Chapters It was an average day in Ponyville the citizens where doing what they do every day. Shopping, walking, and chatting with each other. It was also a normal day for Fluttershy she just got done feeding her animal and was relaxing on her couch.” Thank Celestia I have some peace and quiet” she thought.That however was going to change out of the blue she heard an animals roars in the distance. The noise made her jump.”Oh my that animal must be in pain I have to go help it”.
Then Twilight came and opened the door. ”oh Fluttershy what brings you hear “.
Twilight said “ Well I…I heard an animals roar coming from the everfree and I wondered can you and the girls come with me to see if it is ok”.
“Why sure Fluttershy what are friends for lets go round them up”.
Two minutes later
After a few minutes Fluttershy and Twilight rounded up the rest of the Mane Six and they were talking about why they where there. “Darling may I please ask why you brought us here”. Said Rarity
“Yeah I was in the middle of a good nap and the cloud felt like softest thing in Equestria” Rainbow Dash complained, but stopped when Twilight put her hoof up.
“I know you may be cranky Rainbow but Fluttershy has been hearing some weird roars coming from the everfree forest”. The other girls where standing there with puzzling looks on their faces.
“ Uhhh sugar cube doesn’t that happen all the time” Applejack said " I mean animal roars happen every day"
“Well…Applejack not these roars they sounded like the animal was in pain” Fluttershy said.
“Maybe when we save the animal we can throw it a party” yelled Pinkie Pie. She was clearly shakeing with joy for and from another party.
“Uhhh Pinkie I don’t think that is a good idea the animal could be under attack and what is attacking it could still be there”. Said Twilight. She really didn't know why she wanted to throw a Save an animal party. She threw a party very early in the morning today.
“Ok maybe another time and then we can throw a saved an animal party” Pinkie said with a really big smile on her face. She then started bouncing around the room. She was also secretly writing plans for the party.
“Well uhhh that was weird ok back to the task at hoof let’s go help that animal “said Twilight. They started on their way not knowing what they will face.
Pov switch
The Dark One or what he liked being called Infa was not having a good day. He went into the forest the go hunt for some game to help feed his village but ran into a problem. After a few hours he was attacked by a weird animal. He saw it had a lion body and head, a scorpion tail, and bat wings. It roared as it charged him.
Infa easily dodged and brought out his trusty blade. “ Bring it on freak” he yelled at it. The manticorn charged as if it heard him and was bent on killing him. Infa dodged to the left and slashed the mantiacorn on the side of its face and stabbed it in its front right leg. The manticorn roared in pain as it brought it paw down trying to crush him but looked down and didn’t see him anywhere.
It started to look around for him but didn’t think to look up. “ Man this thing is stupid even a rock would know to look up” Infa Snickered at the manticorn for being so stupid. Infa smirked as he dropped from the trees above and stab the manticorn in the back. The manticorn howled in pain and was shaking to throw the pest off. Snickering at the manticorn Infa brought his hand onto the back of the neck of the manticorn.
Using his magic and sent hundreds of volts of electricity through the manticorn skull. The manticorn screamed and howled in pain as it felt the volts coursing through its body. As the manticorn started to die with what was left of its strength it rolled over to try and crush Infa. Infa knew what it was doing and tried to jump away but his blade was stuck in the manticorn's back. When he finally pulled the blade out the manticorn’s body fell.
He fell on the ground hard and the corpse crushed his leg. Infa felt all of his bones in his leg being crushed.
He looked around and saw glowing eyes staring at him. Soon timber wolfs stated to come out and circle him. “Ohh crap this is not going to end well” Infa thought.
Then a timber wolf lunged from behind knocking him down. As he hit the ground his blade slid away from him and the wolf’s back legs landed on his broken leg. Yelling out in pain he raised his arm to block the wolf from biting his neck. The timber wolf latched on to his arm and was trying to rip it off. Being a timber wolf it didn’t take into account that Infa had two arms. While it was biting his arm it felt something on the back of its neck.
The wolf struggled to free its self but felt its neck being turned. It let out one more yelp before having its neck snapped. Infa then threw the body off of him. “Time to end this before this gets out of hand”. His hand started to glow red.
Soon his entire hand was on fire. The timber wolfs still where waiting for a moment to strike but where weary of the flames. The Infa shot out a beam of flames lighting 12 of the wolfs on fire. Those wolf howled in pain and where running in every direction burning. Smiling that this was over he went to get hi blade and start on his way back to the village to get his leg fixed up.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw 6 colorful ponies. He also saw that they had horrified looks on their faces. Saying the first thing in his mind “Aww crap”.

As the Mane Six where walking through the everfree they decided too chat to pass the time. “Well….. what do you think will when we get there said Applejack trying to break the ice.
Twilight trying to be opportunist said “Well the animal could be hurt but also ok, whatever was attacking it may still be there, or it..it could be dead”. After saying that the Mane Six had worrying looks. Fluttershy was tearing up at the possibility that an innocent animal was dead.
