't get it and Fluttershy just went all red and I don't know why and-"
Pinkies babbling was cut off by twilight saying
"OK I get it. You really wanna know?"
"Yes, yes, yes!"
Cried pinkie, bouncing on the spot. Without taking her gaze of pinkie twilight levitated a book off a nearby shelf and gave it to pinkie. Pinkie looked at the title
"Reproduction for beginners?"
Pinkie gave twilight a questioning look
“Just read it"
Twilight said sitting back down and getting back to her own book.
After a few minutes twilight heard a gasp from Pinkie
"HE PUTS WHAT WHERE?"
Twilight had to hold back her giggles. A few more seconds passed
"IT DOES WHAT!"
Twilight couldn't stop a little chuckle escaping her lips but Pinkie was too engrossed in the book to notice. After a few more minutes the pink mare closed the book and stared a Twilight.
"Well?"
Twilight asked. Pinkie stared at her for a few long seconds before looking back at the closed book.
"Doesn't that hurt?"
She asked looking back at Twilight
"You know the stallion doing... that?"
Twilight looked at her friend slightly embarrassed
"Um well not from what I've heard... perhaps rarity might be able to tell you more"
A now blushing twilight said turning back to her book.
"Why would rarity know?"
Pinkie asked Twilight’s blush got even more intense
"Uh well she um... lets just say she has... experience on the subject"
Pinkies eyes went wide
"YOU MEEN SHE HAD A FOAL?"Twilight facehooved
"No not exactly, look just ask her about 'sex' and I'm sure she'll answer all your questions"
Pinkie cocked her head
"Sex?"
Pinkie asked
"Just ask her about it"
Twilight said dismissively.
"Okey dokie lokie"
Pinkie said suspiciously as she headed out the door back towards the boutique.

A few moments later pinkie was outside the colorful building. She knocked on the door.
Rarity answered
"Ye- oh, pinkie"
There was a brief pause before she spoke again
"Did twilight answer your question?"
Pinkie took a deep breath.
"Twilight gave me this book and it said stuff that I thought must be really, really painful but twilight said that it wasn't and that a should ask you about SEX cause she said you knew about it and had 'experience' but I didn’t know what she meant and I’m really confused so that’s why I'm here!"
Rarity looked at the panting earth pony for a few second before stepping aside
"You better come in"
She sighed motioning for the pink party mare to enter. Pinkie trotted in gleefully she was finally going to get answers. Rarity motioned for pinkie to sit on one of the couches in the corner of the boutique.
A few hours later a pensive pinkie pie slowly walked back to sugar cube corner. When she opened the door she was greeted by Mrs. Cake who sat behind the counter feeding pumpkin cake with a piece of muffin.
"Are you ok pinkie?"
The kindly baker asked with a frown
"You don't seem as happy as usual"
Pinkie simply stared at her and then at the foal that she was still holding, just then Mr. Cake walked in.
"Hi pinkie I see your ba-"
He was cut off pinkie as she screamed at the top of her lungs and bolted out of the bakery. All eyes stared at the door that pinkie had just exited through
"What’s gotten into her?"
Asked Mr. cake scratching his head in confusion.
