Chapters Pinkie bakes some brownies
C'mon, Dashie, that last prank was pretty funny," Pinkie Pie giggled.
Rainbow Dash sighed, "Yeah, but we already moved Rarity's ponykins last week."
"But what about Twilight's disappearing ink?" Pinkie suggested as she collapsed in another fit of laughter.
"But we do that every time!" Dash complained, pulling at her face. "And I'm so bored!"
"Hmm," Pinkie said thoughtfully. "Well, how about we prank-"
Whatever Pinkie Pie had been about to say next was cut off as the door to Sugarcube Corner opened and in walked a small, exhausted dragon.
"Welcome to SugarCube Corner!" Pinkie exclaimed, as she bounced behind the counter. " Hiya Spike! How are you doing today?".
"Hey Pinkie," Spike said as he walked up to the counter."I'm doing good, how about you?"
"I'm doing great, Spike. Me and Dashie are just-" while she was saying this Rainbow motioned for her to not tell Spike about the pranks. Pinkie noticed this and arched an eyebrow before remembering that they were thinking of pranks. Pinkies mood seemed to grow ever-happier as she continued speaking."-having lunch. What brings you here on this fine day?"
"Twilight gave me my allowance early this week so I decided to get a snack". He actually found some bits on the ground that twilight was experimenting on and stole them. Twilight then spent the next hour looking for her money as it was part of the funds to fix the window that at this point was shattered by a tree branch. Fucking tree library.
"That's super duper Spike, so what do you want?" Pinkie said as she motioned towards the overhead menu above her. "You can have cupcakes, plain old regular cakes, muffins, or bagels ".
"Wait, bagels?" Spike asked. Pinkie nodded. "Never mind, anyways those all sound good Pinkie, but I came here to try your brownies" he said. Spike then had a deep internal debate as to why a bakery would sell bagels when there was a Starbucks next door.
"Okie dokie Spike, they will be done in about ten minutes" Pinkie said as she bound into the kitchen. "I wonder what Dashie was talking about?" Pinkie mumbled so quietly that only she and the bacteria living in her horse mouth could hear.
"Hey Spike, hows it going?" Rainbow finally said as Pinkie left. I wonder if he even knows I was here. She thought to herself.
"Oh, hey Rainbow, I didn't see you there. I'm doing great, Twilight gave me my-"
"Jerk..." Rainbow murmured. "Yeah, yeah I heard it already. Hey, can you do me a favor?" Rainbow said a little hastily.
"Sure, what do you want me to do" he said. Wait, is she nervous? he thought.
"Just watch our food while I go talk to Pinkie." Rainbow said as she flew into the kitchen.
Pinkie was bouncing around the bakery's kitchen collecting the ingredients for the brownies and singing about cupcakes for no particular reason when Rainbow burst through the door and crashed into a wall. Pinkie stop what she was doing and looked over to Rainbow giggling the whole time.Normal ponies would have checked to see if she was alright but Pinkie knew better. Just last week she had crashed into a brick wall and came out unscathed. Rainbow got off the ground and rushed over to Pinkie.
"Yo Pinks, I just got an awesome idea for a great prank!" Rainbow exclaimed. Finally something to get me out of this boring rut I'm in. She thought.
"Tell me, tell me, tell me Dashie!" Pinkie asked.
"Well, you know how spike just ordered some brownies?" Pinkie nodded "Yeah, so I have some special brownies at my house we can give him instead.".
"What special brownies Dashie"? Rainbow gave her a blank stare. "Oh, ooh those special brownies. Are you sure?" Rainbow nodded "Okie dokie lokie". "This is going to be good" Pinkie whispered. Some people believe her smile grew three sizes that day but that's just fucking stupid. It would have probably broken her jaw and given her a smile the Joker would have applauded.
"Thanks, Pinks. I'll be back." Rainbow said in a deep voice that Pinkie swore she heard in a movie before. Dash flew out SugarCube Corners back entrance as to not alert spike that she was leaving.
