Soldiers Among Equestria 1.5 Remade
Chapter 3
Previous ChapterCelestia looked at the figure with a shocked expression on its face, while the other one was fainted on the floor. Celestia stood still as if her world around her stalled. She saw the figure turned its head at the cake, its jawed dropped at the huge slice that was cut from the cake. Celestia realized that she still had some cake bits around her mouth. Celestia had three options, call her guards, fight them, or try to talk with them.
On the other hand, Dimitri had the same idea, call his teammates, fight her, or try to talk with her. Dimitri looked at Daemon who was still on the floor, he moved over to him quietly as the white Alicorn watched him. Dimitri picked up the fainted soldier off the floor and placed him on one of the dining chairs.
Dimitri shook Daemon rapidly, “Daemon! Wake up! Wake up!” he panicked.
Daemon did not responded, so Dimitri did something drastic. He went to the fridge and took out a small bucket of cold water and filled it with ice. Then, Dimitri went over to Daemon and dumped the cold water on him.
The intense chill of the water forced Daemon to suddenly wake up. Daemon wrapped himself from the cold water as he began to shiver. Daemon saw Dimitri with a water bucket in his hand, he lunged forward and grabbed Dimitri’s neck in anger.
Daemon shook Dimitri’s neck, “What did you do that for?!” he yelled at him.
Dimitri grabbed Daemon arms and used his strength to pull back his arms, “I was trying to wake you up! Snorlax!” he pulled Daemon arms even further.
Daemon gave Dimitri an annoyed look, “By dumping cold water on me?!” he shouted.
Dimitri grabbed Daemon arms, “What do what me to do!? Sing a lullaby?!” he strained.
Daemon still had his hands around Dimitri’s arms until he decided to let go. Dimitri let out a deep breath, “I can’t believe there’s a magical horse in the base!” he shouted, “Where’s that book you had earlier?!”
Daemon wiped his face with a clean kitchen towel, “Greek Myths? On the table.” he pointed towards the book across the kitchen
Dimitri ran towards the book and began to flip through the pages to the same page that Daemon showed him earlier, but, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
Dimitri turned around and saw Daemon with his right hand open like a waiter, “My fifty dollars please?” he teased.
Dimitri let a sigh, “Come on! Are you kidding me!?” he gasped.
Daemon gave a smirk, “A deals a deal, now pay up!” he smiled as he adjusted his glasses.
Dimitri grumbled to himself as he took out his wallet and gave him a genuine fifty dollar bill.
Daemon grabbed the fifty dollar bill, “Thank you, patronage.” he took out his wallet and placed the money in.
Dimitri felt the fifty bucks left his hand, “I was going to use that to buy a mixer.” He sobbed
Daemon placed his wallet back in his pocket, “Relax, I bet this world has a store where you can buy one.” He calmly spoke.
After Dimitri gave Daemon his fifty dollars, he resumed flipping through the pages. Dimitri could not remember the page number that Daemon showed him. The book was very thick, had very small letters, and had very few pictures. It did not help that Dimitri had terrible eye-sight. Dimitri adjusted his glasses before turned around and saw that the white Alicorn was not there anymore, he shut the book in frustration.
Dimitri slammed the book with his fist very hard that the dining table shook a little, “Sheesh! How do you read this? I feel like I’m in high-school!” he turned towards Daemon, “Never mind! Let’s go after it!” he shouted at Daemon as he dashed out of the kitchen.
Daemon looked at Dimitri for a minute before he grabbed the book and ran after him.
Meanwhile, outside the entrance of the headquarters, the guards started to get bored. They were told by their Princess to guard the outside of the headquarters. Some guards began to feel fatigued, lazy, and some of them snored a bit. However, one recruit guard was still amazed as he looked at the glass windows with metal frames, and the polished stone engraving that said Global Defense International Base No. 671. The recruit raised an eyebrow, he seems to get the idea that they are a defense squad. The recruit looked at the sign for a minute before he walked back towards the two guards who guarded Celestia’s chariot.
The two guards guarding Celestia’s chariot began to feel tense, “Ugh, What’s taking our princess so long?” he grunted.
The other guard began to lay on the ground, “She’s still looking around, it’s a pretty big building.”
The other guard stared back at him, “We should’ve came with her. Who knows what she might encounter.” he snorted.
Suddenly, they heard a loud turbo sound that revved from the garage. All of the guards turned their attention towards the garage, “What was that?!” one of the guards shouted.
“It sounds like something’s growling!” the other guard shouted.
