This is my submission for the fifth Flash Fiction event on Equestria Daily.

Twice, Queen Chrysalis has experienced utter defeat, once by the hands of Cadance and once when her plan to possess Twilight Sparkle fell through. Since then, she's been feeling down. However, within this darkness, she ends up finding new strength, and something to smile about, after a visit to her own dungeon.

Note: This story takes place after "The Return of Queen Chrysalis", as seen in issues 1-4 of the official IDW comic.