Rainbow zoomed over ponyville at astonishing speeds. She was hoping that if she went fast enough no one would see her. Luckily, she wasn't seen on her way to her home in the sky. She unlocked her door and flew her bedroom on the second floor of her home and trotted up to her dresser. She noticed the framed picture of her and her mood grew even greater as she stared at the picture. "Soon..." she whispered as she put the picture back on top of the dresser. She then opened the third drawer and grabbed the lunchbox from under the box labeled 'toys' and closed the drawer and left her home, locked the door on the way out. She then raced back over to SugarCube Corner and silently went through the back entrance. She then walked back into the kitchen where Pinkie was waiting.
Rainbow took a second to breath and opened the lunchbox while Pinkie bound up to her and stated. "Okay Pinks, I've got the brownies from my house". Rainbow stopped talking as Pinkie tried to grab one of the brownies and eat it. "No, bad Pinkie."
"Aww...please?" Pinkie pouted and gave her puppy dog eyes but it was to no avail.
"Fine." Pinkie said as a smile slowly began to spread on her face. "Let's go give Spike his brownies before he gets suspicious." Pinkie then trotted out of the kitchen and back behind the counter with Rainbow in tow."Here you are Spike, I made them extra super duper special just for you" Pinkie exclaimed as she bagged the brownies and handed them to Spike.
"Thanks Pinkie". Spike then proceeded to scarf down one of the brownies."Wow Pinkie, these taste great"Spike said as he finished the last of the brownies and walked over to the trash and threw his garbage away and walked back up to the counter."So what do I owe you Pinkie"?
"Consider it on the house for my favorite little dragon Spikey. Just please don't tell Mr. and Mrs. Cake about it." Pinkie replied with a hint of nervousness in her voice.Spike either didn't notice it or was too overjoyed to care.
"Wow, thanks a bunch Pinkie!" Spike said as he sat down on one of the chairs the shop had to offer. The brownies were starting to kick in but Spike just thought it was a dizziness. It was only till the hallucinations started that spike noticed something was wrong.He tried to say he wasn't feeling too great but all that came out was a bunch of incomprehensible stutters. It wouldn't have mattered anyway seeing as he was starting to feel good and relaxed. Not fifteen minutes later Spike was completely baked.

Pinkie and Rainbow waited fifteen more minute before trotting over to Spike, who at that point was just staring blankly at a wall and smiling.
"Hay Spike, you alright?" Rainbow asked as Spike burst out laughing. Pinkie then proceeded to join in the giggle fit. "Pinkie, what the hay are you doing?" Rainbow said with her eyebrows raised. What was so funny that both Spike and Pinkie burst out laughing she thought. Do I have something in my teeth?
"Sorry Dashie," Pinkie said, as she got up from the bakery floor. "It just looked like fun!" Pinkie said in between giggles. Pinkie put on a more serious face. "What do we do now?" she said as she pointed to spike, who at this point thought his hands were the most interesting thing in all of existence. Spike then walked into the kitchen unnoticed.
"I dunno, how about-" Rainbow was cut off when they heard a crash from the kitchen.They rushed over to it to find Spike shoveling raw eggs and muffins into his mouth like he was going to die unless he put on some weight in the next five minutes. Spike then proceeded to start hiccuping and accidentally sent a chair to Celestia. It was a fine, high quality chair, the only one of its kind. Needless to say, it was an exceptional chair and now it was gone. He then tried to go outside but Rainbow ,who by at this point noticed that this as a bad idea,stopped him. She had almost got him when he hiccuped and sent part of Rainbows mane away. He then proceeded to run around the bakery like a child and tripped over a very agitated Rainbow Dash.
He was bouncing around the bakery without control while Rainbow threw one hell of a hissy fit. But she kept on trying to catch him anyway, mainly because she wanted to teach him a lesson about why you don't buck with Rainbow Dash. All of the sudden, Spike stopped running and Rainbow got into a collision with him and threw both of them into Pinkie, who had, during the whole chase scene, made popcorn and found a recliner to sit on. The picked Spike up and dragged his purple ass up the stairs towards pinkies room.
They went in and locked all thirty seven locks on Pinkie door and tied Spike up with some rope Rainbow found near a hefty collection of knifes and a pink chainsaw. Rainbow then trotted up to Pinkies full body mirror and looked herself over. She then noticed the black coloration in her main and the finely burnt hair and was about to scream when Pinkie spoke up.