The noise revved up before it released a hissing sound, then, it began to rev up more.
One of guard who guarded the entrance of the building turned towards the guard next to the chariot, “I hear it too, I can hear it hissing!” he stated.
The guards had come to a conclusion, they think that the headquarters has a monster that could threaten Equestria.
The leader of the guards equipped his spear, “Move out! The Princess might be in danger!” he galloped towards the garage.
The other guards followed behind him except for two guards because the leader told them to guard the chariot. The two guards gave out an annoyed sigh and remained in their position with their spears.
Unfortunately, the sound that came from the garage was not a monster that will threaten Equestria. It was Takashi’s car that gave out the noise. Takashi asked Samuel to help him will his imported Japanese car. Samuel would step on the pedal to rev up the engine, while Takashi checked the computer that showed a graph of the performance level. Takashi’s car has more electronic part than all of the other cars in the garage
Takashi enabled the test run on his laptop, “Okay Samuel, step on it nice and easy,” he commanded.
Samuel stomped the pedal gradually as the engine revved up louder, “My gosh Takashi! Did your car come from Cybertron?” Samuel gasped as he saw the neon lights, carbon fiber trimmings, high-definition screen, and the blue-tooth radio.
Takashi adjusted the setting on the laptop, “Nope, but pretty cool eh!? That’s why I love tuners!” he tweaked the turbo charger in place.
Samuel revved the engine more time before he began to get bored, “Are we almost done!? We’ve been doing this for the bloody past hour!”
Takashi picked up another wrench from the toolbox, “Just one more minute I’m almost done!”.
The Skyline engine finally began to roar with energy as the turbo started to take effect. Takashi relished in the sound of his car, he felt like it could take on Samuel’s Porsche and Aaron’s BMW. Takashi wiped the oil on his hands with the towel he picked up, “Okay! It is good to go!” he smiled.
Samuel got off Takashi car, “I’ll be in the kitchen,” he walked towards the exit, “Let me know when you’re done so we have a little showdown.” He smiled evilly
Takashi grinned at Samuel, “The loser buys lunch for everybody for a week!” he stated.
Samuel smirked, “We’ll see about that, techno boy!” he closed the door and turned off the lights except for Takashi area.
Takashi let his tongue out before he grabbed a vacuum cleaner, he plugged it in and began to suck up any dirt in the interior.
Unknowing to Takashi, there were more than five guards inside the garage, they use the same way Celestia got in. Each of them hid behind various vehicles. Some of the guards had no problem because some vehicles were high like the patrol SUV’s, however, some guards laid down because some vehicles were low such as the patrol cars.
One of the guards looked at the figure next to the white box with wheels, “That must be the tamer.” he whispered.
“You think so?” one of the other guards whispered back.
The figure pumped a fist in the air, “With this car! I will be unstoppable!” it shouted, “No one can beat me!”
The guard look at him with a blank expression, “Yep, it’s the tamer.” He whispered
The leader came out of his position he hid from, “Alright then,” he equipped his spear, “Stay here, and wait for my signal.” He whispered.
The leader walked up behind the figure quietly. Once he was behind the figure, he let a snort that showed a sign of warning.
Takashi kept vacuuming the seat until he something snorted behind his neck. Takashi felt the hot breath on the back on of his neck, “Hey! Who’s breathing on my neck!?” he felt a louder snorting behind his neck, “Now you’re being weird! Quit acting like a farm animal!” he shouted.
Suddenly, Takashi heard a very angry voice that made him shiver, “Who are you calling a farm animal? Peasant!?”
Takashi turned around, “Alright! Alright! Take a chill…pill…” he saw a Pegasus covered in gold armor that looked down on him with an irritated face.
The leader showed his bare teeth at the figure, “You dare address me like that?!” he growled as he began to walk forward with his spear in front.
The leader backed the figure until it touched the side of his car. Takashi had to tell the other guys that there are flying horses in their headquarters. However, Takashi could not do anything because he was backed against his car by the leader. Takashi began to panic as he tried to think of a way to escape. To his luck, he saw the vacuum suction tube on the car seat. Takashi looked under the guard and saw the vacuum plugged in.
Without warning, Takashi grabbed the suction tube and shoved the guard’s snout with it. The guard shook and screamed as he felt his snout being harmlessly vacuumed . Takashi screamed in fright as he watched the guard scream in agony. Takashi used this as an opportunity to escape from the garage. Takashi crawled through the driver side of his car and closed the door. The leader called the other guards to help him remove the suction tube. Once of the guards galloped towards the leader and used his hooves to yank out the tube. The leader blew his snout free of any dust and candy bar wrappers.
