I wriggled out of mother's chrysalis and yawned. I looked into mother's calm blue-green eyes and closed my eyes preparing  for short, and quiet nap in my new hex. "My little changeling you must be the lucky one..."

Much Later...

I began to clean up my hex and remembered: Today was my 7th birthday! Not only that mother was coming! She normally came to a filly's 10th birthday but today is 7/7 so yeah I don't know... Mother burst through the door and gasped for breath, " My lucky son, i'm afraid you are... gulp DEFECTIVE..."  I stared at mother in the verge of tears, " Please mother tell me the truth..." " I'm afraid you are defective my son", Chrysalis sighed. I noticed that mother didn't call me lucky this time. I looked back at my filly friends who turned away from my glance and bolted towards the door and scram, "DEFECTIVE! DEFECTIVE! DEFECTIVE!" My dream girl looked away with tears and whispered, " I'm so sorry." She galloped away as her last words rang in my head. Chrysalis whistled and patted my head and said dryly, " Good bye Lucky..." 7 drones burst through the door one of them signaled three to destroy the 7 presents and himself and the other three to carry me away from mother and the now destroyed party. " Mother! Help me!", I scram. "Sorry kid you are going to the defective room and besides it was your mother who ordered us to take you away..."