"I like your new mane style Dashie, It just screams burnt by a dragon". In all honesty, she really did like it. She thought it looked a lot less lesbian now. " It reminds me of that one time I lit you on fire to see what would happen" Pinkie said. "But you didn't like it very much, or I think you didn't like it, you didn't get a chance to tell me." Pinkie then noticed Rainbows horrified look and asked "What, did I say something I shouldn't have?"
" Um Pinkie, I don't think that happened. I mean, that is just plain creepy Pinks. I don't think I can just classify that as you being random." She said as she looked at Pinkie through scared and confused eyes.
" But that did happen." Pinkie exclaimed. " It"s just now canon in our universe. It's in alternative universe number one thousand one hundred and thirty four." Rainbow expression changed from horrified to completely confused and was about to say so when Spike belched out a letter.
The duo slowly trotted over to where the letter fell and Rainbow picked it up. She unfolded it and read it aloud. "Dear My most faithful student Twilght Sparkle, tell Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash I said thanks for the very nice chair and that they should move everything they don't want sent to me away from Spike. I also wanted to congratulate you on getting the final hair sample for the clones. I will send them to you shortly. Your loving teacher,Princess Celestia."
Pinkie and Rainbow stared at the note in silence for a couple of minutes before setting it down and speaking at the same time. " Well, that was weird." and "That sounds awesome."(Guess which one said which). Then they both said: " Wait, what? ... Never mind." They stopped talking and walked over to Spike, who had sent part of the rope away. Then Pinkie Trotted to her closet and started grabbing stuff and throwing them on her bed.
" Hey Dashie, Can you give me a hand with my knife collection?" Rainbow trotted over to the closet and started picking up random knifes and syringes and put them on Pinkies bed.
"Yo Pinks, What all this for exactly? she asked. "Celestia, I hope you didn't murder somepony with these..." She said half jokingly. Pinkie gave her a shit eating grin and said.
"Their not for murdering ponies silly. I sometimes use them when I make cupcakes and sew though. I don't think ponies would smile at being killed!" she proclaimed as she pushed her party cannon over to the bed. She then accidentally started the cannon and it fired directly at spike. Spike the opened his mouth outrageously wide and consumed the entire blast as it hit him. Even Pinkie, who's done that on several occasions, mouth dropped. I t was kinda creepy to think that spike could possibly bite a pony in two and that his mouth was big enough to consume it whole.
The blast had broken the last of spikes ropes of and he stood up. He looked the two ponys over and jumped out of Pinkies still closed window, Shattering it in too a fine dust. Rainbow sighed a she started to give chase. Pinkie grabbed a dress that had several cutiemarks on it and hide it under the pile of weapons. Also in the pile was the chainsaw, a hat with numbered tickets in it, a showgirl outfit, a box labeled 'Party Favors', and a framed picture of Rainbow Dash. Pinkie picked up the picture and put on a menacing grin and whispered "Soon." She then put the started laughing evilly and put the picture back in the pile before joining the chase.

By the time Pinkie had gotten down the stairs and out the back door of Sugar Cube Corner, Spike was already two blocks away and heading straight for market square. What was worse was that it was rush hour and the market was packed. Ponies were going about their daily business as usual. Derpy was delivering mail, Lyra and Bon-Bon were sitting on their bench, time turner was standing by a blue phonebooth eyeing everypony suspiciously and holding some kind of stick with a blue top, and one could here the distant sound of wubstep.
Pinkie started chasing after Rainbow and Spike, the former somehow covered in mayonnaise,when she was stopped by a speeding wagon attached to a scooter and carrying three screaming fillies. Pinkie, concerned for the general well being of the girls, trotted over to the crash site and checked to see if they were okay.
"Hey, you girls okay?" Pinkie asked to the pile of fillies, who were crawling out of the wreckage.
"Huh, oh, hi Pinkie. Yeah we're fine, can't say the same for my scooter though." Scootaloo said in a slightly saddened voice."It's all Sweetie Belles' fault, if she hadn't distracted me I wouldn't have hit that that rock." Scootaloo stated. Throwing glares at Sweetie Belle and the rock in question. "Dumb rock." she grumbled.
