"Princess Twilight Sparkle," Princess Celestia called her student from across the room, "What are you doing in the library so late at night? It looks like you've made yourself a fort again."
Princess Twilight, a year after her coronation, was slightly taller then her friends, slimmer and a lot more graceful. Her wings were no longer bigger then her body could handle. Her eyes shined with knowledge that her successor was proud to call Twilight her pupil. Twilight looked around her and was surprised Celestia pointed out something she herself haven't noticed. She blushed and stood up, carefully not knocking over any stacks of books.
"I'm sorry, Princess." Twilight tried to hide her eyes under her bangs. "I kind of got sucked into them again. I didn't realize how late it was! Where's Spike?"
Celestia chuckled and with her magic, dug out a sleeping, green and purple dragon from under a loose pile of books. He was a little longer himself, his claws a bit sharper and his spikes more pronounced. But he still loved the gems everyone gave him and followed Twilight around like a little brother. It was true Princesses matured faster then dragons, But Spike was no normal dragon to befriend and live with ponies for so long as he has.
Twilight smiled at Spike and Celestia put him on her back softly. "Sorry if I missed out on a class. I started to read something and I forgot everything else."
"No worries Twilight," The sun princess smiled softly, but she looked tired, "5 minutes into the class we were supposed to do I had something urgent to attend to."
The purple pony realized a few weeks into her Princess training that 'urgent' was a given word for anything that had to be done at the last minute. Not always important and Celestia thought it was best to leave out some details. Twilight stopped asking about them. One time Princess Celestia had to pick u pa purple Pegasus because she was a trouble-maker; didn't always come to the castle when she had to and the train scared her after an incident a few months ago. She couldn't fly long distances either, so Celestia thought it best that she took the pony to make sure she didn't brake mentally. Twilight still couldn't understand why the princess did it, but she hasn't asked either.
"You've grown so much over the few years, my pupil." Celestia sighed, "Let me tell you a story as we go to your room. It's about the lavender Pegasus."
Surprised that the older Princess read her mind, she almost tripped over a stack of books. Luckily the forgiving Alicorn caught her and balanced her while putting the books back into their home. The white pony waited for Twilight in the entrance, watching the young princess yawn and walk to her, careful of her little dragon her back.
"What about the lavender Pegasus?" Twilight whispered even though there was no pony around.
Celestia smiled her patient smile and opened the door and let the purple pony through before her. She followed and closed the door behind her. They walked a little bit before she started the story: "A few years before you were born I found a little foul at the entrance of my castle. No note, nothing but a swaddle and a sleeping Pegasus in the rain. As you know, it's rare for Pegasuses to live in Cantorlot, seeing how it's mostly magic based. I had to give her to a family that wasn't too full or wanted a child... The Shines were a perfect choice."
The white, sun goddess sighed and looked outside of a stained window that Twilight never saw. It had tragedy all over it.
"I didn't know the hardships would start with that night." Celestia sighed, "Ame Shine is her name. One day out of the blue the carriage her family was in disrepair and no pony knew it. After they came and visited like they promised they would in return for the foul everything tipped out of the poor foul's favor. Not only did she lose her father, but she also lost her legs and hooves in the process. Her mother went into an insane despair after that, trying hard to keep a smile but couldn't. One day, after a visit with the doctors here at the castle she found her mother on the floor, dead from heart ache and sorrow. Rainbow Dash reminds me of her in a Pegasus way; She has the rainbow that Rainbow Shine had in her mane and tail, but it dulled over time. She aged quickly."
Celestia looked away from the window if somepony had slapped her. The memory of that day, a foul losing her mother right in front of her. She lowered her head to the ground, something the young princess never saw. "I didn't help," Celestia admitted, "I kept her in the castle grounds. She never liked it, Ame Shine slept outside a lot to keep out of the way of us and the politics of the land. I wanted to teach her but she refused. Ame Shine helped Luna get out of her room after you saved her. I enchanted her so she never aged, but because of the lack of happiness she had, her hide grew white. I was happy when she chose to leave the castle to go to Ponyville. She met you and your friends."
Twilight watched the princess to see if she would speak anymore. Ame Shine lived the hardest among the ponies she knew, smiled a lot and helped for almost nothing in return.
"But why does she come here every few years?" She asked.
