I sat uncomfortably in a white conference room by a group of scientists and my teammate Isis lounging lazily. I drew my eyes towards the front of the room, awaiting the speech that brought us here.
“So if you’ll remember,” SCP-239 began “many of you were speaking of there possibly being life on other planets in the lounge room a couple days ago.”
“Wait you heard us?!” A random nerd called out. SCP-343 gave him a smile and a soft chuckle. 239 only looked irritated at the interruption.
“Why of course we did! We are omnipotent remember?” 343 answered with another friendly chuckle. The scientist just shrugged and sat back down. 239 took a deep breath and continued.
“Now as I was saying,” She started with obvious agitation. “343 and I searched and searched and searched and searched and sear-”
“I believe they understand.” 343 smirked. She shot him a mean look and stuck her tongue out.
“AND SEARCHED!” She exclaimed just to spite him. “For other life.” She smiled innocently. There was a long awkward pause.
“...And?” The same scientist asked curiously. 343 beamed.
“We found some!” She exclaimed happily jumping up and down. Two scientists just dropped their mugs a gaped, not even acknowledging the scalding coffee on their feet and legs. The others just stared, dumbstruck.
“Are...Are you serious!?” The same scientist, who I guessed to be the head scientist, asked.
“Yepperoni! And I’ve even came up for a first contact plan!” She twirled. At hearing this one of the scientists stopped being stupefied and sobered up.
“Really? What are the extraterrestrials like?” She inquired. 343 smirked and answered.
“Just like 343 and me!” Her brow furrowed at her next words. “But, weaker...” She sighed wistfully. The previous scientist cocked her head in confusion.
“What do you mean “weaker”?” She asked intrigued by 239’s choice of words.
The child’s face became dark as she shed her child-like persona for a stronger, darker, and grim one. “Their powers are weaker, their minds are weaker, and their bodies are too.” She shook her head in disappointment and chuckled darkly. “A single MTF squad could overtake a “city”.” She air-quoted. “Pff, if you could even call them that...” The female scientist was now even more intrigued.
“What do you mean?” 239 looked at her with a smug smirk.
“Their “cities” are only a few thousand strong. Also, their “strongest” being apparently lifts their Sun. A small feat compared to those that create stars thousands of times larger than that.” The other scientists shrugged as they saw her point.
“What’s their culture like?” The head scientist asked. 239 grimaced.
“Completely peaceful, everything is controlled, even the weather. I don’t even think they know what war is!” I blanched and almost threw up. 239 gained a mischievous smirk and looked straight at me. “And I know just who to send!” Her finger swirled around the room landing on random people.
‘Nonononononononononononononononononononono-’
Her finger landed on me. ‘Goddamnit.’ 343 Burst out laughing.
“Cain!” She beamed innocently.
“Not just no, but hell no.” 343 looked at me with mirth.
“Careful what you wish for, boy.” He said twirling his fingers. “Because, it can always be arranged.” I stiffened and blanched but finally gave in.
“Fine. But don’t expect me to like it.” 239 giggled.
“Of course not silly! Now, go prepare for prepping.” She waved me off. I was confused. I narrowed my eyes at her.
“What prepping?” She ignored me and waved her hands. I felt a sinking feeling in my gut and found myself in an operating room. Shackled to a bed. “W-what!?” A doctor walked from around a corner. I grimaced “What do you want Klein?”
“Relaaax Cain. It’ll be over before you know it!” He said pulling out a syringe. I eyed it with distrust.
“And what, pray tell, is that?” I demanded.
“A sample of SCP-910.” He answered calmly. “Trust me you’ll like it.” My eyes widened in disbelief.
“The Immortality Serum!?!” He chuckled.
“The one and only.” And with that the needle entered my skin and the plunger was depressed. Nothing happened.
“How dissapointing...” Doctor Klein looked at me with amusement.
“Oh, that was morphine and a sedative mix.” My eyes widened before they became heavy, and I faded off into sleep...
“Huh!?” I awoke with a start. Dr.Klein was standing next to me holding a pouch and a clipboard.
“Welcome back to the world of the living.” He said jokingly.
“Wh-what happened?” I asked groggily. Klein had looked up from a clipboard.
“Ah, yes I had you put to sleep so we could send you through a magically altered SCP-212.”
“Okay, what did it do?” I asked curiously. Klein smiled.
“Well for starters your eyes are red.” I cocked my head.
“Red?” Klein nodded.
“Yep. Red. You should be able to see souls and life-forces apparently. And it added spell conduits like 249’s all throughout your body.” I was surprised.
“Really? And what spells do I have access to?” Klein consulted his clipboard again and nodded.
“Basic to intermediate pyrokinetics, dark magic, and smoke manipulation for now.” I was honestly surprised. I eyed the pouch.
“What’s in the bag?” Klein tossed it to me
“Various SCPs sent through 914.” He answered. “SCP-154, SCP-714, a twenty-five count bottle of SCP-500 pills, SCP-1326 and it’s key, SCP-005, and SCP-109.” I eyed the small coin pouch with disbelief.
“And all of it fit in here?” Klein nodded.
“Yep. Product of the research we put into SCP-106’s pocket dimension. That bag has it’s own.” I shrugged, and started putting on the ring and bracelets.
“Alright. When am I leaving.” SCP-343 walked into the room. He looked at me with a shit-eating grin.
“Right about...Now!” He snapped his fingers as I felt another sinking feeling in my stomach. I reappeared several hundred feet above a castle set into a wall. ‘Damnit!’ I looked to the side and saw my vessel falling towards a countryside town.
“Tsk!” I said in anger. “Damn magicians and their magic...” I cursed. I looked back down to see one of the windows dangerously close. I curled up and braced for impact.
I sat on my golden throne, as bored as one could be. Another noble stepped forward, getting into a rant about how a family of farmers wouldn’t give up their hard earned land. I looked to my side to notice the blue empty throne. ‘Oh, how I wish something exciting would just fall out of the sky...’ Suddenly, one of my windows exploded as a black caped figure in white boots flew through my window. She looked at him he had long black hair, bronze skin, and red tattoos. His eyes met mine and they became a menacing red before reverting to a steely unforgiving grey. I shivered. He reached into a small coin pouch and brought out a note. He grimaced and looked up at me.
His brow furrowed and he narrowed his eyes at me. “Are you the one they call Princess Celestia?” I nodded solemnly. His eyes softened a bit but were in no way soft. “Greetings. My name is Able.