"Hey, I only wanted to show you that Rainbow Dash was covered in mayonnaise and chasing Spike for some reason!" Sweetie Belle defended, her voice getting squeaky from agitation. "I figured you would want to know that seeing as you're in love with Rainbow!" Sweetie proclaimed, albeit a little too load, and several ponies turn their heads to see what was going on, but upon seeing Pinkie and the Cutie Mark Crusaders they decided to leave it alone and return to what they were doing.
"I don't love her!" Scootaloo said hastily, a slight blush spread across her face.
"Oh, really?" Sweetie Belle questioned."What about all the times you gush over her like Spike does with Rarity or the shrine you have in your room with all the pictures of you and Rainbow with tiny hearts around them? I mean really, it's pretty obivious with the way you look at her!" Sweetie stated matter o'factly.
Scootaloo, whose blush was growing bigger by the second, trotted over to Sweetie Belle and was about to do something she would later regret, but was luckily stoped by Applebloom, who had heard enough and decided to put and end to the argument, finally butted in.
"Will yall stop yer arguin, this isn't the time and place fer it!' Applebloom stated, her voice full of reasoning and authority."Yall are causin more of a ruckus than a tornado full of sharks!"
Now, as soon as the argument started, Pinkie had pulled a lawn chair into existence and made some popcorn. After getting comfortable, she watched the arguing in silence, occasionally refilling her popcorn and replacing one lawn chair withone that could support the weight of the bouncy pony. She continued watching until Applebloom stepped in. Seeing as the argument was coming to a close Pinkie threw away her remaining popcorn and elbow dropped the lawn chair out of existence. Once she was done she finally joined the conversation.
"Oh, girls!" Pinkie said, slightly giggling at the abnormal argument that had just unfolded. In front of her. A sudden realization then struck Pinkie and she started frantically searching for any sign of Rainbow or Spike, mumbling cries of worry and desperation. Applebloom, senseing something was wrong, trotted over to Pinkie and put a reassuring hoof on her shoulder. Pinkie then stopped searching and sat down with Applebloom. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo then decided to continue their argument later and sat down with Pinkie and Applebloom.
"Pinkie, what's troubling ya? Did something happen?" Applebloom asked with genuine worry.
"Well, I was with Dashie chasing Spike when you three crashed and I sort of got distracted. Now I don't know where they went and something bad could have happened. They could have died in a burning orphanage or got baked into cupcakes or gotten ponynapped or worst of all, having fun without me!" Pinkie exclaimed, her mane straightening itself slightly for her sadness.
"Wait," Sweetie queried "why were you and Rainbow chasing after Spike in the first place?"
"He's high and me and Dashie were watching him so he wouldn't do anything..." Pinkie then realized her slip and decided to just go with it "stupid." The Cutie Mark Crusaders looked at each other before turning back to Pinkie and shrugged.
"Makes sense.You now what he took?" Scootaloo asked.
"Nothing much, just about a half dozen pot brownies. It was really funny actually!" Pinkie stated, her usual bubbly attitude quickly coming back along with her mane returning to its naturally crazy look.
"Oh, you know where he got them?" Sweetie Belle asked, with a hint of nervousness in her voice.
"Yesiree, wait, why do you want to know?" Pinkie questioned, suspicion building up in her mind.
"I ... I mean we ... we just wanted..." Sensing no easy way out, Sweetie Belle tried the first thing she could think of."Hey, look over there. A distraction!" Sensing it was time to leave, the Cutie Mark Crusaders turned around and trotted out of sight as Pinkie turned around, wondering how that even worked.
"What am I supposed to be looking at?" Pinkie said, turning back towards the girls, who were nowhere to be seen."Huh, they must have bolted. Ah well" Pinkie then began to search for any sign of Rainbow and Spike again, asking ponies if they had seen where the duo had gone. She was about to stop looking when Spike ran behind her, cowering in fear.
"There you are Spike, I've been..." Pinkie was cut off by the sound of Twilight screaming obscenitys at Rainbow, who was running straight towards pinkie.
"RUN!" Rainbow yelled, grabing Spike with her hoofs and flying past Pinkie, who was completely confused, but decided not to question it and just run. After all, last time she got in the way of Angry Twilight she ended up with gum and putty melted into her mane.
"How mad is she?" Pinkie asked with more than a bit of worry in her voice.
