This is an old and short story, and it´s real. I will not mention my name, but i can refer myself like "the followed".
That happened in the forest, that happened to me. Something followed me that day, but is about to you in reading the rest. You can decide if believe or not, but one thing is true: not believing in "the follower", will not keep you safe from him.
