Ponies React to...Amnesia, The Dark Descent
After a long day of studying, Twilight Sparkle only wanted to retreat to her computer to play games. Boredly scrolling through "study games", Twilight eventually came across something that caught her eye.
"Amnesia...The Dark Desent? I don't remember installing this...Oh well, maybe Pinkie sent it" Twilight muttered. "Spike! Bring me a hot chocolate...And a cushion please!" The purple mare shouted out. Reading the blurb, the game sounded scary, but Twilight's bored brain failed to register that. After Spike had delivered her wants, Twilight booted up the game. With the lights off, the gmae's start up screen seemed even darker, with the scratchy writing.
"Dear Celestia..." Twilight muttered as she wandered through the dark mazes. "This is boring. Where's the scares?" Just at that moment a two-legged creature with a gaping mouth and all covered with bandages smashed it's way through the door Twilight was just about to open. The only way back, Twilight directed the character back down the passage.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Twilight screamed, not caring that it was almost 11:00pm and Luna's moon hung high in the sky.Turning back, Twilight watched this thing slash at her. A bloodied claw mark appeared on the screen then her character fell over. The words "You Have To Carry On" floated around the screen.
"Twilight! What's the matter?! Are you okay?" Spike came tearing down the stairs, tripping at the bottom. Twilight sat panting, then smiled.
"I'm fine Spike. Just...Just a bit of a scare, you know?" Twilight sat staring as Spike dusted himself off.
"Oh...well..." Spike looked at the game. " You shouldn't be playing that now. It looks scary."
"Oh go to bed Spike. I'm fine. Really." After much insisting, and a promise of ice-cream did Spike finally let up and went back to bed, carrying the ice-cream tub.
"Don't stay up too long!" he called out behind him. Rolling her eyes, Twilight returned her gaze to the screen. After finding out all about "Daniel", "Alexander" and almost reaching the end of the game did Twilight unclench her teeth from the cushion she had wrapped around herself and look out the window.
"Dear sweet Celestia. Did I really stay up all night?!" True enough, Celestia's Sun was slowly making it's way over the hills.
"Well, I can't stop yet. I have...to...know..." Her gaze again captured by the screen,