"You remember how long it took you to get that stuff out of your mane last time?" Rainbow replied.
"Yesiree, it took three weeks." Pinkie said with a huff.
"Well you might not get it out for a couple of years." Rainbow said all the while picking up speed.
"Twitchie-twitch!" was the only thing Rainbow heard, which made her speed up even more and she ended up going into a sonic rainboom. Spike flailing because of the added speed ended up puking. "Well there goes the last of you're lunch." Rainbow said slightly annoyed, her mane now covered in miscellaneous Sugar Cube Corners sweets, but more worried about her pursuer so she let it go at that.

Meanwhile, back in Rainbows perspective...
... Rainbow was hot on the tail of on spike the dragon, assistant of Princess Twilight Sparkle, and all around mellow guy, extremely so today. As Rainbow and Pinkie had pulled a massive prank on him, which involved some lies, flying, destruction, and brownies. What proceeded was some of the funniest things Rainbow and Pinkie had seen in weeks, along with some creepy moments and the demise of a high quality mahogany chair. This cycle went on for quite some time , nut slowly and surely, things slowed down to a halt.But all good things must end eventually, as soon afterwards, spike escaped his confinement in Sugar Cube Corner, and ran from the scene, breaking a window with his body in the process. He then went into a gallop towards the bust city streets and market. Pinkie and Rainbow gave chase and were soon in hot pursuit of their Draconian companion turned adversary .During the early moments of the chase, Pinkie had got distracted by a gaggle of fillies called the cutie mark crusaders, and was unable to continue the pursuit. So Rainbow single handily had to continue the chase through the busy city streets.
The chase was bringing them straight towards to the Apple families stall, Where Big Macintosh was unloading apples and apple related consumables onto the stall. He had just picked up a case of fizzie apple cider when Spike walked up to him. He and Spike locked eyes. They just stood there, staring at each other for a few minutes, eyes not moving away from the others. It was enough time for rainbow to sneak up to Spike, but right as she was about to grab him, he jumped towards Big Mac and the cider, hunger and determination in his eyes an his mouth slightly foaming.
Big Mac decided he wasn't going to deal with this today and dropped the case of cider on the ground and left, muttering several "nopes" along the way. Spike then ran up to the dropped case of cider and began drinking them like a dog who had not had water for several days.
Rainbow saw this as a good time as any to catch Spike and burst into the air, hoping to catch him by surprise and take to the sky, ending his rampage for good. When she deemed that she was high enough, she dashed downward towards Spike, who was finishing off the last of the Cider and getting up. She reached out her hoofs to grab him, but the time of opportunity had pasted.
By some stroke of luck, Spike had choose that exact moment to trip and fall over, Causing Rainbow to miss her mark and collide with the neighboring condiment stall. covering herself in mayonnaise. Spike proceeded to get up and run towards Carousal Boutique, giggling like a child. Rainbow barely saw this and quickly got herself out of the rubble that had once been a stall and was about to continue the chase when she was stopped by a very disgruntled stall owner. After a few choice words were given and some apologys were had, she wiped some of the mayonnaise of her face and continued the chase once again, going faster than normal to make up for lost time.
Rainbow speed towards Spikie, hoping to spare themselves some humiliation, but was to late. Rarity just so happened to be outside the boutique and saw Spike and Thought 'Muh ha ha, hey look it's loverboy. I might as well have him clean my boutique for me while he's around.'
Spike, completely oblivious to everything but Rarity, walked right up to her and stared, giggling softly. Theirs eyes met and Rarity immediately knew what was wrong with Spike. 'Great' she thought ' he managed to get himself stoned. Ha, funny seeing as he likes gems, but still, what good can he do for me in his current state. I could possibly use him as a Ponyquin, seeing as he's just perfectly fine standing there anyway. ... Yeah that should do.'
"Why hello Spiky Wikey, how are you doing today darling" Rarity asked, knowing full well that a coherent answer probably wasn't coming. The answer she did get, however, was in the form of Rainbow Dash, who was still partially covered in mayonnaise, as some had falling of during the trip to the boutique.
"Oh, why hello Rainbow, what brings you here. I was just asking Spikey Wikey a question" Rarity said, turning towards Rainbow with a shit-eating grin, know the question was a hard one to answer given the circumstances.