“Don’t worry Shy the possibility that it is dead is 1 to 100” Applejack said was a grin. This got Fluttershy to stop sobbing and even got her to smile a bit. This also cheered everypony up.
“Uhhh Twi I know this may sound weird but what if what was attacking the animal was not from the everfree” Rainbow said. Twilight looked at Rainbow with an are you serious look.
“Really Rainbow nothing with a good brain wouldn’t even go into the everfree”. Twilight was thinking maybe a animal did walk into the everfree. “Well Rainbow there is a possibility that a animal not from the everfree” Twilight said while also trying to think of why one would go into the everfree. “I mean Fluttershy didn’t know the animal’s roars and she’s been helping all animals of the everfree”.
“Yeah that makes sense sugar cube she has seen all the animals in the everfree” Said Applejack.
“Now back to what I was saying what ever went into the everfree maybe had a reason like trying to find food or finding a place to live” said Rainbow Dash with a faraway look on her face.
“Yeah if it is a new species and it is still well I could record it and Shy could also learn about a new animal” Twilight was jumping in joy about learning about a new animal. Then the Mane Six heard something like something was in pain. They looked at a clearing and saw the weirdest thing in their life. A reptilian animal that was trapped under a dead manticorn.
Then they saw it roll the manticorn’s body off of its self and it tried to stand up. They saw that it was bipedal. When it tried to sand it fell back down.“I think its leg is broken” said Twilight with a worrying look on her face. Then they saw it pick up a blade and use it as a cane.
Then they got the shock of a lifetime lots of glowing eyes started to appear. The creature also saw this and got into a fighting stance.“Is…is it going to fight those timber wolf its crazy”Rainbow Dash said with a hint of fear in her voice. Out of the blue the animal talked.
It said “Well I never thought this is how I would go out eaten by timber wolfs”. This amazed and shocked the girls. A new species that could talk. Twilight thought she knew every species that could talk. Then a timber wolf lunged at it.
The creature kicked the wolf and chopped its head off. This made the girls sick to the stomach. They have never seen a timber wolf get decapitated. They also saw another wolf come up behind the thing. Then the wolf lunged and knocked the creature down.
The girls heard cries of pain coming from the creature. “The wolf must have landed on its leg” Twilight said with a sick look on her face. The creature brought it arm up to block the timber wolf. Then the girls saw it pick up the timber wolf and snapped its neck. The sound on bones snapping was too much for some of the Mane Six.
Fluttershy threw up, Rarity fainted, and Pinkie’s hair deflated. Hearing it say “I have to end this quick before this gets out of hand” the creature’s hoof started to glow bright red. Then it was completely covered in fire. This got Twilight’s attention she had never seen something use magic without a horn. Then they saw it shoot a fire beam from its hand.
This lit all of the reaming timber wolf ablaze. As it turned to leave he look at where the Mane Six where hiding. All they heard was “Ohh crap”.
Pov Switch
Then I saw it a blue pony with a rainbow mane. It had a look of anger on its face. I stabbed my blade into the ground. I didn’t want to kill the pony but I wasn’t going to let the pony attack me. When it charged me again I was ready and grabbed it by the leg.
It was thrashing trying to free its self. I then threw it onto the ground. It recovered and punched me in the face. The other ponies look in shock as I wiped the blood off of my face and said “That’s how you want to play”. It tilted its head but had a shocked face as I kicked it and sent it flying.
It hit a tree but quickly recovered. It tried to ram me again but I step to the side and grabbed it by the leg. It thrashed and tried to free its self. I was tired of this and froze the pony. I only froze its lower half to make sure it didn’t die.
“Now why did you…”. I couldn’t finish what I was saying a orange pony kicked me in the chest. The force of the kick broke some ribs. I started to cough up blood and I was clutching my chest. Some of the broken ribs went through my lungs.
I was coughing up more and more blood. The orange on look in fear of what she did. I heard the sound of ice breaking and then that blue pony was on top of me punching me in the face. Then she or he was covered in a purple aura and was lifted away.The last thing I saw before I blacked out was a yellow pony’s face.
Pov Switch
Fluttershy was shock when she saw the creature coughing up blood. She immediately knew that some of its ribs stabbed his lungs. She started to walk over and saw that Rainbow Dash broke free of the ice. What happened next shocked her the most when Dash broke free she immediately went and started punching the poor creature in the head over and over and over. Then Twilight levitated Rainbow off of it.
She ran to help it and saw it was in bad shape. One of its legs where broken its ribs where stuck in it lungs. Knowing that it needed help she said “ Girls the creature needs help now” Fluttershy said with a hint of fear. Twilight knowing if they didn’t act fast it would die.
“Alright girls we are going to help this… whatever it is and we have to be fast or it will die”. All of the Mane Six excluding Rainbow Dash nodded.