The leader shook his head and growled, “After him!" ” he roared. The other guards galloped towards the exit.
Takashi ran as fast possible without looking back. Once he got to the lobby section, he quickly closed the entrance door that lead to the garage and barricaded it with furniture. Takashi looked at the door for a minute before it was broken off by more than three spears. Takashi screamed before he quickly ran towards the hallways. The guards heard the footsteps from the hallway, so they began to follow it. Takashi ran like he was trying to escape from prison, he glance behind and saw the guards shadow behind him.
Takashi began to scream like a little girl, “Help! Anybody?!” Unfortunately, no one in the headquarters heard him.
In the hallway, Samuel headed to towards the kitchen to treat himself a snack. When he walked into the kitchen, the first thing he noticed was Dimitri’s cake. Samuel admitted to himself that Dimitri would be a good baker and that he would own his own bakery if he retires. When he went to the refrigerator, he saw the cake had a huge slice. Samuel gave a shocked expression as he saw the huge slice that almost took up one-fourth of the cake.
Samuel walked past the cake, “Someone has a sweet tooth.” He muttered to himself.
Samuel opened the fridge and took out a shepherd’s pie that his older sister made back in London; he took out a knife and cut a slice of the pie. Then, Samuel placed the piece of the pie onto a small plate and placed it in the microwave. Samuel went back to the refrigerator and took out a milk carton; he poured the milk into a glass and closed the refrigerator door. When the pie slice finished cooking, he placed the plate onto the dining table. Samuel took out a fashion designer magazine. He sat on the chair like a gentleman as he opened the magazine and began to look at the pictures.
“Wow…” Samuel arched an eyebrow, “Fashion today sure looks pretty interesting.” he spoke with sarcasm.
Samuel let out a soft sigh before he closed the magazine; he put the magazine back onto the rack and took out a toy magazine. Samuel smiled to himself as he brought the magazine back to the dining table and opened it. Samuel began to relish in the upcoming toys that took him back to his childhood. When Samuel was young, he would ask his parents to take him to the toy store in England. He loved the slot cars, he would buy extra track and extra cars for his friends to race in his house.
Samuel closed his eyes and smiled, “Those were the days.”
All of a sudden, he began to hear screaming from the hallway. Samuel eyes went wide as he lower his magazine. There, he saw the unexpected. Takashi screamed like a little girl as he dashed into the kitchen and began to tackle Samuel. When Takashi bear-hugged Samuel, the chair could not carry the weight of the two soldiers, they began to tip over and fell onto the floor. Samuel had a huge irritated expression as Takashi began shake him violently.
“Samuel!” Takashi shouted, “You were right! There are flying horse in base!” he panicked as he flailed his arms.
Samuel give Takashi an angry stare before he punched his face, “My god Takashi!” he shouted, “Can you go for one day without screaming?!” he pointed a finger on Takashi’s funny formed face.
Takashi shook his head, “There are flying horses! They’re going to skin me alive and use my bones to make a Gundam statue!” he screamed.
Samuel rolled his eyes as he picked up the crumped magazine, “Uh-huh, like I’m going to believe that.” he flicked the magazine from any wrinkles and placed the chair back up.
When Samuel began to sit on the chair, he began to hear sounds that galloped throughout the room as the ground began to shake. Samuel and Takashi looked at each other before they saw three Royal Guards came inside the kitchen. The three guards were equipped with spears and had gold plated helmets. They readied their spears and gave out a battle stance. Takashi and Samuel looked at the guards with horror before they saw the leader who Takashi recognized.
The leader growled at the two soldiers, “Well…Well…Well…look what we have here.”
Takashi jumped on Samuel like a bride carrying a groom. The two soldiers began to scream in fright.
Meanwhile, Aaron and Alejandro were outside of the headquarters entrance. Aaron and Alejandro were told by Samuel to clean the swimming pool of their headquarters because they both messed up his winning streak from the game of darts. Even though they were told to do the chores, they could not help but still laugh from the outcome. Their faces were covered with bruises and several bandages.
“I can’t stop laughing!” Aaron laughed as he collected the dirt into the dustpan.
Alejandro collected about ten leaves with the cleaning net, “It was totally worth it, Aaron!” he rubbed one of the bandages on his face, “But you’re a higher rank than him why did you listened to him?” he asked.