"Remember when I told you she had her legs hurt in the accident?" Twilight nodded. "She couldn't walk and I wanted to do something. She has bionic legs that can help her land on clouds and walk. Ame is accepting it better."
It would explain so much, why she couldn't move when Twilight found her when herself was just a unicorn. That and why there were hoof prints throughout Ponyville.
Celestia yawned breaking her thought process, reminding that Twilight was also tired herself. They both walked silently to Twilight's room and nodded, quietly thanking her for the insight. Twilight closed the door quietly so she didn't wake Spike and softly put him in his bed. She turned out the reminding lights and slid into her soft bed, thinking of the pony who went through all of that and still hasn't lost hope. An ear rose when she thought she heard something scurry across the floor. She dismissed it and went into deep oblivion.
Twilight Sparkle couldn’t believe it, that somepony would accuse the Princess of being a Changling! Nonetheless one whose Queen tried to take over Equestria! Yes, she seemed more tired than normal, but recently she’s been out helping other ponies… Or something, Twilight never asked. She hasn’t seen Princess Luna around lately, either. Which is kind of weird. Now Twilight Sparkle couldn’t sleep because of Rose Quartz’s warning. What did she mean that a darkness is coming?
She rolled over and closed her eyes to go back to sleep – which made something in her mind flicker, and the flicker went away as quickly as it came. Frowning, she looked at the sky seeing the sun starting to peek out from beyond the valley. Sparkle had to squint to see a dark shadow rise with it, instead of filling the land with brightness.
Twilight gasped and blinked which brought the brightness back into the valley. Either the Princess were playing a trick on me or what Rose Quartz told me was true. She truely hoped it wasn’t the latter.
The purple mare nudged Spike and he whined a little bit, rubbing his eyes. He looked outside, gasped and stared at her.
“Twilight,” He squeaked, “Why is the ground all dark but the sun is up?”
“Huh?” Twilight had just looked at the ground; she couldn’t understand why the ground was dark again. Her purple eyes flowed with tears as she saw the darkness Rose Quartz had warned about clawing its way on the ground like a living creature.
Twilight quickly got up and Spike got on her back as quick as he could without clawing at her flank and cutting her. She opened the door and flew out of her room, leaving behind everything she had kept there - bottles of inks, pens and paper. Nothing of true importance. Being quiet was most importance to her to escape the castle.
As she flew, she saw the changes that she didn't see during the day: The guards' eyes had no color and they marched more like robots than the stroll-like cantor they had; the decor wasn't the night symbol had when the princesses changed shifts, instead there was a solid white circle with a grey sword in the middle of it. Twilight gulped and didn't think that she could easily just fly outside without causing chaos.
She landed behind a pillar and watched with Spike still clinging to her back in case Twilight decided to take off again. A guard behind her brushed against her side, and Twilight let out a loud shriek, alerting the other guards around her.
"Spike! You have to get the others for me!" She screamed at him and teleported him out of the room before he could say anything.
"Princess," It was Flash Sentry; The colt she had a major crush on since she came back from the other realm. "You have to come this way, I'll show you a safe area where you can hide for a while and not get caught. I can sneak you out until I can sneak you out when the Princess is gone."
"You'd really do that for me?" She pleaded, her eyes shining with hope.
"Yes," He said, trotting backwards to let the others know he had her, "N-now get back here so I can get you to the Princess! You're no-not supposed to be here this late at night!"
It was day though, almost morning. Something was up, either he's playing their game right or... Twilight Sparkle didn't have time to dwell on things like that.
"Okay," She said highly, "I'm sorry for roaming around out unattended?"
Flash Sentry lead her past the zombie-guards and took her down halls after halls, finally finding one that had no guards surrounding a hall. He pushed her into the room but didn't turn the light on, so she really couldn't see where she was going.
"Don't use your magic!" He whispered, "They might see the light!"
The room was pitched dark, and what she thought was empty from not tripping over anything. No windows, no lights, no anything but to wait. He kept shoving her until she had to go up a few steps, tripping over something metallic and long. She tried to get up but only could get her front legs over the next area. She felt a tug on both hind legs and then quickly her front legs. Twilight Sparkle flailed about without caring if she made noise.
"Hush, Princess," A dark voice came from behind her, "It'll all be over, you just have to relax..."