“You can’t be serious that thing tried to hurt me” Rainbow said while glaring at the downed being. She was going to start ranting on how they should just leave it here but was silenced by Applejack.
“I know this thing may seem dangers but to be fair you attacked first and you beat it down even though it was badly hurt”. Applejack had an angry look towards Rainbow.
“Even so Rainbow you had no right to attack it first and after we get back we are going to have a talk” Twilight said glaring at Rainbow Dash. Then Twilight charged up a teleportation spell and teleported the Mane Six the creature back to her house. As they got to her house they set the creature on a table in the basement and Twilight got ready to operate.

The Mane Six where sitting on the couch while Twilight operated on the creature in her basement. They were all bored and were looking for something to do. Applejack was reading some of the books on farming, Rarity after she woke up was styling her mane in the bathroom, Fluttershy was curled up and thinking about how the creature was doing, Pinkie Pie was planning a party for the creature, and Rainbow Dash was taking a nap. Applejack trying to break the ice said “So..uhh girls what do you think of our…guest “. She then looked at their faces to see what they may say.
“Well even thought he killed those timbers wolfs I.. guess it was out of self defense” Fluttershy said hiding behind her mane.
“Yeah” Pinkie said while jumping around “He may be tough to get used but he may be very nice if we got to know him”. Pinkie Pie was happy to plan another 2 parties. One for a You Are Alive party and one for a Hi party.
“Well I think we should send its sorry flank to the dungeons” Rainbow said with a bitter look on her face. She was still angry that they brought that thing back here. “We should have left it out there”.
“Come on Rainbow the only reason you hate it is because it looks different from us” Pinkie said “You didn’t have a problem with Gilda or any other race”. Pinkie was munching on some chips, she pulled out of the fourth wall when no one was looking.
“Yeah Rainbow Gilda was….. let’s just say she didn’t have the best personality in Equestria”. Rarity was walking out of the bathroom. Then the door to the basement swung open.
She was levitating it to show the Mane Six. “S..So is he going to be ok” Fluttershy said happy to know that the creature will be ok.
“Yeah he just will be knocked out for a while”. Then she felt a tugging at the blade. It soon turned into a tug of war. She felt the blade leave her grip and went to the basement door. She looked towards the door and saw it.
The creature was up and seemed fine. He held the blade and then hooked it on his belt. He looked at them and had a smile on his face. He then looked at Applejack and said “So you’re the one who caved my ribs in”.
Pov switch
When Infa woke up it was dark and humid. He thought back and remembered what happened and felt his chest and to his surprise it felt like none of his ribs where broken. When he remembered that blue pony he swoar that if he saw it again they would have a talk. He got up and noticed that his leg was ok. “Hmm I guess that one of those ponies fixed me up I’m going to thank them later on”.
He started to walk to the stairs and as he got to the door he heard someone talking. He opened the door a little and saw that the purple pony was holding his blade handle. Using his magic he tried to levitate my blade away from her. She tried to hold on but Infa managed to yank it away from her. When she turned around she had a look as if a horrible monster had crawled from the basement.
When Infa clipped the handle to his belt he looked up and saw that orange pony that caved in his ribs. He had a grin on his face as he said “So you’re the one that caved my ribs in”. When he said that the orange pony made a bolt for the door. Infa knew she was going to do that so he erased the door from the wall with a simple snap of his fingers. Every one looked at where the door was and turned to Infa they did this 5 times with their jaws hanging from their mouths.
Infa just stood there chuckling to himself. The purple pony was the one to break the silence. “How…. how did you do that”.
“It was simple I just thought of the door disappearing and snapped my fingers nothing can get as simple as that”. They still looked shocked at what he just did. Infa dicide to snap them out of it. “Well if your all done looking amazed by me why don’t we talk like adults”.
The blue one snapped out of her trance and rushed him. He side stepped and she slammed into the basement door. She shook it off and charged him again. This time he spawned an apple pie and her face planted into it. He heard some of the other ponies chuckle at their friends pie face.
She wiped the pie off of her face and was going to charge again but she was levitated and brought back to her friends. The purple one gave the blue one a pices of her mind. “Rainbow what are you doing this is not how you treat guets”.
“But Twilight..”.
“But nothing you attacked him for no reason at all”. Infa watched as the blue one sputtered as she was trying to make up an excuse.
“Well Twilight when this THING turns on you don’t come crying to me”. The blue pony walked over to a corner and started to whisper to herself.
The purple pony then walked over to Infa and put on a I’m sorry face. “I’m sorry for Rainbow’s temper”.
“Its ok in the past some races didn’t like my look”. He was trying not to single them out. He wanted his 2nd encounter with ponies to go bad like the last time. The purple pony went and got a few rolls of paper and some ink wells.
“So can I ask you some questions about you”.
Infa looked at her with a look of happiness and said “Yes.. yes you can”.