"I ... um ... Spike challenged me to a race and you know i can't resist a challenge, even though the race was going to be pretty one sided" Rainbow said, her voice hoarse from the chase that had just suddenly stopped again. "But, during the race, if you can even call it that, Spike started acting weird and i thought he might be sick, so i confronted him about it, but he outright rejected the idea and ran over here." Rainbow said, looking around slightly.
"I see" Rarity said matter of factly, in a tone that was the very image of sarcasm. "And you wouldn't happen to know what happened to him, now would you Rainbow?" Rarity questioned.
" No, i don't have any idea what is wrong with him, have you seen anything like this before?" Rainbow asked,hoping that Rarity didn't know what was wrong with him and know of her involvement in the incident.
"Why yes I have Rainbow and yes I do know what is wrong with Spikey Wikey and if you hurt on little scale on his cute little head I ... will ... end ... you!" Rarity threatened, not because she cared about his wellbeing, but because she didn't want To lose her one and only willing slave.
"Ok, gess Rarity, I'll make sure he home safe and sound at Twilight's right away" Rainbow said, genuinely scared of what Rarity would do to her in the event of Spike getting hurt because of her neglect.
"No, wait" Rarity said hastily, and was about to continue, but Spike , who had been stuck in his trance until this point, decide to go up behind Rarity, unbeknownst to , and bite down on Rarity's flank. Rarity then proceeded to let out a very unladylike scream, not only of surprise and terror, but also for some reason pleasure.
Spike, in his trance, saw this as a sign to bite down harder, accidently drawing blood. Rarity's unintentional pleasure was quickly overcome by pain, as her fluffy, marshmallow-like flank was pierced by Spike fine, Draconian fangs, granted it wasn't very deep of a puncture. It was however, directly above her cutie mark and the sudden pain caused rarity to start thrashing like an enraged bull, but it was to no avail, as Rarity had tripped and fell on her face, Spike still attached.
Rainbow, seeing this, decides to try and forcibly remove Spike from Rarity by way of pulling, but it wasn't working, because Spike had somehow managed to clamp himself onto Rarity much like a leach, both in the sense of incredible suction and sucking blood, but Rainbow wasn't going to give up so easily.
Rainbow grunted and dug her back hoofs into the hardened soil and pulled with all her might, using her wings for added power by way of flapping, and finally managed to free Rarity of Spike maw, along with one of the diamonds that made up her cutie mark. At first Rarity was relieved to have Spike off of her, but then she noticed her ruined cutie mark and fainted. Luckily, Rarity's thrashings had brought the group to the rear of the Boutique, so nopony saw the event that had just unfolded, besides the three of them who had witnessed the situation first hand.
Rainbow, after putting Rarity in her bed inside the boutique, went to the rear of the boutique, and wanting to leave the scene as soon as possible, grabbed Spike from where he was standing and immediately flew upwards, preventing Spike to escape her grasp for good. Once she was out of site from the citizens of Ponyville, she landed on the top of a wondering cloud and thought out her plan of what she would do. She was sitting there forquite some time, constantly keeping her eyes on Spike and thinking about the situation at hand, until she suddenly had an epiphany and quickly picked up Spike and flew towards Ponyville.

Sorry this took me a while i had to split this chapter in half because it was getting too long and it changed perspectives about half way through.
Also, sorry if i offended anyone, its just i hate Rarity with a passion.

Once Rainbow had gotten in close proximity to the Books and Branches library she landed and knocked on the door, spike still firmly in her grasp.
"Huh" Twilight said to herself, confused as to why someone would be knocking when the library was public and pony's could just walk in.Twilight, after a moment of thought and more knocking, disregarded the idea and finally acknowledged the knocking and responded with a quick "just a minute". She then got of from her seat and walked up the stairs to her room and up to a full body mirror. After putting her mane into a more presentable fashion, she walked back down and went to the door.
"Welcome to the Book and Branches Library" Twilight stated as she opened the door, as was her usual way of greeting a potential patron to her library, that is, until she got a better look at the pony in question. "Oh, hello Rainbow, what brings you here today, the new daring due doesn't come out until Friday"then twilight looked beside Rainbow to see Spike creating a bonfire of lawn flamingos and immediately knew something was wrong.
