Work, Drinks, and True Love
Applejack wiped the sweat away from her forehead as she looked at the sky. Those barrels sure were heavy. And without a doubt, once again Rainbow Dash hadn't shown up to help.
"That lazy mare..." she said as she made her way back to her house.
Applejack collapsed on the near-by sofa, her hat trailing off of her head and gently drifting down onto her face. Hard work day after day, it was about two weeks before Applebuck season, and all there was is work to be done. Not like it wasn't that way for the Apple family, but there time off has been cut.
And it was yesterday when Applejack was working when Rainbow Dash was preforming her tricks, and she went crash landing into the barrels they had stocked up.
"Sorry." Said the cyan mare.
"Rainbow Dash, why is it this time you have to do your stunts? It's almost Applebuck season, and we don't have any time to clean up after your mess!"
"But... the Wonderbolts were practicing in this general area, and I thought they would see me doing my stunts, and wan't to hang out with them! But a sudden wind came out of nowhere! And it messed me up. Sorry about your barrels. I promise I'll swing by tomorrow to help. Honest!"
Applejack raised a brow at the pegasus. But she rolled her eyes before agreeing to her offer. They then went separate ways and suspected to see each other the next day.
Or so Applejack thought...
Because of the thought, it drew her back to being angry. Why would she say that she was going to come, and then not? It was almost dark, and she hadn't seen a trace of her.
Her thoughts were then interrupted at a knock on the door.
Applejack grumbled as she lifted herself off the couch and then fixed her hat as she went to go answer the door.
She opened it to see a cyan mare at her step, rubbing the back of her head with her hoof, and looking a bit embarrassed.
"Hey AJ."
"Rainbow, what do ya wan't?"
"I came by to see if you needed any help, remember?"
"It wouldn't had hurt much if you'd come by two hours ago, when there was still daylight!"
"I know, but I was real busy."
"I bet'chya were."
"Really! I had some extra weather stuff to do. But guess what?"
"What?"
"I bought some drriinnnkks..."
Rainbow Dash turned around to pull something out of her saddlebag, Applejack coming to realize later that it was a bottle of Vodka.
Applejack gave a stern look at the blue pony. She had the nerve to come, but to drink? She couldn't accept it, she was too busy to do any drinking.
"Dash, I can't."
Rainbow Dash pouted." Why not?! Is anypony home?"
"No, there out on vacation. I'm home alone for the next three days."
"Perfect." She said as she started to make her way into the house."Can I come in?"
Applejack hesitated for a second. If she said no- there would be more whining and more to drive her to insanity. As Applejack thought of these possibilities, she gave in. "Why not." Said the orange mare. They both walked inside, shutting the door behind.
Rainbow Dash started to empty out her saddlebag on the kitchen table that was right next to the front door.
Applejack's eyes nearly popped out of her head as she watched Rainbow Dash line up bottle after bottle on the table. After that, she did a mental count to find exactly eight bottles of Vodka.
"How in the hay do you think that I'm going to drink all of that?!?"
"Well, I'll drink some, too! You made it sound like I only bought them for you."
"Rainbow, no. I've got to stay focused. There's no way I can-"
"On what? Sleeping? You don't focus on that. It's one night, and all your going to do is drink. What's a couple drinks going to hurt? It will even make you feel better."
Applejack looked into her eyes, and rolled her own. "Only because you still owe me for not helping with the barrels." She said through gritted teeth.
Rainbow Dash smiled as she turned around to look through all the cabinets for the whine glasses.
"See? What I tell ya? There's nothing better than-"
Rainbow Dash was cut off along with all of the power in the house. The lights all went out as Rainbow Dash froze.
"Hehe, the power's a little rusty out here. I'm gonna go see the cable box, you STAY PUT." She said through gritted teeth as she went to look for a flashlight that if she remembered correctly, was to her left and on top of the refrigerator. She moved to the left, dodging a chair from the table to feel the top of the fridge. As she expected, there remained her flashlight when was used last.
She flipped it on as she flashed it into Rainbow Dash's face. She winced and tried to hide behind her hooves away from the light.
"I'll be right back." She said as she shut the door behind her.
Rainbow Dash sat there in the dark. She tried to remember her way around the kitchen, but she thought It'd be better not. She didn't wan't another brief discussion of how they 'didn't have the time to pick up after her like a filly.' But she didn't care. All she heard was sweet sounds and her moving lips she so desired to press her's against.