Aaron made a weak smile on his bruised face, “I’ll decided to give him a break, we did ruined his game after all,” he began to give a puzzled expression, “But have you noticed he’s been kind of testy lately?” he asked.
Alejandro placed the cleaning net back into the pool again, “Maybe because no one believes him that they are flying horses in the base?” he picked up the net.
The two soldiers began to laugh out a fit before Aaron decided to go to use the bathroom, “I going to take a leak,” he grinned, “I’ll be right back.”
When Aaron left the swimming pool, he decided to take a shortcut through the entrance to head towards the bathroom. When Aaron arrived at the entrance, he saw something that made his jaw dropped. Right there, in front of Aaron was a golden chariot that was guarded by two Royal Guards. Aaron was so shocked that he immediately forgot about using the bathroom. Aaron ran back towards the swimming to get Alejandro.
At the chariot, the two guards started to get tired. The two got so tired that they decided to sit on the concrete ground.
“I’m bored as buck!” the recruit whined as he let out a huge sigh.
“Quit complaining, we have the easiest job!” The other guard replied before he began to take a nap.
The two guards sat in their position for a couple of minutes before the recruit had enough.
“That’s it!” the recruit picked up its spear, “I can’t stand sitting here, I need to do something!” the recruit got up and galloped towards the garage without warning.
The other guard immediately got up, “Hey!” he shouted, “Get back here recruit!” he galloped after the recruit guard.
When the two guards left towards the garage, the chariot was left unguarded. After a few minutes, Aaron and Alejandro ran towards the chariot.
“I’m telling you! There are flying magical horses!” Aaron stated as he sprinted towards the entrance of the headquarters.
Alejandro was behind Aaron, “Are you sure?” he questioned.
“Yes! I’m sure!” he shouted, “Their right over…there…”
When Aaron saw the chariot, there were no magical horses to be seen. Aaron gave out a dumb look as he witness the chariot that was vacant. Aaron walked around the chariot to look for the horses, only to have Alejandro chucked at him.
Alejandro began to imitate Dimitri’s voice, “Would you like some coffee?” he grinned.
Aaron began to feel a little down, “But they were just here…I swear.” He muttered to himself
Back inside the headquarters, Celestia galloped as fast as she can as Dimitri and Daemon found her. The two soldiers sprinted faster than they could imagine. Celestia made sharp turns every time she met a spilt hallway as she hoped to lose them. Celestia had a hard time maneuvering around the hallways.
Celestia turned her head around, “Leave me alone!” she pleaded.
Celestia’s tone was music one of the figures ears, “Oh my God! It talks too!” the figure spoke in amazement.
“You two are weird!” Celestia shouted back.
One of the figures smiled to himself, “Just like what my sister said to me when I wanted an easy-bake oven when I was five.”
Celestia turned her around and saw the two soldiers gaining up on her. She panicked around and saw a door to her left; she turned her head around and saw the shadows of the two soldiers. Celestia opened the door with her magic and galloped inside the room and shut the door. Celestia placed her left ear on the door and waited until the two soldiers to pass by.
“I saw it went that way!” one of voices shouted, “After it!” the other voice shouted back.
Celestia took a deep breath and began to turn around; she saw that she was back where she started which is the laboratory where Daemon worked on the necklaces. Celestia was amazed at the technology in the room, in fact, she was impressed how clean it is. Celestia looked at the chemicals flanks, the book shelves, and the equipment.
Meanwhile, Daemon, Dimitri, and Evan were at the security room door. Evan was with them because he is the only one that has the key card. Dimitri had to come up with a lie about that had lost his cellphone in the base and he needs the use the security room to find it. Luckily, Evan believes him because he used the security room to find his wallet sometimes. Evan took out the key that had more than fifty key cards attached to it. Evan had his key chain in his left palm and used his right hand to flip through the cards. Because the headquarters has so many electronics and rooms (Thanks to Takashi) he had hard time as he looked through the key cards.
Evan looked at his two teammates with a nervous smile, “Hold on. Just give me a minute.” He looked through the key card chain.
After a couple of minutes, Evan finally found the card to the room. Evan placed the card on the sensor and the door gave out a sound as the light change from red to green. Evan opened the door and walked in, followed by Daemon and Dimitri. The security room displays all of the security cameras in the entire headquarters from the rooms, all the way to the garage. Evan closed the door and the door automatically locked itself. Evan placed the chain on one of the table that was closest to the keyboard.
Daemon sat on the chair and imputed the password, “We should have done this in the first place!” he shouted, “Save ourselves time and energy!” he whined.