Twilight, with much haste, pulled Rainbow and Spike into the library with her magic and quickly locked the doors and closed all the windows and then lead the two to the main lobby. She then forced rainbow down with her magic and began interrogating her "what happened to spike?" she asked not as much accusatory as worried, after all, even with the vast knowledge that the library and by extension her mind had, she had no clue what was wrong with her number one assistant, much like the poison oak incident, and that, to be completely honest, scared her. While she was waiting for a response, she began gathering up medical books and quickly sifting through them, looking for anything that could even possibly be the cause of Spike illness.After much looking and nary a answer from Rainbow, she let out an exasperated sigh and waited for the answer to the question she had asked, glaring all the while her anger growing by the minute, as well as her desperation.
"Well" she said, not amused by the silence from one Rainbow Dash.
"I ... uh ... I have no idea twilight, it must have been something he ate"she said, barely holding in a snicker.
Twilight, not pleased with her reply, grabbed Spike as he was eating the complete guide to pickles:volume seven and then went into the basement of the Library, Rainbow following close behind. Once they had gotten down the stairs, she cast a light spell and set spike down and began looking through her science equipment and machines.
Once she had found the machine she had wanted, she pulled it out into the open and started it up with a blast from her horn, she then walked over to where Spike was, currently occupied with flicking the light switches on and off, and gently grabbed him and placed him in the seat that was connected to the machine and strapped him in, making his escape futile, with all he straps and metal clamps holing him down.Meanwhile, Rainbow walked over to twilight and took a seat.
"Hey Twilight, whats with all he fancy science stuff. I mean shouldn't you put Spike to bed of something if hes sick?" she asked, nonchalantly rubbing the back of her neck with one of her hoofs.
"Im glad you asked Rainbow" Twilight said as she placed a cylinder like metal helmet, complete with all sorts of wires running down and around it, on Spikes head and continued, her voice very methodical and sciency."This" she motioned the machine with one of her hoofs"is a simple hart monitor combined with a molecular transfuser use to find any and all abnormality's in a subject on a atomic level.It then eradicate any bacteria and organisms not normally found in a pony that can be potentially dangerous. It also nullifys the effects of any drug that has entered a ponys bloodstream almost instantaneously. To put it in layponys terms, it finds the problem and beats the crud out of it. it really is a marvel of technology that i am proud to have in my collection of" she was about to continue her brain numbing lecture, until Rainbow interrupted her.
"NEEEEERRD"Rainbow proclaimed, wearing a confused look on her face that was hiding the look of horror she had from twilight.
Twilight facehoofed and turned towards the machine, building up a charge of magic needed to power the machine. She then turned back to Rainbow as the charge would take a few minutes.
"So"she started, taking on a more serious tone of voice. "How did you find Spike?"
"Well, I was out practicing some of my tricks when I heard rarity screaming so I rushed over to her place and saw Spike trying to eat her flank .... it was really weird, rarity seemed to somehow enjoy it which is sort of disturbing but hay, I don't judge, so then I try pulling him off but he was clamped on there good so I dug my hoofs into the ground and pulled with all my might and manged to pry him off her ... along with part of her cutie mark. I then grabbed him and quickly raced over here" Rainbow said, making it seem like she was the good guy.
"Ah, well that's good ... is Rarity ok?"Twilight asked concern over her friends well being.
"Yeah, she fainted though so i put her to bed" Rainbow said just as Twilight's charge spell finished and she prepared to unleash it on the machine
"Well, here goes nothing" she unleash the charge into the machine and it starts up.

Pinkie bakes some brownies
As the magically charge flew out the tip of Twilight's horn and coursed through the machine, the room went silent. That is, except for the sounds of the gears turning, the low whistle of the finely oiled mechanisms of the machine and the sound of increasingly heavy breathing coming from one Rainbow Dash, who was barely capable of staying seated as a feeling of pure distress as the machine started to do its work of diagnosing the sudden illness that was inflicting Spike. A cold sweat ran down her neck as the low beeping began, the lights on the machine slowly illuminating one by one.