Nopony knows it, but she secretly was in mad love with the earth pony. All she want's is to hang out with her all the time. She was always on her mind, when she is working, and even in her dreams. Everyone wonders why she sleeps all the time. Little do they know...
In the dark she could feel her face warm up as she blushed. The thought of Applejack had brought her to feel embarrassed on her own.
Applejack flashed the flashlight into the power box. She saw something was unplugged, looked almost as if somepony did it themselves...
She reached into the box to plug it back in. She poked the slot with the chord, only to jolt back as the electricity ran through her body. She wiggled her hoof in the air in pain as she looked to see her lights back on from a window out side. It lead her to wonder if Rainbow Dash had stayed put as she was told. Rainbow Dash.
The name ran a chill down her spine. The love that was made for her was incredible, may even be beyond belief! But she never did work up the guts to tell her how she felt. What if she didn't return the feelings? And what if she didn't even roll that way? And worst of all,
What if it damaged their friendship?
She couldn't live if any of this happened. So she was use to putting the thought out of her mind, and carrying on with her life. But never actually giving it the chance...
The orange mare shook her head as she once again ignored the thought of the thought and went heading back inside the house.
But the question still rang in her mind,
"What if she felt the same?"
***---***
Rainbow Dash watched as the lights flickered back on. She sighed and found her sight trailing to the liquor.
"Well... a few shots before she gets back wont hurt."
She grabbed a wine glass and started pouring the Vodka. Drinking her way into a stupor...
Applejack moaned as she opened the door to enter into her home. She looked into the kitchen to see Rainbow Dash sitting in the seat at the far side of the table. She had her body flopped over, her head rested on the dinner table, and her colorful mane bathed the spot where her head rested.
"Rainbow Dash!"
Her head didn't move an inch. Just a sudden *hic* escaped the motionless Pegasus.
She slowly held her head up. Staring straight at the orange mare.
"Hhheeeyyyy AAAJJJJ. Did-*hic*- Did you ever go to...to..."
"To what?"
"I... forgot what I was gonna say." She patted the chair next to her."Come. Sit and-*hic*- have a drink with me."
"You've had enough to drink for 'tha night."
"Just one. And I promise I'll put it away."
"Ugggghhh. Fine."
Applejack sat down in the chair that was pointed out by Rainbow Dash earlier, only to jolt back up in a cry.
"Mah flank! There's a 'splinner in mah-"
"I got it!" Yelled Rainbow Dash. She turned her around to observe her plot. She felt embarrassed for a short second, that is until she found the splinter in her right cheek.
"Okay, this might hurt."
"WA-Wait a- AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"
"Done."
Applejack rubbed her sore bum as she messed around with her wine glass as she watched Rainbow Dash gulp hers down.
"Y-you know w-what?! You, why did y- *hic* you get WOODEN chairs anyways?!"
"Heck if ah know! I've had them for a long time. They are old, ya know."
"Mmh." She moaned. "Hey Applejack, wanna p-play a game?"
"Wat'chya had in mind?" She said with interest.
"Wanna play Have you ever?"
"What kindda game is that?!"
"You hold up your glass, and I have to say something I have never done, and if you never done it either, then we both take a drink."
"OK. What if you have done it?"
"Then... you gotta kiss me."
Applejack blushed. She had been completely caught by surprise, her only love, the brash and bold, Rainbow Dash, wanted to share lips with her.
"That is... if your not a chicken."
That's it.
"No! I aint a chicken! I'll play!"
Rainbow grinned. Her plan was going as it should. Or.. whatever she had on her mind. Right now she was really fucked up, so her head could not keep a course for nothing.
"Have you ever... kicked a cow?"
"Rainbow, I work with cows every month. I have to kick them to get them to where I need them to go."
"Well, then pucker-up butter-cub!" Said Rainbow mocking her country accent.
She moved in, Applejack doing the same. There faces moved in closer as they were one breath away from each other.
Applejack heart beat louder than a base drum, and her body feeling sooth affection as her lips met Dash's. They kissed passionately for a few seconds and then broke, out of air.
"Wow, you sure do have a few skills, Applejack." She said panting.
Applejack blushed rapidly, unable to control her sweet affection running through her body.
"Yeah. . . I guess so."
"Next question." Said Rainbow Dash. Applejack braced herself as the night continued with the never ending questions.
