As Queen Chrysalis reflects on her failure at the Canterlot Wedding, being forced back to their wasteland. She wonders around and finds a pony named Terra who approaches her. Unlike most ponies, Terra is not afraid of Queen Chrysalis and treats her like royalty, which is more than her own subjects actually do themselves. The Queen discovers that Terra has no home or family and realizes this gives her a perfect opportunity to hatch a devious scheme that may get her back to full strength.