Many thought were rapidly forming in Rainbows head, most of which were strategy's on how to get out of the situation thrust upon her with as little confrontation as possible, hoping that, with a little effort and a lot of luck, she could get away unscathed from the ensuing battle of words and possible hoofs that was likely to happen any moment from then. She tried to calm herself but was failing to do so the worry being to much for her, all she could do was watch and wait and even that was turning out to be more challenging than expected. She just sat.
Twilight focused her eyes on the contraption that would exposed the ailment inflicting Spike, barely noticing the nervous wreck that Rainbow was slowly become but she merely shrugged it off, more worried about her dragon and number one assistant Spike's well-being. She was quickly growing anxious but calmed herself using the breathing technique Cadence had taught her. She looked at Spike, who was squirming in the seat he was firmly strapped in.
All eyes turned back towards the contraption,which held both the much wanted knowledge from Twilight and the assuredly dreadful confrontation with Twilight from Rainbow, as a thick scroll began flowing out, growing quite long exceedingly fast. it started coiling into itself after some time and abruptly stopped about three minutes later. Once she was sure the scroll was finished printing, twilight grasped it with her magic and pulled it close to her person, unraveling it as she did so.
Just as the parchment got up to Twilight's now intrigued eyes, Rainbow, who couldn't stay seated and watch the situation unfolded any longer, burst from her seat and snatched the scroll from Twilight's magical grip, much to the surprise of the unicorn in question, and through it straight into the furnace that was position on the wall to the left of the machine which propagated the vile parchment. She then quickly unstrapped Spike, who was back to his normal self, picked him up, kicking and screaming and fled towards the door of the basement in a vain attempt to escape Twilight,s sure fury.
"Rainbow, What do you think your doing?"Twilight said, right pissed, and attempted to chase the two and thinking quickly she used her magic to shut the door before Rainbow and her Captive could escape, but Rainbow, not having any of that yelled back.
"What does it look like I'm doing Twi, I'm trying to escape here ...oh and its seems you forgot that I usually don't use doors" she said as she burst straight through the close door demolishing it in the process. She then proceed to crash into several bookshelves in her mad dash to escape the clutches of the local librarian, who most definitely wasn't an all powerful Alicorn, and made some quick apology's before slamming into the front door, shattering in into a fine mist of sawdust and running from the scene,quickly spotting Pinkie and running straight for her.
While this was happening Twilight, who was already angry at Rainbow , gave chase, her anger building up to an uncontrollable level as Bookshelves and doors were thrown about without a second thought by Rainbow in her hurry. She growls angrily and curses Rainbow under her breath, subconsciously trying to figure out the cost of repair that would most certainly come out of her own pocket,that is if she had pockets, and her rage builds up to a critical point and she burst into flames"Rainbow, you come back with Spike right now!!"she says unknowing burning some of her books with her flaming mane but luckily now fire starts. She quickly exits her library and resumes chasing Rainbow, shinging the ground lightly as she passes over it. She see Spike burn Rainbows mane and escape and rushes over to him,but is stopped by Rainbow,who created a strong gust of wind that knocked her away.
Rainbow,aggravated by Spike burning her mane and noticing Twilight approaching , created a gust of wind with her wings and chased Spike around until he ran up to Pinkie, who was walking around looking confused.She yelled out to Pinkie, gaining the mares attention and then took the opportunity to forcefully grab Spike and quickly jumped into the air and gained some altitude, so as to escape the ground bound unicorn.
Pinkie,after hearing Rainbows words and noticing a raging Quickly approaching, thunks to herself and satisfied with her decision she walks over to Twilight."How are you today?"she asks with a smile,in typical Pinkie pie fashion,a hint of nervousness in her voice.
Twilight stops upon hearing Pinkie and turns to the mare"Just great"she says with full sarcasm, not wanting to deal with the party planer at the moment,see quickly sidesteps Pinkie and is about to continue running when Pinkie, thinking quickly, uses her forth-wall breaking powers to conjures an apple pie into existence and proceeds to splatter it all over Twilight's face.
"Looks like you got pie all over your face Twilight ...its a good look on you"she says giggling before running away after Rainbow and Spike,hoping that she bought herself and the duo some time.
Twilight rubs the pie off her face, grumbles and just now remembering she could teleport, teleports nest to Rainbow, who was in mid flight"I,ve got you now"she yells victoriously.
Then Rainbow crashes into a wall, out cold.
