Breaking His Shackles
Part 1 Awakening,
The sounds of the machines during the night means the slaves are probably still at work.
He thought to himself.
I think I can make my escape sooner or later if this part of the factory is closed down for the night.
Opening the door to his quarters a young dark blue pegasus stallion step out of his room with a saddle bag on his side he knew he had to pay one last visit to someone before he left he trotted to a nearby room and knocked on it and waited.
I hope she’s still up if she’s not I can respect it.
Soon the door opened a purple pegasus mare stood before him wondering why he was still up.
“Shadow Wing what are you doing up do you have rounds during the night now?”
“Wisp Dash I’m leaving I don’t belong here and we both know this I don’t like causing pain.”
“Leaving where would you go. Why are you leaving anyway?”
“Wisp I never wanted to be here anyway so I’m leaving tonight I’m leaving Cloudsdale for good.”
The purple mare was shocked when he said and shut the door on him so he can go.
I guess this means good bye for good then. He thought Shadow Wing then starts walking for the door to the Device and the next room to the balcony that he would leave from but when he opens the door.
“Hey you there get back in your quarters now!”
He was caught Shadow then bolts into a gallop knocking every slave out of his way.
“He’s trying to escape sound the alarm!”
A loud buzz started ringing through the Factory, Shadow picked up his pace then spread his wings and took off flying through every door to the balcony that he was going to fly off from but not knowing the weather team was planning a thunder storm and it started and a bolt of lightning struck him on his left wing and he crash lands in ponyville close enough for somepony to see him land roughly and gallop to his aid.
"Oh my gosh is he okay?"
The sounds of a mare’s voice very faint but he could here it then every thing goes fuzz.
Awakening five hours later Shadow Wing opens his eye’s to a wooden roof his in a house the thinks to himself he sits up and see’s that his factory coat was still on him but his left wing was bandaged up he notices the door standing wide open and hears voices from down stairs two mare’s talking.
“Your saying he crashed down when lightning must have struck him?”
“Yes that’s what I’m saying Rarity, but the weird thing is he’s wearing a weather factory jacket covered in blood.”
“Blood you don’t think he’s been working on stirring the rainbows and some just splashed on him instead.”
“Good point I did not think of that but still I’ll have Flash look into it soon as he gets back from cantorlot.”
At that point the dark blue stallion got on his hooves and begins slowly trotting down to the area where the voices were coming from he makes his way down to seeing lavender and white mares talking not noticing him.
“Speaking of Flash is he the reason why you got that black eye? Darling he did not hit you again did he?”
“This no I hit myself on the door knob one night when I went to get a drink it’s nothing Rarity.”
“If you say so darling but….”
She was cut off by the sight of the stallion in the room the lavender one turns around to see him on his hooves
“Oh your awake good um my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is my friend Rarity.”
“My name is Shadow Wing and what you said about my weather jacket is true its blood.”
“What do you mean its blood it looks red from a rainbow stirring?”
“See that’s the case I worked at the weather factory but not the part you must have seen.”
“Wait you worked in the upper levels of the Factory where the Spectra for rainbows is made?”
“Well yeah but there’s a story behind it the upper levels are not what you think it is.”
Telling the mare’s about the Factory upper levels almost made them vomit on the stallion but they stopped themselves.
“That’s just awful Shadow Wing working in that place for years no wonder you escaped.”
“I know darling you should consider changing your race and last name to something else what is your cutie mark.”
Shadow wing removes the jacket and shows a music note with a wing on it.
“A music note I usually don’t see music pegasi how about we change you into a unicorn and your name from Shadow Wing to Shadow Magic instead.”
“I never thought of going into music until now yeah I would like to become a unicorn.”
“Ok well we can perform the spell tomorrow morning your more then welcome to stay here at the library.”
“Well thank you Miss Sparkle but I don’t know what if this Flash Sentry pony finds out that your helping an escaped factory worker?”
“Well your right he would be asking why but me and him are fighting right now as it is.”
“Did he give you that black eye?”
“Yes he did he’s really abusive but he became a guard to keep the ponies of cantorlot safe he comes home tonight.”
The sound of this pony abusing this mare made Shadow want to stay and made sure he protects her with his life his combat training from the factory will pay off.
Shadow returns to his room and lays on the bed thinking of what happened when he left getting zapped by lightning he wondered if they would send him to hunt him but he did not care only sleep mattered to him he closes his eye’s and begins to dream of what happened when he was a colt.
“You will be our new slave boy you can rise up in the ranks like the rest of us did and make your way here or die.”
“Yes mama I won’t let you down mama.”
“Good make sure you don’t or you will be sorry.”
Shadow awakens to the sound of a stallion’s voice and to the sound of it not a happy one nether.
“YOU LET ANOTHER STALLION STAY IN THE HOUSE? YOU BETTER HOPE I DON’T SLAP, YOU WHORE!”
“Please Flash he was hurt and I had to do something.”
“You better hope he’s not a rainbow factory worker. Because one of them escaped the factory last night anyways so I would hit you if you did.”
The sound of his voice made Shadow trot down fast to see an orange pegasus with his left hoof raised high ready to slap her, Shadow knew when his hoof connects to Twilight's cheek he goes off on him.
“You little slut using other stallions to make you happy, you make me sick bitch.”
The sound echoed through the building he hit her watching the mare fall to the ground Shadow’s wings spread and made him fly to her rescue pushing the stallion through the door causing him to fall to the ground.
“You do not hit mares you fucking prick.”
Shadow grabs him and throws a series of punches across his face Causing Flash to start bleeding on his face everypony gathered around the fight.
“Boys stop fighting please Shadow Flash did not mean it.”
“You do not hit mares you mother fucker, I am gonna kill you.”
“Shadow stop please I know what he did was wrong but hurting him docent make it better.”
Three stallions had to pull the dark blue pegasus off of the stallion Shadow walks back in the library searching for the race changing spell wanting it done right away to protect her from him that whore excuse for a pegasus.