Flash turned the light on, revealing what she was strapped to. It was tall, but not tall enough that she couldn't put her hooves on the ground if they weren't strapped feet apart. She tried to wiggle her hooves out, but it was no use as Flash kept tying her down. He quickly tied her wings to her side and swing his long, hard dick in her face to show her what was going to happen. Her thighs quivered and her mind raced, still thinking of ways to escaped.
"I wouldn't use magic if I were you, Princess," He whispered in her ear as he started to nibble on it, "There's runes placed along the stand and the room in case you break free. But that'd be after you do me a favor... But I guess I'd be doing you a favor as well!"
Flash Sentry laughed a horrible laugh and watched her squirm as he licked her ear to her cheek. She tried to cover her face with her hair but that just egged him on even more. Taking his armor off and setting it aside, he walked up the steps and licked her thighs and started to travel inward, making her gasp and cringe.
"This will only go faster if you do as I please!" He ordered, "Trust me, Princess, you don't want a cramp in those pretty thighs would you? It'd be ugly if you do!"
Positioning himself on top of her, he ran a teasing hoof across Twilight's clit and tested her tightness with his tip, hearing her moan and scream a little.
What a joy, he thought to himself and tapped her on her shoulder, "Are you ready, Princess? For the biggest and best ride of your life?"
"Flash!" Twilight shouted, "Please!"
He mistook her begging for pleading, the acceptance for him to ride her. Flash pushed himself inside her, hearing her scream was a delight, and feeling her wet was priceless! It made him harder as each thrust he made her either scream, moan or plead his name. Flash watched her start to sweat and breathe heavily as he himself started to sweat. He started to go faster, pounding without mercy as the build up was starting to threaten to burst soon. He hugged tightly around her waist and pounded slow and hard, making sure she felt every bit of it.
When Flash came inside of her, he collapsed where he was, huffing and watching her reaction. He was glad that his real self wasn't here or the real Flash Sentry would be mortified. Well, okay, he was just beyond the wall to watch her. His face full of horror as he just watched his mate get taught a lesson. Flash got up and went out of her, listening gleefully of the final moan that escaped her mouth. Walking in front of her, he saw that she was knocked out.
Well, the Princess of Harmony wasn't bad after all.
"Hello Twilight Sparkle," A hazy voice interrupted the princess's dreams about a male pony and a ball. "May I speak to you or do you have other important matters to dream about?"
Twilight Sparkle looked around the ball room, her colt right next to her, staring intently as if asking for another dance. She searched around for the hazy voice and couldn't find it.
"Are you okay, Princess?" Said the orange colt, his blue mane combed neatly started to drop a bit in the front.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Twilight spun lightly around and tried to reason that maybe she was just hearing things. Maybe somepony is above me whispering things to me in my ear. Frowning, she saw the dream slowly become twisted, her date left her, everyone was leaving. She didn't understand! It was her dream!! A deep, red Changling walked over to her, bowing her head.
Her hair was a see-through pink-ish color, her eyes almost blood red. Twilight cringed and watched the Changling stroll to her.
"Do you think I'd be like my sister and hurt you?" The red changling hissed. "I see she left quite an impression. But I'm not here to hurt you, your Poniness; I'm here to warn you."
She lifted her head in a regal manner and let her hair sway in the musty room.
Twilight looked at her curiously and held her ground. She still didn't trust them because of what their queen did to her brother. Her brother couldn't quite recall everything even though it's been a year and a half.
"Why did you come here in my dream?" The princess shouted, "Who are you and what did you come to warn me about?"
"I am Rose Quartz," Rose Quartz bowed her head showing a sharp, jagged horn, "Princess of the Changlings, second to my sister Queen Chrysalis, older sister to Princess Moonstone, the one who jesters as your Princess Celestia. My warning is this; Do not trust your Princess, young one, trust those who only heed your warnings with no hesitation in harmony. Your friends are in danger thanks to my sister. Why do you think your training has been a month and not a couple weeks like promised?"
Twilight didn't like the hiss in the word 'promise' nor did she like her mentor to be called false. But Rose Quartz did bring up a good point, the training was supposed to be a couple weeks.
"Do not worry, young one, you will see me again," Rose Quartz lifted her head up and looked back the way she came from, "I am here to help you in your quest to stop the darkness from spreading. There will be a gem Spike will not be attracted to, that is my calling stone."
"But you haven't answered my other question!" Twilight Sparkle shouted over her, watching the red changling go.
