The Chaos of Legends

     They were everywhere, yet there were only 21 of them. Twenty-one huge destructive creatures. It was total chaos. Buildings exploded and burned. It stormed in some places and there were heat waves in others. Beams of lightning, ice, and fire flew in every direction. A few seemed to try to reason with the others, but they continued to battle as if they weren't there at all. One was battling with what seemed to be a vague clone of itself. Princess Twilight Spark lay in the midst of destruction and chaos. A stray beam of fire blew up the ground next to her, sending her flying. The rest of the Mane Six stayed behind in Canterlot, the only city with a protection spell. Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor combined their magic to make the Crystal Empire vanish, but stay in touch with Equestria through spells.

     Twilight stayed behind in Ponyville to rescue survivors. One of the creature flew down to her. It looked like a cross between a large fish and a bird. "It'll be ok," it said in a calming voice. That's strange, Twilight thought, It's mouth didn't move when it said that. "Ho-oh," it said, "Come with us". A large, multi-colored bird flew next to the other creature. "Climb on" said the other creature. Twilight on the back of the creature, and then it and "Ho-oh" took off. "Where do you live?" asked the creature. "Canterlot castle" Twilight responded. "It's the city on the cliff. You should be able to find the castle". The creature just nodded.

     When they arrived, Twilight used the rest of her strength to open a hole in the force field guarding the royal city. The guards prepared for battle the minute they saw the creatures, but realizing they were escorting a princess, they dispersed. When they landed at the castle, Princesses Celestia and Luna greeted them, as well as the rest of the Mane Six. Twilight stumbled off the creature. She was then rushed off the medical ward, but not before saying that they saved her life, just to suppress any suspicions that the kidnaped her just to get in the city. "We are very grateful that you rescued Twilight, but, who are you, exactly?" Celestia asked. "I am Lugia, and this is Ho-oh, and in case you're wondering, we talk through telepathy," The creature responded. "Well, hello Ho-oh and Lugia. May we ask you a few questions?" Luna asked. "Sure," replied both Ho-oh and Lugia. "First off, who are those creatures?" asked the princesses. "Those are creatures are called pokémon. They, along with us, come from another world. The creatures here are legendary pokémon, pokémon that are far more powerful and unique from the rest of the pokémon. I'm confused as to why only us legendaries ended up in your world, and as to why we're here at all," Lugia responded. "Ok, question two, is there anyway  to defeat, return, or restrain the pokémon?" asked Celestia. "Yes, but it will use up an immense amount of power," responded Ho-oh. "Anything for our people," replied the princesses.