Dimitri placed his hand on Daemon’s right shoulder, “Relax Daemon, its good exercise.”
Daemon used the mouse clicked between each monitor that displayed a portion of their headquarters, “Easy for you to say, I’m wearing pants. You’re wearing shorts!”
Daemon spoke so loudly that he did not know that Evan was still here in the room on one of the chairs.
Evan gave them a puzzled face, “What are you guys talking about?”
Daemon realized what he had done, “Nothing, just personal stuff.” He smiled nervously
Evan looked at him with a suspicious look before he read his latest issue of Model Railroading. Evan loved trains when he was young, he would always imagine himself owning a model railroad in the backyard. However, Evan grew up in a condo before he joined the G.D.I, so he really did not have a backyard. But, Evan used the entire condo as layout, except when his parents get mad because there are pieces of tracks all over the place.
Evan was still in his day dream mode, before it was interrupted by Daemon.
“There!” Daemon shouted.
Daemon pointed the monitor where it displayed the research room with the white alicorn.
Evan looked at the monitor, “What the…” he immediate got up the table towards his two teammates, “What in God’s name is that?!” he looked closer at the monitor, “How the heck did that thing get inside my base?!”
Evan’s voice was so loud that he made Daemon and Dimitri freeze in their position. After a couple of minutes, the three soldiers regain their posture and continued to look at the monitor.
In the research room, Celestia was about to leave the room before she saw a notebook that displayed a good amount of data and pictures. Celestia looked around the room one more time before she decided to open the notebook with her magic. As Celestia flipped through the pages, she was amazed as the amount of research and data that was recorded in the notebook. However, she does not know that there is a hidden security camera in the research room.
Evan looked at the monitor, “My God, Samuel was right, there are flying horses,” he spoke in shock, "I gotta apologize to him..." he looked down.
Daemon looked at the screen with amazement, “We got to put this on YouTube!” he stated.
Evan gave Daemon an angry expression on his face, “Are you crazy!” he shouted, “This is classified beyond top secret and you want to put this on YouTube!?”
“Idiot.” Dimitri muttered.
“Shut up.” Daemon replied.
Meanwhile, in the research room, Celestia finished with the notebook, she saw another book what appeared to be a sketch book. When she opened the sketch book, she saw the sketches of the necklaces and the symbols. Celestia let out a huge gasp as she saw the symbols of the necklaces.
Evan looked at the screen, “What’s it looking at?” he asked his two teammates.
Daemon looked at the monitor, “Hey, isn’t that my--“
Before Daemon could finish his statement, the room became really bright as Celestia’s eyes glowed white. Celestia began to remember the tragic incident when her sister became Nightmare Moon and that she had to use the necklaces to banish her to the moon. The room was so bright for the security camera that the soldiers in the security room had to cover their eyes.
Celestia began to have a flashback that took place one-thousand years ago,
“Oh dear sister, I am sorry.” she pleaded, "But you have given me no choice but to use these." She used the Elements of Harmony
The elements released a beam and banished Nightmare Moon along with her sister.
A ghost of her sister appeared in front of her, “Sister!” Luna pleaded, “Please don’t leave me!” the ghost began to fade away into a million particles.
Sadness and horror filled Celestia’s mind so much that she fell on her back legs and leaned on the table. Celestia let out a huge sob as she leaned her head on the metal table. Celestia’s eyes were closed and her hooves on the notebook.
“I’m sorry! Please forgive me Luna!” Celestia wept.
Unknowing to her, the three soldiers all looked at her. Some of them gave a tear.
Dimitri looked at the monitor, “Wow Daemon, your research was enough to make her cry.”
Evan looked at Dimitri with a serious expression, “Dimitri, she was crying about her sister.”
Dimitri began to feel nervous, “I’m just joking captain.” He gave out a weak smile.
Evan gave an angry face, “That’s not funny Dimitri, I have an older sister you know!” He warned.
Suddenly, they heard a voice from the monitor. Evan and Dimitri looked at the monitor where the white alicorn is.
“How do they know…” she growled, “How do they know about this!?” she screamed before she resumed crying.
The tone frightened the two soldiers. It got only worse when Evan noticed the room lacked one soldier, “Where’s Daemon?!” he shouted.
Dimitri looked around the room before he saw the most horrendous thing on the monitor, “Um Evan!” he poked Evan’s shoulder, “You might want to look at the screen.”
When Evan turned his head towards the screen, his jaw almost dropped to the table. The security camera displayed Daemon next to the white alicorn.