***---***
Applejack slouched in her chair as Rainbow's head rested on the table. They both have had a large amount to drink, but very little the PDA.
They were well drunk. Silence ringed until words were spoken from Applejack.
"I. . . Have. . . One more. . . Question."
Rainbow moaned, but her head did not move." What."
"Have you ever loved a mare before?"
Rainbow Dash lifted up her head. Shock was enforced on her face. "What did you say?"
"I said, have you ever loved a mare before?"
Rainbow Dash looked down at the ground for a moment. She then shut her eyes tightly as she had final thoughts to her conclusion.
This is it. . . Now or never. Tell her your feelings, or be hidden behind true emotions? Do I. . . Love her? Should I tell her how I feel about her?
Yes. I will.
She opened her eyes, exhaling while doing so. This should be easy, right? Just tell her you like her. And if she doesn't like you back. . . Well. . . We'll see.
"I. . . I have feelings for you."
Applejack froze. Her heart stopped and started right up again, skipping beats as it paced faster than ever before. "I. . . Rainbow, I-"
Her sentence was cut off by Rainbow Dashes lips against hers. This kiss was different than the ones before, completely different. This one was so. . . Affectionate. Like she was spilling all of her love into the orange mare.
And she widened her eyes as the blue Pegasus broke her away from the source of love that she was implying to the earthpony.
"Applejack, I have felt this way for a long time. I never told you, but it was because I thought you wouldn't return my feelings, and it would damage our friendship. Applejack. . . I love you."
Applejack smiled and took off her hat and looked down at it shyly. She sat there and blushed before Rainbow Dash remarked again." Do you return my-"
Her sentence was cut off as Applejack pressed her lips tightly against hers. She shut her eyes as she kissed Rainbow Dash. She then broke from her and looked her in the eyes.
"I love you too."
Rainbow Dash leaned in, closer to her face once again, but before making connection with her face, whispering the word, "Cool."
***---***
Rainbow Dash busted the door down to Applejack's bedroom. Her clumsy, and slightly drunk self was stumbling with Applejack into her room, when Rainbow Dash stood on her hind legs, about to fall over the frame to her bed, when Applejack pushed her.
Then Rainbow Dash watched as Applejack jumped on the bed, landing on top of Rainbow Dash in shock.
Rainbow chuckled as she reached over and turned off the lamp on her bed side table. Leaving the only light source being the window, and the moonlight that was spilling in.
Rainbow Dash rubbed her hooves against Applejack's sides, as they slowly started to move on top of her. She moved within rhythm, pleasuring her with every motion she made.
Rainbow Dash held her firmly as her body swung back and forth, rubbing there lower parts together. She embraced her as she started to kiss her neck passionately. Rainbow Dash moaned silently, but not loud enough to hear. Applejack then moved lower as her wet kisses followed a trail behind her. Then she had reached to her private area and started to kiss there.
Rainbow Dash gritted her teeth as she held back her cries of desire. But it became more and more difficult as she kisses more deeply.
Finally, after realizing that she wasn't going to stop until she got what she longed for, her to tap out. She really couldn't last any longer anyways, so she moaned as loud as she could, and hit the other side of the bed.
Applejack stopped only to move upwards toward the upper part of Rainbow Dash, pulling her red hair-tie out, letting her hair fall down as the strawberry blond river fell past her shoulders.
She then collapsed on top of the Pegasus, allowing her to take her turn.
Rainbow Dash used her wings to lift herself into the air while flipping the orange mare over.
Applejack rose her flank in the air and swooshing it around, teasing the cyan mare. Rainbow Dash gripped her waist as she moved against her plot.
A zap of excitement and pleasure coursed through Applejack's body, felling Rainbow Dashes privates rub against her bum.
Rainbow Dash painted as she moved faster, increasing the pace. Applejack's increase of pleasure was now exposed as well, as she started to groan and keep herself up.
They both continued to make sweet love, showing affection through the night.
***---**
Rainbow Dash opened her eyes slowly as she turned her head to face Applejack. She was curled up in a ball, like a little puppy. She was so adorable when she was asleep. She could stay like this forever. Under the warm sheets with the one mare she loved. And the morning light shone brightly through the window in the room.
She scooted closer to the orange mare, snuggling with her warm body as she whispered in her ear.
"I love you, Applejack."
